They gotta get that Oscar. Their work just keeps getting better.
The Rescue is an exceptionally impressive documentary to anyone who appreciates learning the absolute truth of any historical event.
these two Directors (Vasarhelyi and Chin) have received the past torch of true accurate story-telling with honest decorum, and carried that torch to a refreshing new level that is unfortunately too rare in these modern media times.
easily a 10/10 doco.
I’ve watched the doco 3 times already. I does such a great job at capturing the stakes, the morale courage, and also the strength of the human spirit and our generosity as a society. It’s more than just a documentary film, it’s hope distilled into a one-hour and forty-minute film. My hats off to this couple - their films just keep getting better.
I just watched this on Disney. I wish I could have scene this on the big screen. Great film. We all know they survived but it was still nail biting and tense.
They will get their second pair of Oscars with this film.
You guys did such a great job with this. I esp liked the compassionate view of the local thai and the focus on SE asian viewpoint and stories. Thank you!
This makes Apollo 13 look like child’s play👏👏👏👏🙏🏻
Well done From Hungary 🇭🇺
I would watch the 2hr 20min cut of the film.
Chin is a world class climber and no one can take that from him. But him saying he knows or works with “special ops” units. That’s pretty fucking bold being a nobody when it comes to military
This is the best
Thank you 🐋🌊👽
My little soul is part Asian so if I can thank the other side of the world again friends
Jimmy looks baked!
❤️
This video's obviously not 4k 60fps. It's barely 1080p 24fps. Great documentary though
This documentary was incredible... I love this couple so much. They are supremely talented. The Rescue deserved an Oscar nomination and win.
