As someone who has worked as a recording engineer and is obsessed with sound, that also stood out to me. It made me want to buy the pen. I'm a nerd. In so many ways/
There are many factors in improve handwriting . A plan I discovered which successfully combines these is the Secret Smart Scripter (look for it on google) without a doubt the best remedy that I've heard of. Check out the interesting information .
Beautiful video, but you didn't actually write with any of them...? Also, the only pen you mentioned how to load was the first one. It would've been helpful to see how the other pens are loaded with ink.
I know this is late, but I'd assume it's because the unique aspect of the first pen IS the ink chamber. The rest dont show it because thats not whats unique about them (such as made out of brass or hand torched)
I adore my Pilot Décimo Vanishing Point. I have very bad bad paper in my job and using an Extra Fine nib is the solution. It writes smoothly and effortless, love my fountain pen!
I'm happy to see a modern two-in-one pen. I thought there aren't any. I had to buy an 80 years old pen (fountain pen/pencil combo) because i couldn't find any newer one. Luckily i like it a lot.
Perfectly favourite was the ystudio desk fountain pen because its unique design and its beautiful colour makes it perfect for writing but I loved all the pens but I think this is my favourite
Nice video and oh so satisfying. The smallest one was the most beautiful whole the retractable one's the most quirky. Is there a rule of thumb whether you put the cap on the back for writing? I've noticed you do it with a couple while you didn't with others. Got myself a Lamy Studio Brushed and trying to figure out what's best to build as a habit.
There aren't any rules when it comes to posting! Some people like to put the cap on the back of the pen if they have larger hands or prefer the weight to be a little towards the back. Others never post the pen at all. It's completely up to your personal preference!
Yeah, but the video is less than 5 minutes long, and it’s called “Top 7 Unique Fountain Pens” It’s not called “Every Fountain Pen From Fountain Pen Brand on Earth.”
Wish the pilot vanishing point just didnt have that clip on the grip. if the clip needs to be in such a bad place why not just get rid of it altogether?
i'm not hating but, "the carbon fiber is integrated into the whole structure of the pen", is an absurdly convoluted way to say, it's made from CFK tube. worth mentioning is, that carbon fibre is very hard and abrasive, way harder than keys and the like.
chandran natesan It really depends on how you hold your pen. I'm prone to twisting my pens while writing, so it helps to keep my pen in the proper position. I know other people who HATE it and find it hits them in just the wrong spot. I liked it (and how it wrote) enough to buy two - the matte black and the carbon fiber blue (I'm not sure if that one is still available). Both with the gold nibs (they also sell styles with alloy nibs). I don't usually buy more than one of a pen that's more money than a Lamy - this is my only double pen in the $30 or more range (both were around $100 ea). The negative on them is that the matte is losing its color, which I'm not pleased with for that price. If you can, try it out in person first to make sure the clip doesn't bother you.
Fantastic pens, but the list doesn't really make too much sense. I say that because the price points are all over the place. If we're talking about really unique pens, might as well go for the "most" unique. One example would just be the vac mini. Vac filler is cool and all, but you also have that on a Visconti Homosapien. Vac filler + MADE OUT OF LAVA. 2nd would be the Vanishing point. Clicker FP is alright (it's a good pen, and very utilitarian, but the concept is pretty boring), but check out Montblanc Boheme. Retractable nib that reveals the nib after you post it. 3rd Would be the Liliput. Liliput is quite alright as well, but it's too small to be used for more than 2 pages. A great sub would be the Pilot MUREX. No need to describe it, just check out the nib. And so on. As you can see, the price points are consistent that it's on the top end of the spectrum, and they are really a beauty to look at. If you want to keep in line with the mid-low end price points, you can look at Sheaffer inlaid nibs, Faber Castell wood finishes, Sheaffer snorkel, chinese fude nibs, and so on! If there's anything any person reading this would get, it would be that fountain pens are so damn beautiful, diverse, and unique. Be damn careful about this rabbit hole lol.
I would never buy a fountain pen that looks like a ballpoint like that two-in-one or the vanishing point. It feels like your trying to hide the fact that your using a fountain pen rather than showing it off and both of those seem a bit gimicky to me.
You can't humanely source a deer antler. Once you use an animal product for fashion you are making it something certain people will desire. There will be knock offs, more demand, etc for that item and you are sentencing innocent animals to death for a stupid fashion trend. Plus, you would also have to monitor this "humane" sourcing on an ongoing basis.
There are so many other pens you, do not know. 1 Parker pen:, sucks ink like syrange. 2.Doctor pen :, while kept in pocket, very small while writing. Cap is mounted back it is normal. 3.Camlin pen: sucks ink when back portion rotated which is invisible normally. 4. Another pen : company I didn't remember but with gold nib, nib emerges when turned back side which. Is in our house when I am studying in high school.
Deer antlers fall off seasonally and then the deer grow new larger antlers. Kind of like how lizards molt their skin. You just have to collect them from the forest floor. That seems pretty humane to me.
Divyanshu Singh two different focuses imo. Goulet is pretty much just fountain pens while jet pens is more focused on Japanese stationary for the office/student.
In what way are they behind? They serve two different markets neither is behind or ahead of the other. Though JetPens does have more than double the followers of Goulet tbf.
I just got my Cross Bailey Fountain pen. It is red lacquer with silver trim. It truly is a classic looking fountain pen. The nib is medium and the ink flows smoothly. It dries really fast, before you finish the next word on the paper. You will have to get used to writing with a fountain pen if you are a first time user. The posting (Posting is when you put the cap on the back of the pen while you write, regardless of whether it pushes on or screws on with threads) is HORRIBLE. It does not stay and becomes loose and won't stay posted. I am an author and own 12 cross pens from ball points, roller balls, fountain pens. I don't know why cross can't fix this. If it wasn't for the loose posting, this would be one hell of a classic fountain pen for the price. fredberri.com
1:12 That's a very well recorded click.
Thank you!

