- I stopped by the Wooldridge Boat's factory in south Seattle to see my good friend Grant Wooldridge, 4th generation boat builder. Grant mentioned that they had a couple of boats that they were outfitting with premium Mercury power and I just had to see what they were up to. Wooldridge Boats has a long and storied boat building history in the Pacific Northwest and Grant is carrying on the tradition with hard work, honesty, and a lineup of amazing Wooldridge welded aluminum boats.

The little landing crafts are great... the only problem is i never think they are "wide enough". Equinox makes something called the ATV EMS Transport. its 123” long, 48" wide. Designed to be towed behind a snowmobile or quad. it will hold 1-2 medical staff + 1 full length stretcher. the down side is... to get it down rivers the craft would effectivly have to be wide enough to handle 2 atv's side by side...
