I would love to see how yujis modern interpretation of shrine continues to differ from sukuna. I wanna see his fuga become an air fryer
I can accept an Air Fryer, so long as it isn't a microwave
I feel like electricity/lightning could be acceptable due to his cutting appearing like it comes from a computer
But Yuji putting Sukuna on 1000w for 3min would be absolutely peak fiction!! Maybe like that, Yuji can show Sukuna love by eating him afterwards, and then saying "needs a little bit more salt"
Either that or like some say a "microwave" maybe yuji instead of making a flame arrow is able to rise the internal tempetature of something he touches or at range, being able to set things ablaze without even touching it,just like jogo's introduction in the bar
@@baligong3592 spoilers for chainsawman
nahhh why "Yuji showing love to Sukuna by eating him" reminded me of denji and makima
My theory is that maki, toji, and gojo see dismantle in the same way. Its like catching an invisible person because theyre leaving footprints in the sand or snow. Dismantle is straight up invisible, like not just scientifically, but also through CT magic. Gojo is used to seeing all the details of pretty much anything in front of him. He was probably tripping out over why he cant see that thing he knows is coming. The air probably changed, maybe a breeze instantly stopped, or his eyes detected a gap in all the air particles etc.
This is in my opinion the biggest moment for explaining dismantles properties. Its a blade like line of CE that flies very fast TOWARDS an enemy, meaning its basically a solid object, just very thin, fast, and literally invisible. This is why it can miss, why people can dodge it, why people can deflect or redirect them.
Ever since Kenjaku mentioned the concept of Concept based Techniques, I think it was clear Sukunas technique strength HAS TO be output dependent. Shrine can't do something like select a target and make their body split apart. He doesn't have a JoJo's type ability. Concept types are kinda reality altering/imagination based. Gojo creates and deletes things from existence. UiUi plays with ideas that sound like boxes and their contents...makes them disappear and reappear in different boxes because...he likes magic shows?
Takaba creates places, people and clothes..so long as he thinks it's funny.
Yuki played with real world mass, but only the concept, hence why it was called imaginary mass.
This would also explain why he couldn't see the world cutting slash coming. It cut through everything, even air, ergo it didn't push it away, so Gojo might have literally not been able to see it.
Maki can't see the slash. She just knows it's coming because of the disturbance it creates in air around it . She can judge it's trajectory because of it. She isn't dependent on CE lik gojo is. CE obviously can't see em. Simple.
You’re probably right on the money. Cause even as he said it I realized maki and kusakabe are probably seeing it the same way (just detection really) which made me at least consider that, even if gojo can’t see the actual dismantle itself, he can for sure see the air around it…… same as them.
@@xochimalliyou’re also probably dead freakin right. Although when it comes to the shrine part of what you said, remember he supposedly made a binding vow on himself so he becomes the shrine (essentially) so that way he CAN choose a target to split because IT can’t. It also applies to Fuga with its speed/ power output. He apparently sealed it to make it better. Bros iq is devious😂
See, the reason Yuji's cleave and dismantles are scissors compared to Sukuna's blades is a reference to Gege saying Yuji can't cook, stand ashamed.
But he can though it’s stated in the anime at least
Why compare with a kid who has few months experience vs a guy who had more then 50 years of experience.
I know this is a little random, but i need to tell someone. Something I'm surprised we never saw in JJK is some sort of collaborative Domain Expansion. What I mean by this is instead of having 2 domains clash when their open at the same time, what if we got to see them have their sure hits active at the same time within a shared Domain. This would probably take ridiculous CE control and barrier mastery, but it would've been cool to see
Hmm, I am not to sure if that's possible but it would be cool to see
It ain't possible tho. The more refined domain dominates the space and if both are refined equally then both should damage each other to the point where the opposition can't maintain his barrier.
Sharing a domain seems a cool idea but canonically impossible
@psychic800 true, but one can dream😭
@@psychic800it should be possible with a binding vow and high enough barrier mastery/teamwork
Imagine Yuji and Todo double domain where a bunch of Takada’s clap their hands to activate boogie Woogie while you’re being hit with soul shrine. Actual hell on earth
Output definitely affects dismantle, Yuta directly states due to Sukuna’s Output being lowered they can survive dismantle and heal with RCT , he says this after being hit with them otherwise they’d be killed in 1 attack.
Yuji probably has an ice arrow, with his cleaves and dismantles being able to precisely slice and dissect things with the ice arrow preserving things like a frozen dinner.
