What a beautiful moment. My first favorite band along with my current favorite band collabing 🥲🥲 I first got into Sublime when I was 13, I’m 34 now. Such a bitter sweet moment hearing Bradley’s vocals along with Jacob on the same track!! And that added Stick Figure sound is 🤌🏼🤌🏼👨🏻🍳 oh so nice 🔥
Stick Figure is a big Sublime fan, obviously. He even covered part of Garden Grove on a medley song on one of his early albums. Sublime is my favorite band ever. And Stick is one of my favorites now, if not #2. Collab from heaven.
Same here, got into them at 15, 39 now. All time favorite band and favorite current band, Brad's vocals are still haunting, Stick Figure's unique sound is perfect for this. Simply epic.
When this song came on Pandora, I stopped what I was doing! I'm a long time Sublime and Stick Figure fan. I can not express how refreshing and satisfying it was to hear this masterpiece. This song floored me, and inspires me. This has the real feal of the original movement. This music will forever be great! Ska, reggae will live on!
Sublime doesn't exist without Bradley. So when i heard this was coming out it left me in disbelief. I can't even explain how stoked I am about this. I have been waiting for this day. To have father and son on the same track together is absolutely epic. I knew It would happen sooner or later. It give me goosebumps every time i play it. Now This is truly worthy of the name sublime.
Forever love Bradley... Since age 15, Sublime has encircled my life...to this day I still blast their music loudly throughout my neighborhood and now Jakob is making sure Sublime never dies... ❤✌🏼
Couldn’t have said it better!! 🫶Keeping Sublime alive!! I’ve been hooked since 95 when I saw the original band in Orlando!! And YES I KNOW HOW LUCKY I WAS- it was one of Bradly’s final shows 🙏
This is wild. I had no idea Brad's son was making music. The mixing, scratching, vocal melodies, ad-libs, the mastering- everything is so well done and kind of embodies the spirit of Sublime. I always got the vibe Brad loved to play with music in the moment depending on what felt right to him at the time, and that's exactly what this reminds me of. Looking forward to checking out more tracks!
Im a 90s baby and it makes my soul smile to hear Bradley, its so awesome that icons in my life at a young age are still being remembered. We miss you brad!! Lou dog too.
My goosebumps won't go away. Brings me right back to when I first discovered Sublime in the 90s. When I heard that Jakob was going to sing for Sublime my first thought was that kid has some big shoes to fill but it's clear that he and his dad wear the same shoes. Really looking forward to more new stuff from Sublime!!!
It is so incredible to hear Jakob on an original Sublime song, singing with his dad no less. Thank you so much for the new music. Been a fan for decades. Can't wait to see where the band goes from here!!
Hell yeah. The world needed more Sublime . For real. Plus, everyone suffered from losing Brad. I’m sure they would have toured in Kentucky eventually lol.
The 90s was a tough time for music fans, first Kurt, then Bradley…then in the rap scene two of the arguably heaviest hitters back to back of Tupac then Biggie, and plenty of other noteworthy names too. I’m so happy Jakob is breathing new life back into this band. It’s like Sublime vibe paused when Brad died and Jakob finally pressed play. Exactly what we all need these days
I saw Sublime late 1995 and have loved them ever since ❣️ I’ve been loving Stick Figure for a few years now. This song hit me, made me cry🥲 Love you Bradley❣️ Thank you for this 🙏
I don't know how you could look at all these comments and not believe that music is an actual religion. Look at all the joy this one song has brought to people who share more differences than similarities. But all it takes is one thing: music with heart and soul at its core. Your god gave you music as an ally. Those of us who hear the message are one race. One soul. One being. Rise above the hatred that evil uses to divide us. If we could all do that, life would be SUBLIME. ❤🔥🌲💨💣💥🎼🎙🎧🎛🎸🎺🎷🥁🪘🪇🎶
@moesch4652 yep, sure bud, that's what religion is🙄 religion brings people together, that's the point, depending on the religion. Music is listened to literally religiously. People just want to throw a fit from just seeing the word without any actual religious experience. It's not the most evil thing in the world. What is evil is the views of hateful people, that's what separates people, not religion, but people's hatred.
@@ThatGuy-ht4sp some of the biggest religions call for the death of those that don’t follow their belief . More people have died in the name of religion than anything in history including from the hands of Catholics and Christian’s , Muslims . Jews , etc no one is exempt to bloodshed and you can’t compare anything to the psy op that is religion .
@@ThatGuy-ht4spUm, from what I've seen, religion divides people far more than bringing people together. Music and religion should never be compared together. Music truly brings people together. Don't see too many people dying over music...
I knew one day something like this would come. Brad had so much music that was never released. I hear a bit of Eireen in this song, and some other stuff I've never heard from Sublime. There used to be a Wikipedia page of just Sublime bootlegs. There had to be 30 albums worth of them. Awesome collaboration, Stick and Sublime!

