I think it’s funny that you mentioned Green Light’s production sounded like club music or a house party. Lorde has actually said that the concept of the album is being at a house party, and each song represents how your emotions (surrounding love/heartbreak, etc.) change throughout the night.
Here's some fun facts about Melodrama: - They say that in the chorus of ''The Louvre'' you can literally hear Lorde's heartbeat. The beat you hear after the ''Broadcast the boom, boom, boom, boom and make 'em all dance to it'' is her actual heartbeat. - Melodrama was the only female album nominated for ''album of the year'' at the 2018 Grammys. The only female artist nominated among big name artists like Jay z, Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar. - Lorde has a very peculiar neurological condition called 'synesthesia', which allows Lorde to see colors through sounds. It could be said that each melodrama song is coded with a different color. - Melodrama is considered one of the best albums of the century and of the decade. Its influence is so great that several artists were inspired by the album 💙
Cara esse álbum é muito foda. LORDE é umas das poucas artistas mulheres que são reconhecidas pelos seus trabalhos bem feitos e não por polêmicas, namorados e músicas hipadas em tik tok.
❤️ Some album recommendations (😅 this is a bit overwhelming), Troye isn’t a female artist though, but it is a new release so the stats might do well. 0️⃣ Beyonce’s Renaissance 1️⃣ Halsey’s album “if i can't have love i want power (EXTENDED) ” is a great (a bit metal/rock) album, the live album performance is super. From 2 to 5, these albums are all a bit experimental. 2️⃣ Rosalia’s Motomami album is another great one to listen to. 3️⃣ FKA twigs’ Magadalene, LP1, Caprisongs 4️⃣ Shygirl’s Nymph 5️⃣ Sudan Archive’s Natural Brown Prom Queen 6️⃣ Charli XCX’ Crash 7️⃣ Hikaru Utada’s Bad Mode 8️⃣ Ellie Goulding’s Higher Than Heaven (Deluxe) 9️⃣ Troye Sivan’s Something to Give Each Other

Wow, so far it’s weird that I’ve never heard of this album before, it sounds great. I’ll listen to it on my spare time, but so far now that I watch this video it’s like an 8+ to a 9/10 for me.
wow, you are SO underrated. i guess i’ll give a suggestion! listen to the ep “eat your dreams” by nelward. i love it, and i’ve listened to it like 20 times the past week
I laughed when you didnt know hoe to pronounce 'Louvre' and even more when you said you didnt know it. Fyi it is possible the most famous museum of the world. It is in Paris and you can see the famous painting 'Mona Lisa' there. It is also the biggest museum of the world. The entire Album tells one love story from catching feelings to more complex situations later.

I’m pretty sure I’ve heard of it before or learnt about it but istg when I record late at night my brain is just mush
@@KnightReacts Sadly that's basically what's happening to everyone nowadays, mainly because of the internet.
Eh not really that just when ever I record late I lose focus and forget a lot of things
@@KnightReacts I was just mentioning that fact that's all.
