Definitely not a Trump supporter but I think that Melania’s outfit was just perfect. She wasn’t trying to draw attention to herself. Allowing the attention to be on Barron. It was his day!!

They were standing in the sun, so she had a hat on. The clothes were a good choice. They were there like any other family, so the outfit didn't stand out. Classic, decent.

I'm not a Trump supporter, but I really wish people would leave them alone. I get it he's on trial and that's his gig, but this is his son's graduation and they shouldn't be criticized or judged on the clothes they wore. They're parents supporting their son. If the entire family showed up, I'm sure social media would be complaining about how they were able to be there when other families were only allowed a certain number of tickets to attend. Again, I don't like or support Donald Trump, but for his son's sake let him enjoy a day without people making up crap.

Big deal, it does not mean that Trump received special privileges. And so what if the Trump family got to sit in the reserved front row? It does not mean that Trump received special privileges. On so what if the other families had to arrive 2 hours earlier so that each could be searched and cleared for entry. Big deal, it does not mean that Trump family received special privileges. This day should be about Barron.

Oh, please. When I graduated from high school. I was allotted 2, TWO!, tickets. I had two parents, 4 grandparents, 9 sets of aunt/uncles, and a couple of older male cousins who were guiding my early steps into Penn State. It was a nightmare, resulting in no one showing up for my graduation family picnic. It taught me that many "family" members weren't worth my spit. I moved on with life, far from the ninnies. Barron will survive.

@JoanMorrison-vq2jc Thank you, but that was 1968. The lesson really should be that high schools need to think about using venues that can accommodate families. I've since earned two college degrees, three teaching credentials, quite a number of certifications, and retired from a career as far away from those dolts as I could get. I've done quite well, thank you.

@@stillretired There were members of my family who were just itching for a fight about something. We were all given two tickets. My family called everyone on the school board to get four more tickets. They got them. I was horrified.
It's a shame no one showed up for your graduation. Probably because they didn't want to make one other feel bad. My nephew just graduated college and could have who he wanted, but days before the graduation he was told they changed the venue seating from free to charging anyone that came, because Jill Biden was speaking at the graduation. He called everyone and told them he wasn't going to his graduation because Jill Biden was speaking. He said he didn't want to hear anything she had to say so he wasn't going, and he was appalled that they were charging for seating last minute.

Excuse me, I wore a similar (although much cheaper) hat to my grandson’s graduation in the Florida sun as did many ladies. That’s what’s worn here. Also, depending on the venue and school of course, a limited number of tickets are given to each graduate. Can we give it a break?
