so difficult to collect my thoughts....I am amazed, frightened, hopeful, feeling mortal, wanting to pray to some deity........I believe these are the emotions Maria and the band hope to elicit from the audience.........I can imagine these are EXACTLY the sounds made by pre-Christian Norse shaman, priests and warriors......I believe the language is an imagined proto-Germanic dialect.........they make their costumes and instruments.......
