Here are two stories about my trips to dolly parton's dixie stampede between 2011 and 2021
The first time I been to dolly parton's dixie stampede was in November of 2011. My aunt drives with my grandma and my other aunt in her Tahoe to our house to meet us at 12 PM to go to dolly parton's stampede christmas show. We go to McDonald's first and I get a Puss in Boots wind up toy in my Happy Meal. We go to dolly parton's stampede and my friend (who was six) was there with her mom. We watch the whole show and see the sugar plum fairy bring toys to life and that was my favorite part but at one point I notice my mom cry laughing and by the end Santa comes by in his sleigh and I yell at him as loud as I could that I want a Beauty and the Beast storytelling Belle doll and I didn't think he could hear me and by the end my friend goes straight to sleep. We go to Walmart and I buy my birthday presents there. I buy two Cabbage Patch Kids and a new Baby Alive doll and even my very first lalaoopsy doll and I even search for that beauty and the beast doll I asked Santa for at dolly parton's stampede and that doll wasn't there.
The second time I been to dolly parton's dixie stampede was September of 2021 and that was the western show. my mom wakes me up in my room shouting "YEE-HAW!". We piled in the family's '99 Suburban and go to dolly parton's stampede since me and my mom hadn't been in 10 years. We watch the show and after this we go straight home when it turns night. Next day later my mom goes to the doctor for something wrong with her and that very night has a serious stroke in our hallway and goes to a hospital far away in a helicoptor and my dad thinks we shouldn't go back to dolly parton's stampede again because he thinks the strobe lights gave my mom a stroke.
Bro I’ve been there before with my Fam so fun!
It was definitely a time!
Did you see any stuffed animals in that gift shop?.
I went and I won a medal for chasing chickens
I remember that part!
That changes my mind to deciding I am going to go now.
It was a LOT of fun
People are claiming show is extremely racist! Anyone???
Not racist per se, however they are under representing the history of the civil WAR. It was over slavery. Period.
@@mattlogue1300that is not true period. What is wrong with you. Please read more if you are capable
going in november thanks for an excellent video
Hope you enjoy it!
Just left my first show in Branson, Mo and true story I swear! The large family sitting in front of us brought their OWN TUB OF BUTTER!!!! that's all I'm going to say about that. In short, my wide eye 10yr old loved the show and couldn't stop laughing! and my male teen wanted no part of it.
Believe it or not in high school our school planned a field trip to go see the show. I had actually seen it before when I was around 10 years old so I knew what to expect.. But the whole time we were headed there on the school bus every one was acting up saying "why are we even doing this" "this is gonna suck"... Man was everybody in for a surprise. A few of my classmates actually got selected to participate in a couple of the acts and as we were walking out everyone was pretty much in shock with how amazing it was. I want to go again as an adult I loved it so much. The food is absolutely amazing and the show is even better. Great times! Glad you got to experience it!
Excellent video! So much fun. What did you like most about the show??
The food was delicious and plentiful, and the show itself was amazing. Great fun for the whole family
@@LeroyTylerI liked that part too
Oooooohhh kay... 😢
Ty
Why would any adult, that’s not over the age of 65, actually enjoy this. The only people that enjoy this are simpletons!
you must be so stuck up to comment this. I have been many times and enjoyed it, people like other things and just because someone enjoys something does not mean they are simpletons. So, take your crappy opinion elsewhere if you don't enjoy it and that's your problem but don't make others feel terrible about what they enjoy.
