incredible to have such an objective view even after loosing such an important game. What a man 🙌
* losing
It’s losing. Not loosing.
Atalanta made very objective for him. Too good, nothing they could’ve done to win.
what a LOOser
He can only be proud of his Team, he’s done a great job, something unprecedented for this Club. No regrets for losing they way they did, Atalanta were by far the better side and it’s fair to recognise it
~~~ Sometimes you win. Sometimes you learn. Xabi pure class )))))))))))))))))))))))
He's SO composed, man. Love it. He's the new face of football coaching, that's for sure.
what did you expect? him crying or something... ffs
That's only the fassade you see. Behind it there's a big hurricane of emotions and fire.
@@jiro4559blaming the ref like xavi
This is how you take a loss, xavi.
What a gentleman. Has Simeone said already,pure class.
Alonso is destined for great things.
It's no wonder he's coveted by many football clubs.
Class sheer class.
He is a Winner class “A”..!!!⚽️👍
This is how you take your loss - objective feedback. And pure class from Xabi Alonso. All the best on Saturday in the DFB Pokal Final.
Tbh guys, this is the best moment to lose. It’s a final they can be proud
Pure class.
Alonso will have a good future as a manager. In the meantime super congratulations to Atalanta.
For sure ,a brilliant 👏 mesmerizing unbeaten record which will take some beating
xabi,anche se oggi hai perso,sei un allenatore fantastico
The german fans have already being prepared the 100 % victory celebrations way before the game started. The celebrations turned down to a total complette catastrophic delusional expectations. Unrecognizable squad. Teammates confused and fully outplayed from their fierce opponents. For almost 90 min. The final result? Nightmare.😮
But nevertheless, credit must been given to them for accepting the defeating as a lessoning to fly a little bit lower.
Take this as a lecture for the future. Learn and imorove. You will be a great coach.
Atalanta just played the perfect match and when your opponent shines, their attacker scores at every shot and is in a state of grace, there's little you can do. Leverkusen's players looked confused and made a lot of mistakes.
Still a great manager and destined to even bigger glory in the future.
DDR ❤️🧡
It’s football I can happened to any team but what’s a achievement from xavi and his teams
❤❤❤
Did he just say Spielzeit 😅
Overthinking just like Pep Guardiola he decided to bench his starting strikers, Boniface and Shick
If he progresses as he is progressing he will eclipse Guardiola very soon gone undefeated with a shoe string budget he just needs to evolve
I pity Kanslau on saturday. 😊😂
No hradecky, no party
This is what happens when you underestimate your opponent. Winning in your own league is not like winning in a European final.
No chance with atalanta
xabi kaput
Spanish ole
Roma could win bundes
Back to Neverkusen again
Leverkusen player so lazy.. whre gegen press???
This match for Leverkusen was not a defeat but a rout. Xabi's team never seriously threatened Atalanta tonight, and all his certainties of victory, were buried under a resounding and well-deserved 3-0 defeat. Shut up and go home to do your homework 🤫
Maybe you should shut your mouth and learn to respect people. He is a young manager he will learn and he knows he was outclassed unlike certain managers that make excuses
@@Moisesbhaicedo No one is unbeatable and European competitions prove it; you can win 100 maches in your domestic league giving the illusion that you are invincible, then Atalanta comes along and beats the crap out of you. He may still be young as you say, but I don't read humility in his words. I hope this is just the first of more international beatings he and his team will take.
@@antestiusleontius3774 i understand your point btw I ain't a Leverkusen fan but just would've loved to see Leverkusen but fairplay to Atalanta
@@antestiusleontius3774 That would be a good argument if you made it against Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter and AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Dortmund, and many other BIG teams that have, at some point in time, conquered their respective leagues. However, you are targeting a team like Leverkusen who have never had a run like this until Xabi Alonso arrived. Yeah he didn't beat Atalanta so what? Does not give you a right to basically insinuate that what he did was useless and that he deserves to lose more important matches to "learn" a lesson. Believe me, Xabi Alonso knows what defeat tastes like and knows what needs to be done for victory. So stop being a hater, focus on your own team, and respect what needs to be respected.
@@jackfax Defeats help you in growing and learning from one's mistakes much more than victories, and all the teams you mentioned became great even by losing and accepting to bow to the opponent. As I wrote above, Gasparini's team yesterday was superior in everything, dominating and subduing the opponent both tactically and mentally. In Xabi's words this superiority is not even mentioned, but only hinted at the end of the interview just because some journalist asked him about it. Without humility and sportsmanship you go nowhere.
Being unbeaten in farmers league is a thing, doing the same in Euro cups is another one ! Couldn't care less of Atalanta champ of the cup, but I do care of Leverkusen been completely outclassed 3-0 in final, for the german team acting so arrogantly on the Rome semifinal. Before learning to win you need to learn shutting ur mouth when you've got cocky attitude !
What happened in semis
3 0 go home
Get out you are finished
U dumb bro 😂
Omg this b!!! One loss and you think they are finished ! Omg you don’t know football
@@xavierlema6290 i was kidding
Man got it wrong. How can you start Adli against a physical Atlanta side? And he had Boniface and Schick on the bench and started Adli & Frimpong in attack. What a weirdo. They aren’t winning the league next season.😂😂
In a a couple of Years You will look back and say to yourself.......i was an Idiot then
Weirdo....that is xabi alonso
if I was him I'd be straight on the phone to my agent and leaving Leverkusen
Why?
That's not how it works, even from an outsider standpoint
They lost 1 game, an important game, but only one game. No need to go to extremes.
that's why he want CR7...for strengthening mentality
???? This is football, you win and you lose , real 5-0 , Brazil7-1 happens , if every loss you give up every club is closed
Alonso you just sold the match to Atalanta. How can you leave out 3 strikers no 9s like Boniface, Schick, Iglesias on the bench who has physical presence that can match up with the huge Atalanta defense to start all short diminutive players like Adli, Fritz and Grimaldo in attack. At least you should have started 1 out of 3 of your top strikers and i believe the match wouldn't have been much more competitive. Anyways good luck next time
