3 f'ing years for killing your unrestrained 2 year old cause you were TOO DRUNK to drive and to put them in their seat properly is BS! She wants to wait on her mom before she gives consent to do shit at the hospital, why didn't she wait on her mom to pick her up wherever she decided to get drunk at instead?! Screw her and the judge that sentenced her.

Good for you, buddy! Dads are parents too, and a lot of times, the safer one. My ex husband has "primary" custody only because I left, didn't make as much money, and didn't want to change our children's school/home so we both agreed he would be primary even tho we have 50/50 custody. BUT I totally agree that dad's have as much right to be primary as a mom, and ESP if there's abuse of ANY kind!

Was this in England? Very hard for a Dad to get custody of the kids here.

Things like not letting my kids go to the park with other kids, not allowing overnites till they were old enough to know our home number, full nams and addresses, eating healthy, etc etc etc... to me thats just called parenting. There is no such thing as be over protecting your most VALUABLE Persons in your life.

I get told this a lot as well. My therapist tells me I need to let my kids be more independent and on one hand I get that bc i had a mom that was an alcoholic and there was a lot trauma there but at the same time I let them be themselves and teach them to be independent. I just don’t let them go to sleep overs until they are old enough to have phones. They don’t go to daycares or pre school until they can speak clearly to me that something isn’t right. I have a 15 year old that’s on track and we don’t let her run alone in the park. My youngest is 4 and she hasn’t spent a single night away from me yet. I’ll be damned if someone ruins my children’s innocence and childhood!! When my youngest plays outside even with older cousins… I watch. Maybe I am a little over protective but I have to be in this world!

The mom using the excuse she was abused as a child ... well did she like it and that's why it's o.k.? I hope they never get him back ever they don't deserve to be parents and if they get him back what will they do to him to keep him quiet and not tell on them again. @23:50 I don't think it was mentioned in this video, but I have come across other vids with this body cam footage. The specific reason her 7 year old son was in "a lot of trouble" the previous night was because, apparently, he was expected to be responsible for his two toddler aged brothers while they were out playing on a trampoline (*without adult supervision*) and the 7 year old left to go back inside the house.. without his brothers.. because he is a *child*. So he was denied dinner and then put in this situation the next morning because HE'S ONLY 7 AND DIDN'T PROPERLY SUPERVISE HIS LITTLE BROTHERS!? So basically he didn't do his mother's job for her. Horrible and sad excuse of a "mother". Sometimes parents can provide the kids with what *appears* to be a happy+healthy life, on the outside, just so they can ignore all of their parental duties behind closed doors to prioritize themselves. Plus the fact she was literally passed out in bed while the neighbours, strangers further down the road and the police who even entered her home and searched it while yelling out announcing their presence..

I don't have any myself but I'd save all of them.. even if I'm not a mother at least they'd be safe.. I don't think that you necessarely need to be a mom to care for a child. As long as you give them love and protection from harm, you're a mother even if you're not related.
All that been said.. I just hope that if they end up within the CPS or DHS or whatever... that those organisations will be kind loving and human to these babies.. and they won't find themselves in families that will abuse them even more like many horror stories we keep hearing..

I'm actually childless by choice for a few reasons, one being that I'm well aware that being a good parent is a full-time, lifelong job & I've never felt quite comfortable enough with myself to bring an innocent soul into this world. That being said, I wish there was some way to ensure that people who choose to have children (for whatever reason) are capable & responsible enough to actually raise them properly. Unfortunately, it's unethical to restrict a person's right to breed, yet we require testing & licenses or specialized degrees to hold certain jobs, drive different types of vehicles & to practice medicine (all things I absolutely agree are necessary).

they were more than likely called but he might have not been taken out of the home. for the most part when cops get involved with children they have to contact CPS or DCFS because they are mandated reporters like teachers, coaches, school officials ect.

