QUESTION... KIND OF... I really enjoyed not just this content but the content of this particular video, will done and I really appreciate how you went from beginning to end of this project. With that being said what I enjoyed most in particular of all, is you mentioning the height and proportion. Because this has been probably, the biggest "in road block" between me and starting on my own terrain.I would really love to see a video or just a minute or two at the end of the video or you just kind of give a quick overview if you will, of terrain like, if you're going to be doing this piece of that piece it should be this length. feel free to not worry about answering this one on vid I just more wanted you to see it, also is this type of info already available in patreon because if so then problem-solve right there I'll just go check it out on patreon.
For rivets, you could use the small circular pieces found on sprues. I've seen some models do this in the past. Not sure about scale if they will fit in, however.
Loving this new format! So similar to my first castle/fortress format! Except I just used solid chunks of Styrofoam from old packaging, as it already has a rough edge, but I used the cardboard cutouts as brick/stonework as well. I then just brushed on a layer of plaster to add texture, then a basic single colour grey with some dry brushing highlights. I made a complete castle & keep, so it was glued to a board, and added heaps of balsa wood walkways, stairs, waterwheel etc as I made a lot of model gliders back then (30 yrs ago...damn I'm old) and I used postal tubes as my turrets. Definitely the easiest way to start off. That and simple paper mash for Hills or the landscape meeting the edge of the outside of the keep. Again, add a layer of plaster, paint, then just sprinkled on the then still overpriced grass from a hobby shop. I wish I knew the trick of using cork for rocks back then...
Yup same. I cut colone 1"2 by 3/4 height of the wall that I put every 3 inch. Make like old fortress solicitation structure and use it on the tower to insert my wall in it. So they stop moving when playing. Like a huge Lego at the edge. Sad I can't put pic here. My fists castle with breaches is perfect gaming context
Question: can you tell us about your first warhammer 40k project that you did and how it went. What lessons you learned from it and if you had any help. How old you were at that time…etc. maybe a whole video about it might be cool. Just thinking.
Did you covered Tuska the demonkilla before? I'm curious if his story continues one day after his shinanigans on the demonworld. Also do you have info if a model of him exist? I couldn't find one in the previous ork codex edition.
Question this question often plagues me and I don't really understand but did a legion fight together all as one group or were they spread out amongst different regions also keep up the great content!
Both. Each of the legions was composed of dozens of smaller exploratory fleets that were spread out exploring the galaxy. If greater force was required to subdue a system then what that small fleet had then multiple exploratory fleets from that legion or the entire legion or even multiple legions would be assembled to deal with it before splitting up again.
for some reason only thing that comes to mind that kinda close from fantasy is Grigor Ironhide and 40k is gatsgull mag thrakka sry for terrible spelling lol.

Because from what I understand ork gods are different altogether than the chaos gods but still can imbue their powers somehow or some orks are just special and can tap into it or are just stronger somehow.
Cause gw never got their act together enough to actually make the movie they made decent…. We’ll see how the tv show goes and maby we’ll be lucky in another decade

Maybe pre-painting tiny nails or tacks, and then pushing into terrain, might work for rivets(?)