I personally wish that shrine had more aspects to it outside of Cleve dismantle and the flame of Kamino
Agreed
Yeah remember when we thought the shrine mouth was to eat people and what was spit out where all those skull remains
People want sukuna to have every ability in fiction lmao
@@TheEternalFlame57disagree. It’s exactly what it’s supposed to be. What else would we be wanting? 10:05 is that not enough of an extra thing? He’s can attack existence itself😂
Like what else was there to add
I think there's a slight misconception for the soul damage part. Yuta says that Rika needs to eat a portion of the body technique he wants to copy. Also people have been able to heal off Sukuna's dismantle. So it's more likely that Yuta and inamaki staged the injury to betray the higher ups since he's been using Cursed Speech since th culling games.
But didn't he also use cursed speech involume 0? Or is that because he could still use rika's full strength?
10:30
Perfect sphere has no peer
NGL i honestly thought yuji shrine was shown to be scissors was because he was using a more controlled and precide version of shrine as compared to sukuna using it as a deadly weapon he wasn't exactly able to do so due to everybody else around him making him having to use it in a safer way
Gojo would probably somewhat see it. Gojo's six eyes basically allow him to see the cursed energy of dismantle.
It obviously can't see them, Meaning it's invisible to even that. Probably some wavelength on the em spectrum that the six eyes can't see.
@@Owen-sx4jj a cursed technique uses cursed energy. Anything cursed energy related will be seen through the 6 eyes. If it can tell that shrine has been engraved on yuji before yuji realizes it then it can definitely see the cursed energy that forms a cleave or dismantle
@@sageanimations2463 it can see the spark of cursed energy but when it leaves sukuna he can't see em. If I'm to believe kashimo can see it because of his x-ray then it means dismantle can only be seen on a different spectrum of light one that six eyes can't access. Six eyes can't do everything.
@@Owen-sx4jj The 6 eyes can literally tell how a technique functions just by looking at it, example that clone guy from hidden inventory arc. He deadass said how it works and destroyed all of them to beat the original user. That would mean he can literally see and process a technique while it's active. The 6 eyes can analyze and process everything that is cursed energy related. The only exception to that rule is kenjaku's technique which itself is a very unique ability that makes corpses into their bodies. Literally hiding from the cursed energy of the corpse.
@@sageanimations2463 even still, sukuna's technique has a unique attribute of being invisible. Gojo knows about the technique, dosent mean he can see it though
"Didn't need to travel " thats made up headcanon. Its a dismantle.... It always travels. Its never said it dosent travel. Every time its shown, it travels. All it does is have an expanded target, thats it. Gojo couldn't see it. Kashimo is told to dodge it because of that, he probably cant see it either but it dosent matter of he can or cant in this point im making.
Sukuna literally says that Mahoraga didn't send the slash flying. Expanding the technique's target means Dismantle doesn't travel, at least not directly from Sukuna's position.
@@Aki...544 mahoraga literally cut his arm and then the wall behind him. Mahoraga also wasn't the one that sent the slash that killed gojo so I don't where you got that from.
that's not what "expanding" means, you are making stuff up. In this context, dismantle can usually only cut certain things but with the help of maho, sukuna can now use it to cut space. It has nothing to do with travelling
One of the characters say "that's the same slash that killed gojo" when kashimo was hit.
8:30
It’s spiders cleave / dismantle
He used it in 215 or 214 on the ground
The name is stated
You forgot to add that the furnace is a guaranteed kill attack if it hits. This thing is pretty much the strongest attack in JJK except 200% hollow purple, perfect sphere and black hole.
What makes you think the WCS against Gojo appeared on him and didn’t travel? Sukunas binding vow just bypassed the chants and handsign and in return he was able to fire it with no signs or chants whatsoever. Not that it didn’t travel. Just that there was no warning because Sukuna didn’t need chants or signs. Now he needs chants, signs, and directional pointing. Also, I think Gege is just inconsistent. He originally intended one to be adjusted by Sukuna for the strength of the target, and the other just one strength. We see this against ryu, his regular dismantle wasn’t strong enough so Sukuna had to touch him and cleave his head.
The first part was a mistake on my part.
For the second part, while Gege might have meant it to be like that the story itself doesn’t really treat it like that. Which is why I tried to offer an interpretation where Gege’s words as the narrator is consistent with what happens in JJK
Shrine is such a weird technique considering the aspects of “furnace”. you have to have some level of special grade jujutsu knowledge to use it at its peak….like who tf is just going to know how to apply binding vows in order to activate furnace and then come up with another binding vow stacked on top to make up for the garbage speed the “arrow/flames” have🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ . most people would be dogshit with it unless they have been A: a vessel for sukuna or B:at least high grade one sorcerer level to bring out it’s strength. I mean it’s very telling that yuji seemingly can’t use the furnace aspect of the technique even tho he can exercise binding vows at a pretty high level and is a solid special grade level sorcerer 🤷♂️. Not to mention that unless u have sukuna level output your probably not cutting someone with “strong reinforcement “ (gojo or ryu) clean in half
But he locked the furnace himself so in my head yuji should be able to access some form of it but until he does what sukuna did it’ll be trash speed like you said.