Couldn't agree more, sadly I got into their music after his death :( (Sublime)
Born 01'
Same as me! Got into sublime I was around 12 and I’m 34 now. Still my favorite band.
Life is Sublime
Much ❤️ ,and respect

😍 Jakob sounds amazing. Chills to hear Bradley say he's back in the studio! Yes!!
dude im 44 and got hooked on sublime in 1996...lifetime fan till i die fr
Couldn’t have said it better!! 🫶Keeping Sublime alive!! I’ve been hooked since 95 when I saw the original band in Orlando!! And YES I KNOW HOW LUCKY I WAS- it was one of Bradly’s final shows 🙏
I was 12 the first time I heard, "What I Got" on the radio and was instantly hooked. I'll be 40 this year.
Always and forever Sublime
I turned 40 last fall and Sublime has been my favorite since 1996 when I first heard them on the bus on the way to middle school
love that Sublime bootleg sample!!🔥 A whole new album with Jacob and bootleg samples of Brad would be so sick!
That absolutely needs to happen!
I was born and raised in San Diego and Sublime embodied the culture of So Cal 🤙🏽
Word
Bro this is sick. I’m 32 and grew up listening to sublime. This is is so emotionally historically great ❤
Shoutout to Stick Figure for keeping this sound going. I just found Sublime two years ago and now they’re back as if they never left. Good shit🤙🏼
Beautiful indeed! Stick Figure has something to do with it ❤
This is like stepping into a God damn time capsule
Shit is absolutely amazing
😂❤
It feels real. Not like a cash grab by a heartless soulless record company. It's great. It's almost like Bradley never left.
Hella grateful ❤️
The nostalgia and the brightest moments of my younger years coming full circle in a moment with this. ❤
Im a 90s baby and it makes my soul smile to hear Bradley, its so awesome that icons in my life at a young age are still being remembered. We miss you brad!! Lou dog too.
Gen X all day here and here and hearing Brad's voice is a trip like....DJ!
Anyone like this within 5 seconds of hearing it? 🤙🏽
F to the yea!
It only took me 4.20 seconds to make me feel like dat'
Listening now bredren ❤
@@ericscheffing8216 that’s right ! Haaa
Lucky i live in san diego county where sublime and no doubt are always playing. Heard it on the radio and here i am
Lovely. Welcome back Bradley!

In spirit for sure brother !
May 25th, 1996. r.i.p to one of the greatest to ever do it !!!!
One love!!!!! This is amazing!!!! My teenage self is giddy! 14 to 41 and ever so grateful to you all for this magic!
It is so incredible to hear Jakob on an original Sublime song, singing with his dad no less. Thank you so much for the new music. Been a fan for decades. Can't wait to see where the band goes from here!!
Thank you Bradley, thank you Jakob! The revival of Sublime has been so surreal to experience, and this is just the beginning
@@mgm1018you forgot freddie mercury.
The biggest fans still suffer. Bradley truly was one of a kind
Absolutely 💯

