I have a Jayson tatum tutorial earlier this year with buttons! This one is more to showcase how to use the moves! But future videos in 24 will go back to tutorials with button prompts!
The animations are good, they’re just too slow which is not realistic at all. Hopefully pro play will speed up animations to match their irl counterpart
Yeah, I can see why a lot of people wont consider touching these as the speed disadvantage will really get to you. The work usually has to start early to generate space, but even then the risk of the slow wind up still will disincentivize people from performing these moves
the thing is players master tipple threat in real game cause if u give em an inch of space the gonna get to the rim and finish or get a foul , in 2k its not like that , u cant blowby near hoop with gold clamp breaker , somebody will drag another defender in paint while you dancin, even if u drive thru 2k will give u stupidiest layup animation with ball swated to the crowd lol , it looks cool , but sadly u got to cheese in this game(((
I think we’re slowly getting to the point where it will be viable! But the points you made are accurate, these types of moves need more work, and set ups in order to be effective. Really needs a lot of patience and willingness to make reads!