Gojo should be able to see dismantle, isnt it curse energy...gojo would see the curse energy even if doesn't see the slashes
We did see him dodge the first dismantle sukuna threw at him and it hit the building instead. It’s either he dodge it or sukuna’s aim is trash
@@farsous10no. Sukuna was checking if he could see it
@@Owen-sx4jj lmao stop. Sukuna didn’t miss on purpose “because he can or wants to”.
@@farsous10 He literally did, Gojo had infinity on. Sukuna fired at the building.
@@farsous10 Sukuna wasn't aiming at Gojo, he was aiming at the building behind him. Which is why Gojo was caught off-guard. He thought Sukuna was aiming towards him
Shrine was the biggest let down for me I thought that when he revealed fire against Jogo that was a set up for more abilities but that’s all it was comparing it to star rage and limitless or even construction is not fair
U just want sukuna to be strong lol
No I just want it to be better than fire and slashes
@@Justice-j1b why?
Faxs. Especially since a shrine is meant for storing things. I thought he would’ve pulled out a multitude of techniques. Would’ve gave Yuji a more interesting bag as well.
I think it proves that Sukuna while not having a inherently op ability just made it op due to his skill
12:34 I don't think so because by that logic Sukuna would have unlocked it without fighting Gojo + using mahoraga to get the blueprint making it near Impossible for Yuta and Yuji to learn it.
Sukuna just hadn’t tried it yet. Like he had never thought to slash the existence itself. But now that they’ve seen him figure out that it’s even possible they could attempt it.
Does this mean that sukuna belonged to a clan of some sort. We never really see complicated techniques unless it is passed down and the fact it can be passed down is further proof I think.
6:08 most likely gojo cant see sukuna slash. if he could be able to dodge mahoraga slash and sukuna world slash
It’s already been explained in the manga. The world slash dismantle that was used on gojo had nothing to do cuz gojo couldn’t see it, it’s a vow made. He made a vow that his first world slash would hit gojo without him knowing in return of needing to use chants, hand signs, and point to the direction of where he wants it to go every single time he wants to use the world slash if he uses it after gojo
@@farsous10 it wasn't because he didn't want him to know. You guys just be adding nonsense to the manga. He used a vow because he had no hands to do them at the time so because of this he skipped the hand sign enmaten. As a result, he now has to do three things to use it as penalty. Handsign was the only thing required to use it but he didn't have hands so now because he did it without one he now has to do 3 things to cast it.
@@Owen-sx4jj that literally goes hand in hand to what I said. He still didn’t want gojo to know because if he hypothetically had hands to make hand signs then gojo could dodge it
@@farsous10 you assume he could see it. He has never dodged any dismantles nor has sukuna said he could even see em.
@@farsous10 You guys are the reason why gojo got to much hate
kind of a little reach for the standard dismantle having a soul damage effect, it's all about the user not the technique because even if you did damage using dismantle or cleave on mahito w/o knowing the shape of your soul it definitely would have been negated
@@gc3318 I am pretty sure in the vid I specify Sukuna’s dismantle and not dismantle in general. If I didn’t then that’s my bad
Everything we know about Kenny curse technique pretty much nothing
I cringe looking back at how everyone was reaching and trying to big brain the box but whole time it was the equivalent to the SpongeBob dolphin sound. It was the same shit when everyone was glazing kashimo before he even fought sukuna
I guess we never got to see Sukuna eat someone, maybe Gege did not say that afterall but it would have been neat should have been Uraume or Hakari
He ate tengen
@@outofideas4456 did he tho? Yeah I guess 🤷♀️ more like Kenjaku did, vomited and Sukuna ate the left overs. Meh as I said it be cool if it was Uraume. Like giving up her reincarnated body to Sukuna to transfer into and both of them start cooking everyone with the merger attempted but now with Nobara being another soul CT it would be easier to hurt Sukurame. Then both Nobara and Yuuta Gojo would have more time for themselves to show off with us seeing Yuuji full arsenal. It was all short lived
Hana got her arm taken off
I want video on
Gojo vs real sukuna (own body)
No binding vow no maharaga😢😢😢
Pretty please 🙏 ☺️ 💕
Broken ronin has a vid on it
06:06
Miguel ????
