for those of u who havent played legend in mlb the show its always like that square it up w good timing, out, swing completely out of the pci, hit a tank this has been the way for years
With NCAA coming out this summer, they don’t have much time to save themselves before losing the player base earlier than usual tbh
the overpowered pitching in 21 was purely the fact that pinpoint was op imo. they didn’t have the par for the pitches, sinkers and offspeed weren’t punished for pitching them up in the zone, etc

honestly, going back to 21 with that Jacob Degrom card, I never had any issue with just how nuts he was. this was the year where he had nearly the greatest first half for a pitcher in years (arguably ever) and SDS actually made his stats match his performance which is something that I don't think that they do very often

I completely agree with everything you are ranting about. I have stopped playing diamond dynasty whenever I get on the game. Me and my friends play custom leagues against each other or I just play franchise. They do need to improve dd this year

I said it on Chev’s content review, but I have to believe the pack-focused approach is because they didn’t make as much $ on people buying the game initially (due to ‘23 Sets and Seasons backlash), so they’re trying to make up for it with stub purchasing for above tier cards

The only reason I haven't been upset of screamed about the pack content is I'm giving them the benefit of hoping we see some of these packs as rewards along the reward paths tomorrow. If not, well yeah then we know they decided to stop being a fun possibly NMS game to, hey want better cards well give us more money for a game that is still broken when it comes to some aspects
They could’ve released some fun programs for the drops though, which is incredibly disappointing

You know what’s crazy? If the final TA drops are 99’s I’d probably wait until that releases to play. You get 30 99’s. I’m sure those cards won’t be 99 cracked but nonetheless 99’s. They have been way off this year to start. I’ve never felt so unmotivated to play mlb. RS is abysmal with how inconsistent everything is

Holy shit I faced the exact same dude yesterday and it played out almost identically. Same tight low score, a fuckin 2 run bomb in the 9th gave me my second lost and it was my WS game. I thought it was gonna be easy money cuz his lineup wasn't all that intimidating.

A show classics program would be incredible, there’s so many options of fan favorites from the past that people would absolutely love and the discourse around yesterdays content drop would go from people being pissed to SDS being praised for an awesome content drop. People misconstrue our frustration as people being pissed about good cards being in packs, that’s not a problem, it’s that you can’t get these without stubs or getting lucky in a pack. And it’s not easy to make stubs unless you want to spend your entire time playing this game flipping, which sucks. SDS is going to kill the game and people will just stop buying it.

Honestly, I've stopped playing. It's very boring this year and as everyone has said, is just P2P this year more so than others. Not to mention their only content drops seem to be TA and that's it. Been playing a bunch of franchise lately.

Fr, like I know the last 2 years haven't been the best MLB the Shows but at least they put these special packs in programs for both online and offline. This is just fucking ridiculous, especially basically locking certain cards from basically the topps now moments leading into the player of the month BEHIND PACKS with no way to acquire one except by buying it in the shop.
