Are you talking about the singers? Disregarding the vocals, this arrangement of the music was performed excellently by the musicians in the band.

@@purpleprincess4881 I've always found the Strictly singers to be hit or miss, however my point was the band, as in the sitting musicians, absolutely smashed the score/music. I'll edit my original comment so it's intent is clearer.

In their defense, these lyrics were in Spanish, which not many people in England are familiar with. For people who likely had no background knowledge in Spanish, the singers did relatively well, even with just a couple mispronounced words.

I watched it on the telly last night and it was just as bad, it seems to be the case with all their pre-recorded dances
It is due to them only recording in 1080p. With everyone moving around and lots happening the quality physically can’t capture all of the details.
I really wish they wouldn't try to perform commercial choreography, it never works, they do not have that style in them. It hurts to watch them try.......

thank you, !y Spanish is not fluent and wouldn't necessarily win any rewards, but it's not as if the words are too difficult to pronounce right
@@lindamcgarrigle2577 Exactly, ALSO we CAN'T forget they had a week or more of noticed that they were going to sing that song... they could at least practice that part and EVEN they had a Spanish dancer; who I KNOW he didn't mind teaching them how to pronounce the countries correctly...

I thought Sunday’s show was live but it’s not it’s about 10 minutes behind it’s time disgusting we are led to believe it’s live
it’s filmed on Saturdays too, that’s why voting is only open for 30-45 minutes - they change outfits etc to appear filmed on Sunday, but nope all filmed on the Saturday
It's been filmed after the Saturday show for years now, I don't think they even try to make it appear live anymore

One of the worst oqening numbers I've witnessed on Strictly. The choreography was all over the place, incoherent and lacklustre. The dancing was uninspired and the music bland...
So it's not your cup of tea. But if you think the music is bland, get cher ears checked... or listen to the original broadway versions of the In the heights intro, In the Club, or Carnaval del barrio..

Why are decent programs being ruined. I loved watching strictly with the traditional man and woman pairing. I have stopped watching strictly now because its been ruined by the pairing of two women or two men together.
