i live in northern alabama, an EF 5 touched down less than 7 miles from my house. looks like you got some of what we did
Very interesting video
You must live really close to me... i had the same stuff today
0:25 sounds like an SRN 2001
Judging by the cut-off of the video there, I'm guessing it didn't go so well. :D
This is 👍 good
Around here in Texas they would turn on the sirens if there was a tornado or if the winds in a storm are close to or above 70mph. I don't know about other places though.
I'm hearing a FS 2001 siren
Grain truck @ 5:25 WooHoo!! Any plans to tackle that again this summer?
Haha very funny video at the end love it.
Bizzarfurhead is always a crack-up, makes youwonder if he's really like that or if it's an act for the camera, LOL. Never a dull moment at the farm (or wherever the 'Furhead is).
cool i want a mower like that. lol at the end.
the sirens at 2:09 sounded almost musical...
@ChiefLeftenant Oh I watch his channel all the time. The sounds I am hearing remind me of some of the Siren Ambiance videos I have posted on YT, using a cell phone.
The keykeeper has more guts then I do, because I wouldn't have even attempted to do that. You guys could get the ramps that are on the semi trailers for loading equipment, if they can handle an excavator a tractor shouldn't be an issue.
For Sirens I'm hearing Federal Signal 2001 Series sirens or High Tone (Chopper level 6 or 7) Thunderbolt 1000s, or a mix of both.
Thunderbolts are usually yellow and have a long square horn.
2001s are usually white/gray and have a short, round horn.
I whant that tractor with that mowing deck . :)
Sounds like some sort of Whelen product.
so did the keykeeper make it up the ramp?
I went thry the worst tonado in history in aprial 3 1971 in KY the tornado wiped out all the trees in the huge park I was in the park fishing at the age of 13 in the creak ran to the 10 foot storm drain that went back miles but lucky it had a ladder 5 feet in I seen the tornado go by roads were packed with trees and wires I got home big 80 foot tree fell on our house of of damage several folks killed I am in upstate NY and had some ruff weather in the last few days My house has a big basement
A cliffhanger !
Looks like you need to clean the gutters out.
Do you normally get tornado's in your area?, You need a good shed to store those tractors in, They are nice old classics
@Joseph9536 Yeah I was about a half mile from the Tornado. I have a video on my channel of it passing.
That storm looks identical to the one that did damage to one of our family farms in DeWitt County, Illinois. Pretty close to the town of Farmer City. We lived near LeRoy and that storm certainly made our trees become quite animated.
you say you saw dust being kicked up? sounds to me like there was some updrafts.
I love the sirens. When I was a kid in Wichita we had 1950s era air raid sirens, they tested them once a month and of course used them for every tornado warning. They sounded awesome in polyphonic surround, that sound is ingrained into my childhood. I was sad to learn that Wichita is phasing them out. They still have them but from what I heard they don't maintain them anymore, as they break down they're getting replaced with boring modern sirens. Boo.
I'm hearing what seems to be like Federal Signal 2001's (white, short round horns, high pitched) and maybe a Thunderbolt 1000 (high pitched, chopper level 7), which have long, square horns. Maybe an ASC RM-130 too. Which are gray and have something that looks like a "pie" in the middle of their projector horns. Awesome video!!
+MOStormChaser They have two (that I have seen) FS 2001s and uxwbill is roughly the same distance from both of them. There is also a Model2 next two one of the FS2001s, I have no idea what, if anything it's used for.
wow polycrapoline is incredibly crappy!
That siren sounds like a Federal 2001 series siren at ~ 0:20. They are Ok i suppose, but they are too high pitched for my liking. The old sirens from the cold war era had that roar to them that commanded your attention and basically screamed "take cover". The new ones just don't sound like that.
im guessing it didn't go as planned... 7:17 :(
i stayed during catrina not fun no power for 4 weeks
love your videos
Is that an Allis Chalmer!?
Man I love storm videos.
What kind of video camera were you using to film this video?
Marshall
asc t-128s and fs 2001s
Lol " if any or our trees get a little aminated, I know what you mean."
Impressive 2001. It sounds much more eerie in the distance.
We had a pretty bad one two days ago. I'll have to upload the short clip of the really dark clouds from yesterday too.
@Buchoass They've been doing the same kind of ionospheric research in Norway since 1975 and in Russia since 1981, so HAARP is nothing new.
is that a farmall cub your on bill ??
Now this is what i call an exciting video, Thank you very much for your awsome content William, it keeps me cheered up.
Are there many Tornados in Illinois?
does that crawler work?
where is the siren? can you show us that one day
LOL makes me wish i had brothers
We got hit and we got hit BAD 25% of my city is gone.
Polycrapoline, known as PCL, a substance invented by uxwbill, and it made me lulz :P
@jkltg60 *katrina
@uxwbill Yes they are but with 1billion watts, enough to move clouds, it's nuts but, I too do not get into politics but, like to stay informed and only believe little bits of the conspiracy. You are a great person, I am glad we connected on YT I love your good energy and your videos. Just B.
@roblok23 Be careful what you wish for! haha
Interesting, we had a tornado warning issued for my area on the same day. The storm that hit my area produced a few weak, short-lived tornadoes, along with wind gusts up to 100mph.
Also, did your attempt to get the tractor in the barn work?
Research HAARP high altitude aurora research program. Scary stuff! Just B.
Nice vintage streetlight at 0:32... and that sounded like a Thunderbolt siren, appropriately enough. And is that a radio station with those towers behind the farm?
