This was my gateway show ….picked up the three cd set at Best Buy during a rough patch and had my life changed after repeated listens. Didn’t get it at first but you never really do.
I remember hearing parts of this on the Grateful Dead Hour broadcast on xrt in Chicago. The MLB jam never fails to bring tears of joy to my eyes, good ol' Grateful Dead. 🌹🍄💀🍄🌹
This band changed America. There will be no other quite like it. I worked the show they played this on. Kudos Card Counter. Great sound. I wonder if you were part of the crew who had special permission to record them. The Great Grateful Dead FYI is one of the only bands I learned to allow fans to do this. It was standing room only inside and out. Music playing out in the streets and parking lots. It was a party of peace and music. It was the concert that lasted 3 days; short of a Woodstock, and people actually Dozed all around the Knptum Arena in Albany. Dubbed in the urban dictionary by me to represent the new name combined with the old. The Knickerbocker Pepsi Times Union MVP Arena. (Ref 2) I never saw so many people camp out from all around the world. I saw many people sharing food, clothes, shelter. It made me think about what it might have been like for Jesus when he had gone away to grieve over his friend's death and people came from all around to be near him.(Ref.1) Matthew 14:13-21. He could have told them to leave him be. But shared his time with them. A little boy offered some bread and fish and that event turned into a miracle. John 6:8-10. With all of that said, to create a song to represent this area. Ahh, it gives me chills to know that I was there for part of that history. God Bless the Life the Dead brought out to live again. Peace be with you all. Mikolis 1.) www.bibleversestudy.com/johngospel/john6-jesus-feeds-5000.htm 2.) my.urbandictionary.com/add.php
