You know you're watching a maestro when you google their history and every interview/etc you find it's critically important _when_ it was made, because they keep moving on and on and on through their art... They're all valid moments in time but the subject keeps innovating....
The irony that one of the best directors in recent history is being interviewed using some of the worst direction ever

@@Eli-pl2pi Weird or random doesn't equal creative. I can almost see him cringing at this student film level creative spin on surrealism. To pull off avant garde filming you need to be extremely purposeful. This was an attempt to be different but actually took no creativity at all. It was dumb and as he is someone who films extremely well thought out "randomness and surreal images" this was the worst way to interview him. No actual creativeness.

What are some helpful resources to writing your own screenplay, expanding your directing, how to even come up with ideas, and so on? I'd like to make my own movie or music video by the end of this year but I'm new to this art form.
