- Come and join us for day 1 on board the Disney Dream for our first ever Disney Cruise! In this vlog we step onto this beautiful ship along with showing the embarkation process in Fort Lauderdale. Along with talking about everything we've got coming up on board, we take you for a full tour of our stateroom. We then check out some of this fantastic ship including the awesome sail away party, before heading for dinner at the Royal Palace Restaurant!

While I'm not really a fan of cruising, I happened to watch this video tonight. While I'm going through a hard time with my father not being very well at the moment, this video was just exactly what I needed. Just seeing how excited and happy you both were through the whole duration of the video , can't help but feel a lil bit myself. . So I'm off to watch day#2 now! I’ve never seen a cruise ship vlog and this one looks incredible. I looked at that menu after having just had a Heinz tin of soup and thought oooh I wish I was having that chateaubriand steak. I have the same glittery heels that Charlotte has 😁. You looked lovely in the spotty dress and Sean look fab in his Mickey shirt. Can’t wait to see the rest of the vlogs.

I came to your vlog channel from your other channel and when I heard that you two were doing your first Disney Cruise, I was so thrilled for you! Before Covid, I had gotten to sail and even work for DCL and seeing your reactions to everything got me so emotional! ❤ One thing that will help out the next time you cruise is to bring a carry-on day bag to have a change of clothes, swimsuit and things to fresh up in case of luggage delays! I look forward to seeing the rest of your vlogs!!!

Thanks for this tour. Disney doesn’t have drink packages. You can pre-buy bottles of wine for dinner but that’s it. And I’m sure someone’s told you by now, but Cozumel is pronounced with the emphasis on the first syllable.

Looks like you’re going to have a great time and hope you carry on with the adventurous food tasting🤣🐌 The green sticker on your suitcase most likely means they had to open your bag to check it. It usually happens if you have large liquids or food stuffs, that’s why they ask you to put them in your carry to avoid delays in getting your luggage to the room. never got to experience a cruise ship plus I’ve got a guide dog, Sean and Charlotte so it’s nice to listen to you guys on a cruise ship. Hope you’re both well from john. Reena and Betty Betty is my retired guide dog arena is my working one Betty went blind in 2017 she was my first guide dog

I really wanted to go on a disney cruise. I've never been on a cruise before I have disabilities too. It is very expensive
They are expensive however it’s worth looking out for good deals!

Also had a royal Palace first night on the dream!! Embarkation day was overwhelming and I had seasickness bands and stugeron which helped in the long run!! Now I’ve done one Disney cruise I’m hoping to go on the Fantasy (the sister ship) in 2025

I go on 3 🛳 a year. I noticed how loud the ship was. I normally to Aida cruises as you sit on your own table and it's not that loud.
Tried snails in Granada, that was an interesting story from my study abroad adventures. One of the females in my contingent is from Louisiana and taught me how to behead the shrimp because I'm not used to seeing the eyes, black, like a dolls eyes

Just so you know, they are not stickers on the room doors, they are magnets. You are not allowed to put stickers or anything sticky, like tape or bluetac on the doors or walls. The doors and walls of the rooms are metal, and a lot of people bring magnets.
Decorating the doors is a big thing on Disney cruises. Some people have a theme, some people just have their favourite characters, some people just have magnets for their previous cruises, ships or ports.
People also use magnetic hooks in their rooms for extra storage, like hanging up hats, ears, etc.
Also on Disney cruises, returning passengers get a free lanyard as well as other gifts from Disney. Most people use the free lanyard to carry their cruise card, which on Disney is called Key To The Word card. As a first time cruiser you dont get any of the free gifts, so its a good idea to bring a lanyard from home.
You will also see people using wearable tech on Disney Cruises. These are Magicband + from Walt Disney World or Disneyland California or you can also buy them on the ship.

I’ll always eat what I feel like I want to eat at the time. Everyone enjoys different things at the end of the day which is perfectly fine!
Are you able to output your videos at 30fps? For some reason, the lighting on the cruise ship makes your video very stuttery when its at 60fps and when you're panning the camera around! (1080p60) maybe just something to consider for future vids!
