Great List Eli, here’s my list.
1. OBD eleven pro
2. CR15 strut tower brace
3. differential/transmission bushing inserts
4. awe s flow intake (cheapest aftermarket intake with slight whine due to using stock air box)
5. Oil dip stick (hardly a mod but rather use it than computer sensors)
I have the ECS Strut Tower brace, but I've heard the CR15 is a much cheaper alternative that lots of people love!

can you do a maintenance update. like all maintenance updates you have and problems you have had. i’m asking this because i know someone who has a s4 and had miss firing problems and i know someone who has a s5 and it has transmission problems. both are b8.5. i wanted to get one and those where worrying me
I definitely can!
I just sold my MK5 GTI and picked up a B8 A4 S-Line. While it's not the Supercharged V6, it's basically the same thing besides that. I think good mods/upgrades is the Black Forest Industries Shift Knob, extended paddle shifters, RS front grille which you mentioned ($120 on eBay), and maybe a front splitter/lip. I have a ton of plans for mine but wanna keep it tasteful. Going for an aggressive and quick yet functional dad car.

aluminum pedals, ecode mod, red start/stop, trans insert, tune2air all cost under $100

what my a5 build over the years consists of, not in order
1 034 transmission inserts for smoother shifts
2 RS grill highly recommend that
3 quality intake it wonderful i have an injen intake
4 new exhaust AWE and a 034 high flow cat help if you have a turbo
5 small lip spoiler
6 new rims and tires
7 break pads red stuff is awesome for street use
8/ inter-cooler
and of course weight reduction so no back seats bc the A5 back seats can only fit children lol all my friends are over 6ft tall so its useless for me to have them in the car
and a carbon fiber hood bc i screwed mine up lol and it was cheaper then OEM some how
9/ and finally an IE stage 2 tune and my 2014 A5 is just as fast as a 2018 TTS faster if i use overdrive I tested this on the streets with a buddy so i went from 6.5 ish 0 to 60 to around 4.1 seconds and im loving every second of it
surprisingly i haven't had any oil leaks or reliability issues but it only has around 58k with oil changes every 3 to 5k
How much hp you getting out of that bad boy?
Was the quattro RS grill around 300 dollars on eBay. I looking too grab one
not worth doing an intake unless it's in the fender away from the heat. and that causes it's own issues.

Question to eli or any petrol head, I'm going from a range rover sport to an Audi a4, I haven't purchased yet but looking at it because of the awd and both having a lot of power. My question is, the v6 worth it more than having the l4? Is it easier to do upgrade mods on the l4 or v6? If I make sense, English it's my 3rd language and I struggle at times to make sense
Hey- I would suggest u get the S4 in 2013-2016 model years ( B8.5)..If possible try to get one with the Drive Select option and rear diff. A few bolt on mods and a stage 1 tune and you will be happy for a long time....just get one that was properly maintained (preferably with some warranty). You will not be disappointed!!
I’m having a lot of trouble just putting on the RS4 grille...esp taking the stock grille off the bumper...how long did it take you and what do you recommend in making this an easier process?
Julian Kim look up the video by deutche auto or something along the lines of that. Followed step by step and it took just a little over an hour because I had to use pliers and a socket since mine was too big to fit in. I also had to modify my grille a little bit by breaking a piece on each side that prevented a flush fit of the grille.
I'm more likely an A4 owner but 5 cheep mods so....
1. spoiler (lip) you can find one nice looking and cheep
2. downpipe not all of them expensive even for v6 and sound after 😊
3. lowering spring are cheep and can change a lot not only look
4. Tail lights wrap 6-12 % won't hurt and looks amazing

Painting 2 piston callipers makes me cringe
im sure you enjoyed painting ur 4 pot calipers on ur 2006 impreza
and if you know anything about cars, you will know floating calipers are just as good as even 6 piston calipers if u are just daily driving it and not tracking it.

I just sold my 01 B5 S4 and got a silver 2013 S4 DSG. (mys4.org). Just did a EPL tune and ported air box with a ECS tuning Cf intake pipe and love the sound/feel. Exhaust is coming next.

Blacking out the window trim
Doing a x-pipe and bigger exhaust tips is cheaper than a full exhaust system and makes a big difference