I saw Sublime late 1995 and have loved them ever since ❣️ I’ve been loving Stick Figure for a few years now. This song hit me, made me cry🥲 Love you Bradley❣️ Thank you for this 🙏
Mannnn. This is so dope. Jakobs sounds just like his pops. Would be stoked if Stick and Sublime did an EP together.
Religion doesn’t bring joy. It brings fear, intolerance and too many atrocities to list. Music just affects your mood.
😂😭😂😭😂😭😂😭
@@ThatGuy-ht4spUm, from what I've seen, religion divides people far more than bringing people together. Music and religion should never be compared together. Music truly brings people together. Don't see too many people dying over music...
I knew one day something like this would come. Brad had so much music that was never released. I hear a bit of Eireen in this song, and some other stuff I've never heard from Sublime. There used to be a Wikipedia page of just Sublime bootlegs. There had to be 30 albums worth of them. Awesome collaboration, Stick and Sublime!
Heard pieces of this bootleg decades ago, to hear it put together so beautifully is incredible.
Long live Sumblime
Me too! Bud leaked it 2 years ago on UA-cam! ❤
@@Gaba.Grooveis that version still floating around anywhere?
Sure is! It’s hilarious 😂
@@echoesofopheliawould you happen to be able to point a fellow fan in the right direction? 😊 I’d love to hear it
@russmacc316 Man it was there yesterday! I was using it to learn the new song before it came out to do a cover with my acoustic! Perhaps the UA-cam Gods found it today with the launch of the song. 🤷♂️
Amazing hearing Brad again! Sublime lives on ! 💚
With tears in my eyes I thank you....
New Beatles AND new Sublime?!? What a great year for music!! This song rules!

Growing up in SoCal this Instantly took me back to 1992...40 oz. to freedom was a game changer! Sprinkle that mood with a little of that Stick Figure magic and you have an instant VIBE on your hands! Keep pushin' that positive vibe out Stick...love it!!!! 🤙
28 years after Bradley left. Takes me right back to my early 20s. Those were such good days. 🤙🏽
We miss you and your talent Bradley. Forever rocking Sublime as well as Stick figure. Thank you for all the awesome jams and love. 🙏🙏🙏
Ohhhhh my God.....Bradley Nowell is still alive!!!!! This is a dub/ska/rock resurrection almost a important as the bible!!!
You can’t get more sublime from 2:05 to 3:00 made my whole summer ty ✌️🤙
Let’s not forget how great of a producer J Cosmic is to put such great sound and artists together.
Yessss! FANTASTIC producer & group collab! 🙌
That's the crux of the whole story! He better get paid. That thing will go viral by midnight!
Such a Great Art