Lol Indeed
Mostly yeah
Low end $63, high end $475

Thank you for your feedback! We will definitely keep it in mind for our next video.
I know this is late, but I'd assume it's because the unique aspect of the first pen IS the ink chamber. The rest dont show it because thats not whats unique about them (such as made out of brass or hand torched)
Just found this channel and I'm starting to hate it because it makes me want a lot of stuff

Same.
The quality of these videos is always impressive
I adore my Pilot Décimo Vanishing Point. I have very bad bad paper in my job and using an Extra Fine nib is the solution. It writes smoothly and effortless, love my fountain pen!
The Kaweco Liliput Fireblue is a great pen. The Liliput itself is a great pen in my opinion.
I'm happy to see a modern two-in-one pen. I thought there aren't any. I had to buy an 80 years old pen (fountain pen/pencil combo) because i couldn't find any newer one. Luckily i like it a lot.
Great video! Its very relaxing and the change of narrator really fits the video’s mood!
whoa... these pens look premium.
Perfectly favourite was the ystudio desk fountain pen because its unique design and its beautiful colour makes it perfect for writing but I loved all the pens but I think this is my favourite
TWSBI s , are my favourite demonstrators.
I wish the Vanishing Point, if it falls detects it needs to retract:-)
Well I did some circuit research and did some extension on the pen it works but
It would need to be bigger
Waiting for the day when I can buy any of them or may be all without worrying about the price...
Sharanya Nidhi same
Theyre like only 200 usd per pen, that isnt even that much

I really loved the YStudio Brass pen, but I am afraid of looking for its price!! It must be over $600 or maybe even more.
It's actually $180! www.jetpens.com/Ystudio-Desk-Fountain-Pens/ct/4706
is this the "don't sell your kidney for an i phone but for these fountain pen" music?
JetPens, could you tell me what product is that white binder that it shows at 3:00, the one with metal rings?? It´s beautiful!

Hi! The Pilot Vanishing Point Decimo is refillable with both cartridges or a converter.
@@JetPens Thank you!
Pretty sure the pilot vanishing point will be my next pen. Just gotta save up for it.
The one i liked best was the last pens made from antler. Thanks for sharing some amazing pens.
_Opens pen case_
*Has an entire flap filled with Pilot VP's*
Is there a difference between decimo and vanishing point? Or are they the same pen?
Hi there! They are the same pen technically, but the Pilot Decimo is a slimmer, lighter version of the standard Pilot Vanishing Point.
Forgot to mention, that I really like the Yumeginga.
Very nice video. I love all pens and the best one is Waldmann two in one.😘😘😘
good presentation and thanks for giving information
Thanks Jet Pens.
What was that notebook in Kaweco Lilliput?
I want to see bent nib pens for artist..
Who makes that beautiful bag at 0:47?!
Background music name please?????
No word about Visconti, Mont Blanc, Pilot, Sailor, Aurora, Parker, Waterman? There are hundreds of unique pens out there.
Yeah, but the video is less than 5 minutes long, and it’s called “Top 7 Unique Fountain Pens” It’s not called “Every Fountain Pen From Fountain Pen Brand on Earth.”
I 🙄 🙄 🙄 wish I have these pens because my hobby is to collect stationary etc
All brass has lead in it. It can't be made without it.
The amount is minuscule, and unless you’re eating your brass pen, there’s nothing to worry about.
She has such a beautiful hand

I think the Ystudio pen designer got his inspiration from movie The Dark Knight.

What typa oxymoronic shit is "humanely sourced deer antlers" to mass produce a line of pens.