Also, gojo can’t see that
It’s debatable whether he can or not but Miguel has a better chance of seeing it than him
I thought the fire arrow's interaction with the domain was setting off a dust explosion
It is part of it, that’s what I meant by the explosive curse energy since that’s part of how it’s described in the manga
I almost forgot that sukuna got that bs plot armor against the soul split katana no way that should actually work it blocked Yutas katanas because they were just normal katanas the soul split katana is supposed to neg durability Gege literally has the narrator say that when Maki finally could see souls, Sukuna had some of the thickest plot armor I've ever seen and Gege wrote himself into a thousand corners and just had him pull some bs like lining his body with dismantle or whatever binding vow he chooses to explain to me 20 chapters later easily one of the most frustrating final fights I've ever read I'm shonen. Also they could regenerate their arms because it just had been too long Yuta says that they just had their injuries for too long before he could get to them, he is never stated to have soul damage except for Mahito entering his innate domain which tbh doesn't even really make any sense in hindsight like is any DE gonna do that idk cause we never see Yuji interact with any real DE outside of Mahito but oh well add it to the laundry list of unexplained shenanigans in JJK
Let's go I'm early
Pretty sure 267 page 16 yuji uses a ranged dismantle
Nope that's his domain sure hit
Is Miguel also considered a sorcerer who can see Sukunas slashes or automatically through his CT. ❤
I think that’s more Miguel looking at Sukuna’s movements rather then him seeing the slashes
Sukuna kitchen yuji scissor
He could’ve had an aspect geared towards defrosting frozen food, and it could’ve been plasma based attack that Paralyzes the cursed energy circulation or something
So to confirm, yujis domain sure hit is that soul dismantle right?
@@ezedn yes
@@ezedn I think the dismantle shown was a projectile due to how it was drawn and presented. Sukuna said if he continues to take damage the sure hit will land. It didn’t give any indication of hwb breaking so I think it was just regular dismantle but it’s kind hard to tell.
@@pdoggaming111 yuji just awakened the ct he doesn’t know how to send soul slashes as projectiles
@@ezedn to send soul slashes he needs direct contact. I was talking bout the dismantle from the chapter before last. I think that was a regular flying dismantle and not the sure hit.
@@pdoggaming111he wasn't holding hwb. Yuji's sure hit is likely a manually activated one, but it hits without fail (Sukuna's and Gojo's would be automatic)
So according to orameh dose sukuna still didn’t go all out
Lol that statement was really crap the dude literally was dishing out everything he had and she still said that and here I was thinking he had other abilities other than Kamins attached
Can we start calling "shrine" its actual name...its pedantic but the word for shrine Jinja. Jinja is not in his technique name, Mizushi. Its not in his DE name either, Fukuma Mizushi.
Like you cant call a 1000 yr old cathedral a mega church, just cuz its a big building for praying to Jesus. They didnt have ziplining pastors, pyrotechnics, electric guitars and drums. They didnt have electricity or even insulation. Just walls and clothes. Not only is a Mizushi a different kinda place of worship, the Japan that had Mizushis was a waaayy different Japan then the one of today that has Jinjas.
It's why the whole chef sukuna joke started like 6 yrs ago..Mizushis were basically kitchens, sometimes for nobles, like a dedicated prayer room in a big house.
People would offer sacrifices (ingredients) and receive blessings(food). The stoves they used are called Kamino, the same name as a divine flame. It was usually a crew of monks, but talented cooks could sneak into power by making a smaller team with better skills. Sukuna was the chef, Uraume the pantry director, and they split foodprep
Nah
@@xochimalliso what are saying it should be called? Not shrine but kitchen or something like that.
So literally it’s malevolent kitchen? Or like holy kitchen (kinda)
@@LightYagami-ik1cg Mizushi. You can't just make up words, or choose words at random. Manga solved this problem decades ago. If you can actually perfectly translate then do it. If you can't, suck it up and trust your readers to use Google. It's like asking the English word for tortilla. And fukuma doesn't just mean malevolent. If you NEED English words for it, it's more accurate to call it Demon hiding Mizushi. The Japanese community for example knew from like ch3 that sukuna would likely have fire powers, and when we first got fuga, the phrase kamino wo fuga immediately came to mind. Kamino are ovens you can find inside a Mizushi. Kinda their whole shtick. So yeah kitchen is actually more accurate than shrine. It's an issue that doesn't exist if we just call it what it is.
@@xochimalli I like kitchen more than shrine in this case. both are cool but kitchen actually explains better. And “demon hiding” could be referenced to his extra arms form. Yeah unfortunately English is usually straight forward. If we said “church” we’d mean church not just “place to worship”. Pretty cool tho
Can Sukuna change his domain sure hit to enchanted dismantle or WCS ?
No, he has to do hand signs and chants for each one which makes it impossible to add to the sure hit effect.
@@V1_The_Go-Pro but didn'tyuji make a BV to make his cleaves hit the soul though ? how can that apply to his domain

I have a question - on jjk wiki it says that divine flame after being used in domain "causes instantaneous high temperature, shock waves, decompression, and intense pressurization that KILLS ALL LIVING THING WITHIN THE DOMAIN". So how did Sukuna survived it?
Its his ce
Because a sorcerer isn’t ever the target of their own sure hit. Gojo’s brain doesn’t fry in unlimited void for the same reason
That net dismantle he used on kashimo seems to be his most powerful attack. Tbh it might even be net of world slashes
