Pred has been carrying a GOOD few games during major 1 and 2 like I said. This was against the best team aswell. It makes you wonder if they don’t win a Major or Champs this year, and Pred continues to struggle, if you keep Dashy, Kenny, Shotzzy, and then sign Hydra in free agency since he’s in a contract year. Watching Optic play hardpoint is awful. It genuinely feels like they play 3v4 around the hill setting up rotations when you look at the minimap. You have Kenny and Dashy in their spots, Shotzzy holding spawns, and then Pred is mid map running around looking for people, which bites them in the ass so many times. When we got Pred, I was happy because he had a Scump like play style, which should pair with Shotzzy, because Scump knew when to slow down and when to push, but it feels like Pred’s timing is off with that. Might be a faded read, but that’s what I’ve noticed, and Hydra/Shotzzy probably would give you the best sub duo to copy the Simp/Abe sub archetype duo, with the slay potential to rival them. Or if Kenny ends up wanting to go back to LAT, or team up elsewhere, you can try Pred on a flex too, which may help with his pacing and he can also beam with an AR

The Karachi hardpoint was the most I've been frustrated with Optic (and there are plenty of times they are frustrating). They have the gunskill to beat any team (including Faze) but they lose their shape and lose composure too easily. So many times in that hardpoint match they are solo chalking and not playing together. The fundamentals have been better since Kenny joined but they slip back to their old ways when under pressure. The reason they choked the end of matches vs Faze multiple times this season
Do we know if he’s playing from a different location? Like we’ve only seen him play online so far. If he’s as bad at the major sure he deserves the slack. But Vegas being Vegas may have these players in different locations which can explain these performances.

I said it on a way earlier Rab video it’s because of Shotzzy Pred isn’t playing as good. It’s insanely hard for everyone to fry and Kenny and Shotzzy have been the best 2 players for them. Not to say Pred and Dashy haven’t been good and had their moments but Pred is used to being THE superstar and rn he’s not THE superstar and he’s trying to adjust his play style according to how Shotzzy plays because you’re not making Shotzzy change he’s been your best player arguably. Once Pred fully figured out how to accommodate Shotzzy he’ll be back to superstar form

I think OPTIC just looks for to many kills at times and push out on a rotation way to far sometimes. I said it on a way earlier Rab video it’s because of Shotzzy Pred isn’t playing as good. It’s insanely hard for everyone to fry and Kenny and Shotzzy have been the best 2 players for them. Not to say Pred and Dashy haven’t been good and had their moments but Pred is used to being THE superstar and rn he’s not THE superstar and he’s trying to adjust his play style according to how Shotzzy plays because you’re not making Shotzzy change he’s been your best player arguably. Once Pred fully figured out how to accommodate Shotzzy he’ll be back to superstar form

Bro....asim is a system player, a role player he will play whatever way his team and coaches want him to. Could he win more gunfights yes. But i firmly believe he is getting shit on because of the way his coaches want him to play. We saw him playing in this game and he was shooting!! Only thing thats changed is the style hes being forced to play. I still blame the coaching staff ...which is the worst coaching duo in the league yet no one has once talked about that narrative? System cant fix a players ceiling. Asim is a top 12 pro/top of challengers player, if you put him into the faze lineup for drazah does asim become better? No, he just has the 3 best players in the game making him look better but his personal skill ceiling remains the same.

I think OPTIC just looks for to many kills at times and push out on a rotation way to far sometimes. Don't get me wrong I understand if you push out and get the kills they spawn deep in this game but OPTIC doesn't get the kills most of the time and it makes the hills so much harder on them when if they would just rotate and play as a team on the first wave of kills then push out it would be so much easier for these guys