ALL KIDS SLEEP UNATTENDED when they are in their OWN ROOMS! ESPECIALLY at ages 2,3 & up! Once the baby is out of the CRADLE, and can cling out of the CRIB, they SLEEP UNATTENDED!! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️. I SEE NOTHING WRONG with the 2 little boys, SOUND ASLEEP IN THEIR OWN BEDS as long as there IS AN ADULT IN THE HOUSE!!!! I DO NOT CONDONE the older boy BEING FORCED TO GET HIMSELF TO SCHOOL! SHE IS THE ADULT, THE MOTHER, SHE NEEDS TO ACT LIKE ONE AND QUIT FORCING HER GRADE SCHOOL KID TO TAKE THE ROLL OF THE PARENT!! 😡. HE IS A KID!! LET HIM BE ONE!! OTHERWISE this kid is going to RESENT the responsibilities and start ACTING LIKE AN ADULT, DRINKING, SMOKING, PARTYING, CURSING, SEX.... OR ARE THOSE ONLY FOR THE REAL PARENTS, HE CAN'T BECAUSE HE HAS A KID!? STUPID THEORY!! IMO!! SHAME ON THIS WOMAN!!! 😡

Any parent who says it's their job to make their kid scared is a pathetic parent, you can't do your job right so you resort to threats and yelling and violence and fear, then when your kid starts doing things 'right' because they're terrified every day you pat yourself on the back and call yourself a good parent. You're a monster is what you are

As for the "parents" shown in the video... some people are extremely lucky to have children! Unfortunately they shouldn't because they don't know what an amazing and important thing having children is! Coming from someone who was told that will never be able to have biological children... believe me, I would cherish a little baby! And those lowlives are abusing them and don't care for one bit... Horrible

That first one: ma'am, you are an ADULT. Whatever suggestions your MOM gives you, whether that be yes you can search her car or no you can't search her car are both going to end up with the same conclusions. They've already found your drugs, which is probably what she's most worried about at this time, especially if it's fentanyl. If she's an addict she's going to start showing the signs pretty quick.
Also, Craighead is only two letters away from Crackhead 🤣😂
The older gentleman who's trying to "help" the conversation needs to back off. It's like, everytime he opens his mouth the kid doesn't want to start talking again and it's like the kid keeps taking on step forward and two steps back. Like, I understand you're trying to help, sir, but it doesn't seem like your presence is giving this kid any sort of ease. The police officer will talk to you after he's done interviewing the kid to get all of the missing details, you don't need to fill them in as the kid is talking. It seems like, from an early age, the child was taught to fear police officers and to not trust them, which wouldn't be too far gone. HIs mom probably drilled it into him so that she could continue carrying on whatever she wanted to do without the fear of her kid ratting her out. But this detective (or police officer) is slowly starting to gain his trust and then the adult opens his mouth and suddenly the kid is like, "I don't remember" or "I don't know" after he started a sentence about to tell him the extent of the abuse.
The fourth one, I'm all for getting mom the help she needs but how does the father not know what school his son goes to'??

I jst can't understand how people when they are sober can contemplate even thinking about taking that first drink when they know they are going to drive let alone drinking that first drink with or without children in their car.. if your that desperate for a drink hand over your keys to somebody before you put your child's life at risk or someone else's life... If I was a driver there would be no chance in hell i would have even one drink, iv been out with freinds before now for lunch with my 7year old grandaughter and the driver was wanting a glass of wine with her dinner and i had said there was absolutely no way I was going to get back into their car if they had that wine, they responded to a glass of wine was fine and was ok and within the legal limit for driving here in the UK, but i knew the driver would not jst be happy to quit with jst that one so after we ate lunch I decided to get a taxi back home, the driver was not amused and thought it was quite funny I did so but I didn't care I wasn't going to take that risk with my grandaughter, as far as I'm concerned if your going to drink then don't drive full stop

I was disciplined with a kettle cord and anything else that my parents found handy lol. Even had a wooden broom handle broken on my back aged 12. I didn't do that to my children but they were punished by a slap around the legs or a flick on the ear. Didn't have to discipline much, they were good kids and now adults. My late daughter once thanked me for providing definite boundaries. Her kids are wonderful and talented. The main trauma they have had was her dying at age 44, but they got through it. I am very proud of all of them.
