Idk about if it's the Jazz. I am genuinely starting to question Sham's credibility though. you guys notice that he tweeted out the the sixers were out on PG when they were the frontrunners? Or that now Shams is saying that JK NEEDs (according to his article yesterday) to be a part of a Lauri Deal, and other people are saying it's just podz? I bring that up to say this. Shams works for fanduel, and you better believe people were putting money on Where PG is going, and where Lauri is going. Think he's purposefully putting stuff out to make the company money.

Nooope. He is an all-star talent no doubt, but I think the combo of Podz and Kuminga alone is worth more to the chance of winning. Podz is a glue guy, a high bball iq, and is a dude that has infectious hustle. There is value beyond individual stats. And Kuminga has a pretty high cieling. Perhaps not the player Lauri is, but has taken steps every year.

DA said from the very first post season media. that they don't want to trade LM, but they will listen to offers.. Ironically the Jazz has placed Lauri’s value so sky high he will expect a max extension. If they don’t pay it they will end up with nothing. No picks, no young talent, no additional draft capital, no swaps. Going to laugh my head off

What I love about all this talk is the reporting like it is somehow something the warriors would consider. We already knew one of the reasons the Paul George thing didn’t happen was the clippers wanted picks, pod and Kuminga and the warriors told them it was a non starter. The Jazz clearly dont want to trade Markkenen. Otherwise their asking price wouldn’t be including non starter pieces for a more valued player like George, but then to ask for like double the amount of picks. It really is laughable.
Although I guess maybe the cohen era warriors might have been dumb enough to do it.

The warriors FO has actually had a solid offseason and I think theyve gotten over the multiple timeline thing. They are looking to win now. If they keep Podz and TJD, its because they think the team can win with those guys alongside SC. Theres a lot of evidence (even from last season) that we can.
Would love to see one more move, but even still, the roster is in a good place. Our starting lineup right now was one of the best 5 man lineups last season.

Jazz have no other star or good player and we have no Free Agents that wants to play in Utah. We need to keep Markannen in Utah, we have very little chance of getting anyone else that is good.
