I've always said that my definition of Hell is being stuck in a room with nothing to look at, nothing to read, nothing to hear, no one to talk to. The 1st thing that really struck me that she's guilty was her answer when the detectives asked if she was injured under her shirt sleeves. She answered, "No, I mean, these sleeves don't really come up, so if there was, there would be a cut on the shirt". Not one single time in the interview was the mention of a knife, or any weapon, used in the death, not one time was it mentioned that she was in the room when he got stabbed (only way she could get her shirt, hand, or arm cut), not one time was it mentioned there was a fight (which she alluded to when she said, "...there would be a cut on the shirt". That would happen in a struggle with the knife.

    "he had a drinking problem" "we walk around during meals, it helps us think" I have the feeling both of those were about her. And JUST her. She isolates him, keeps him from having anyone over, controls everything he does... I've seen that pattern before. Sometimes the guy manages to escape before the female ends up killing him.

      She wanted him for his money since she's a failure at "modelling". He was a free ride for her and when she knew he was out and she was going to lose the house and have to work for her own money she killed him.

    • @glamdolly30
      @glamdolly30 Рік тому

      @@madsdee7803 She said he gave up his commission-only job because he wasn't making any money - like it wasn't a problem. I think it was a BIG problem. Sounds like she was the sole breadwinner, and as they recently bought a house together and had a lot of joint financial responsibilities, I bet she was getting real resentful about him not contributing. She claimed she didn't mind him not working, because he helped out in the house and did a few repairs - Yeah, right! I call BS! Money is the biggest reason couples fight.
      She is clearly a narcissistic abuser. It was revealing that she had no friends to call up for a place to stay, when cops asked her. She was so desperate, she was even prepared to call her victim's brother - despite the fact he'd never liked her, and she'd just murdered his sibling!
      These control freaks become obsessive about their partner, to the exclusion of all other relationships/friendships. Once they've hitched their wagon to a victim, they want to shut out the world and be totally dependant on each other. It's all about power and control. Often they will physically move the victim many miles from their friends and family, to isolate them and get the dependency they crave.
      We more typically see cases of controlling men who abuse, and ultimately kill a female partner. This case and others like it are a reminder that women can be narcissistic abusers too. And they can be better at it, because people don't generally suspect females of the kind of domestic abuse/coercive control that's much more common from males.
      It's just a shame this video was so thin on the facts and context of this murder case. It's really just 1 hour 38 minutes of a pretty boring and evasive, first police interview - before the cops realised the subject was the killer, and put any pressure on her. I felt cheated at the end, having sat through all that and winding up with so many unanswered questions. What was her eventual story/confession? What did the video footage of the couple from inside the house reveal? What was the suspected motive? How did she get away with second degree murder and 20 years, rather than a life sentence? Hopefully there's a video out there that provides the answers - sadly, this one certainly did not!

And her ex was SO jealous of her being with someone else, she's a cosplay MODEL (make sure you write that down, MODEL), lol! It just had me shaking my head because little things stood out to me. @@markmike7933 I'm not sure about cats, but I know from my own experience dogs can feel powerful empathy and love for their owners. I believe they would all have felt trauma that terrible night - we can only hope it wasn't long lasting.
      It's heart breaking that Matthew's beloved husky dog, who he adored and had from a puppy, was present when he was viciously stabbed to death by that monstrous, knife-wielding girlfriend, screaming "I hate you!" "Go F yourself!" and "So F-ing die!" as he cowered on the ground in the foetal position.
      And she left him to bleed out for hours, before she called 911 (his cause of death was a stab wound to the arm, which hit an artery). By the time paramedics arrived, he had rigor mortis. I feel the animals will have been aware of the extreme violence, even if they didn't see it - they are very perceptive, and would definitely have heard the aggression and fear, and smelled the blood. And I suspect Matthew's dog will have grieved his loss - when a dog loves you, it will never forget you. I pray they are now all living in loving forever homes

    So easy to spot fake crying like that. The fact she can continuously stop in the middle of these crying outbursts to answers questions clearly is a huge red flag.
    Generally when people are full on crying or breaking down like that, they find it very hard to stop to speak, and when they speak it is often while still crying and its often unclear or difficult to understand.
    its different for minor tears/crying, but for full on weeping like she is pretending to do here, you can't just control it with an on/off switch as she is doing here.

    She said "if I had any cuts on my arms there would be cuts through the sweater as this is what I was wearing last night" why would she have any cuts on her arms from last night that went through her sweater?
    She also said that the garage door was definitely closed because they realised the cat was missing at 10 and thought it had gotten "out out" so went to look for it and found it in the garage. I dont know about you but i generally dont go from worried my pet had escaped and searching for it to so tired i fell asleep in my chair in the same time frame. I've had so much bad luck with bureaucracy over the years that if I was ever "invited" by th epolice to answer some questions, I would assume I'd be placed under arrest even if I was as innocent as a babe. I would be expecting some kind of horrible clerical error -- some young bimbo of a secretary made a typo while writing down a criminal's social security number, turning it into MY social security number and so now I'm the criminal. Or someone misfiled some paperwork -- so that my file ended up in a different folder belonging to a wanted criminal with the same name as mine (I have a somewhat common first and last name) and so the police show up at MY door. Believe me, I've had this sort of thing happen before. Like ... when I started college, I was put on academic probation -- on my FIRST semester! Because, just as I said, someone misfiled paperwork. I lost hundreds of dollars at a bank because someone there transcribed my routing number to someone else -- and they were able to clean me out before I discovered the screw-up. I could go on and on. So I even get terribly nervous just getting pulled over. Some 20 years ago, I was pulled over for a seatbelt violation and I was so nervous my hands were shaking. Of course this made the cop suspicious and he asked me why I was shaking --- and I told him why. Because I don't trust the bureaucracy -- I always fear that there will be a warrant out for my arrest or some damn thing because of someone else's boneheaded mistake. Because it's happened to me so many times.