Sublime with Jakob feels / sounds right, organic, love it!
I just realized this is Jakob and Bradley, I got more chills
Sublime is deeply ingrained into my soul..so hearing them with one of my all time favs Stick Figure…well, it makes me wanna cry happy tears 🥹🥹🥹 literal MAGIC. Bradley coming thru strong ✊🏼
It’s so freaking good. The fact that I found Stick because of their love of Sublime is really a dream come true as a fan. Really hope they sing this song together at Fiddler in July 2024. So stoked.
Omg. Yes. This band had me at hello since 1996, and has remained my favorite. I tried so hard to get into the reincarnations... But Jakob is simultaneously channeling his dad and cutting ground for a new Sublime.... More Sublime... And I'm excited for the first time for more from them.
About to turn 43. 40oz to Freedom was one of my favorite tapes. Even still. Your dad is so proud of you, kiddo! Bring us more if you got it!
I liked it ! The beat captures a happy stroll as you listen.
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Long live Bradley Nowell and the Sounds of Sublime!!!
Sounds like....Sublime
GAVE ME CHILLS!!! I had to backtrack, once I heard Bradley’s voice. He would be soooo proud Jakob is in the band. Loved Sublime since 1996. I am 4 years clean from addiction. Keep the music coming guys, the new generation needs to know who y’all are! Much love, from GA!
Hell yeah! 💪
I can't listen to this without crying. The boys have been with me since I was a preteen and carried me through losing my own Dad at that age. Jakob, thanks for sharing your Dad with us all these years. Thank you for giving Brad back to us, and thank you for bringing your own gorgeous talents. Eric and Bud, you are still just as fucking cool as ever.
Well done Scott and gang. Great production of some iconic sounds.
This is amazing! What an amazing unbelievable story! Grew up with my very first cassette tape being the Sublime album in a walkman!
More Kid Nowell and OG Sublime !
SUBLIME forever!
So amazing. 🥲 “Your voice is so fly after all these years.”
❤️…… listening to sublime as a kid in LA in the 90s and through my adult years I’m almost 40 now my son listens to sublime. Hearing Jacob and Bradley together just brings it all full circle and puts a smile on this old man’s face
I’ll never forget jamming sublime in 1995. I was only 8 years old. Favorite band to this day! RIP Brad
45 year old me needed this!!! We lost Brad right after I discovered Sublime and hearing his son Jakob gives me cold chills!!
I read somewhere recently that everyone in the scene back in the day knew that Bradley was the best. Best at guitar and best at singing.
If you like this you’ll definitely like my band. Give us a chance ua-cam.com/video/FaPegLnaoPg/v-deo.htmlsi=K2TIQcZ8x9lnT6cc

Awesome. I'm 49 and I grew up with Sublime dudes. Diehard. Every project they've done since the loss of Bradley has been wicked. I appreciate every track. They keep it alive for Bradley. Bud and Eric have done a wicked ass job keeping it going
This song is fuckin dope. Can't believe Jakob sounds so much like his Dad too. Sublime music was a way of life for us at one point in time. And this song is just flooding me with memories. Wish my buddy Tommy was still around to hear this. Thank you for making this!!!
RIP Brad... Reminds me of the 90's and how many of your fans still relate. Never heard of Stick Figure but checking them out today and sounding good.
Oh you won't regret digging into stick figure!! There is a whole new world of music that all stems from sublime!!! Have fun finding the most amazing music ever

WOW!!! WE needed THIS in a bad way! This world's a complete mess r.n. Hearing father & son on an original track with the vibe ONLY Sublime can provide!! Your Dad's DAMN proud of you & the group!! Keep it coming, now we want and need more!! T.Y. To ALL of you!! P.s. Watching Coachella I had goose bumps. Well, more so hearing it. I didn't know hitting the studio was in the forecast. Am I a true Sublime fan? I wish I could post a pic of my Dalmatian "Mystic" I always wanted her to meet Lou, lol
Great Track! 100% R.I.P. Bradley your rhythmic poetry has definitely influenced my life, I'm certain his father would've been proud to see the talent and voice that resembles his own. It's as if his father blessed him with his own voice to continue the message!!! If you're listening to this song and in earnest, then I love you otherwise I don't know you.
It was everything I hoped it would be!!🔥🔥🔥🔥 EPIC!!! Feels like Bradley is still here.

I've been a massive Sublime fan since 2000 when I turned 14 and discovered them. Listening to this beautiful song just sent euphoric chills down my spine .

Bradley, you must be so proud shining down on all of us.. your boy is carrying the legacy on, and doing it so well. keep resting easy ✌🏼
“oh my God, it’s a relief!” so freakin cool, it’s so dope hearing Brad singing again
It's most righteous and awesome hearing Bradley spit new lyrics in 2024-his offspring is doing splendidly, as well.
Right?! ❤❤❤❤
I've been a fan since 2009. I'm so happy to see the success that they have had. Scott is insanely talented. The live shows are great and his dog is awesome. In a perfect world Scott and Bradley would have been able to write music together.
Hearing both the voice es together got me in the feels. I'm so happy Jakob is carrying it on for us. Keep the good vibes alive ✌️
This collaboration came from the soul of the galaxy. Thank you so much. Can't wait to see Cocoa this Summer tour.
