PIT BOSS needs to update the SMOKE IT APP and the firmware via Wi-Fi! No excuse not to!
I have this exact same model and it needs a tighter temperature gradation!
I saw you have a sifter for your pellets. That’s a good idea.
I have the same unit. My internal temp is anywhere from 20 to 30 degrees off from what the temp on the display reads
I would contact their customer service and see if there's any fix for it. It might be covered under the warranty
trying to decide which one to buy... this one or the 850 or a camp chef
Why is the screen blinking so much? Is this normal? ALso, why doesnt Pit Boss put the INSIDE dimensions of this thing on their site? And the grate sizes? I was just on customer service and they had no idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess, If its sold at Wal Mart its junk
I think it was the camera and lighting causing the blinking. This particular model was at lowes and it has treated my family well. I have heard customer service has not been good. So hopefully I will never have to deal with them

Can't get mine to smoke up at all
Have you checked if anything is blocking it? Has been clean up? Also the top access way needs to be open all the way.
