- Thanks to IMG Secrets, I've secured many interviews in the U.S. and Canada.
Hi, I'm Gugliemo, a Neurosurgeon from Italy. Today, I want to share how IMG Secrets helped me.
After my residency in Italy, I struggled with the USMLE and applying for neurosurgical fellowships. As an IMG, the U.S. health care system was unfamiliar and challenging. I needed a mentor, and IMG Secrets became that guide.
Dr. Rajeev Iyer and I created a personalized plan. With their help, I built a strong application, including a great CV and cover letter. The ongoing support and interview prep were invaluable.
I've received multiple interviews and matched into prestigious programs. The journey is tough, but with dedication and the right support, it's achievable. For me, IMG Secrets was a crucial part of this journey.

What are my chances of getting fellowship positions in Pediatrics in USA ?
Pediatrics is one of the less competitive specialties. Getting in would depend on how strong an application you put forth, opportunities, your CV etc. You can carefully approach this with a strong application

Do we have to do residency again in usa after fellowship or we can directly practice after fellowship??
Directly becoming a consultant is an option and that would depend on how strong a candidate you are. Very few candidates are eligible for this path to by pass residency.
