You can tell a real Beach Boys fan animated this. Lots of little details and references.
Ikr! I'm just geeking out now
Definitely. Lots of references to their albums and history.
But arn't the guitars of Carl and Alan swapt
Bate, I had a BIG Smile (pun intended) when I saw the "Friends" album cover behind the band?
They caught Dennis' drumming movement perfectly. Some proper Love put into this. Peace.
I love the Beach Boys Love You cover at the end, so great!!!
The beach boys make me so genuinely happy like no other. Through happiness and darkness, they’ve gotten me through it all. Beach boys forever man
Same here! I always look forward to christmas, just for their christmas album alone.
Yes yes and yes
Wonderful, thank you for this beautiful video!
hi
I must show this video to my niece and nephews. I hope they love it!

at 0:25 you can also see a little honda on the workbench!
The dance Mike does at 0:45 is also from one of their I Get Around performances!
To hell with it, I'm gonna fanboy over Mike Love for this one. Brian was right, Mike had a GREAT voice during this period. Love the chord progression too, I'm hoping in the streaming age that this song could finally gain traction and become a Christmas standard, it's one of the best Christmas songs yet is never in rotation on the music TV channels or radio around Christmas, at least not in the UK
Honestly real. They were all at a creative peak during the 60's. The mid-70's was when they started getting...inconsistent. I'll just say that I think they should've spilt up in the early 70's, for the sake of the sanity of all of them.
Watching a young animated Dennis with long blonde hair playing the drums was very heartwarming.
I loved Denny. RIP Sailor!
1:27 - That 'Surf's Up' reference hit me hard.
I am 20. The beach boys have had such a positive influence in my life. I love Brian and the rest of the gang. Merry Christmas! RIP Dennis and Carl
Bro exact same! Living it up 20yo Beach Boys fans are where it's at
Don’t love mike love. He’s the worst.
im 23 and I am a huge fan too. Nobody knows even what the Beach Boys is in my country Turkey.
@@christmanchristine Yeah Mike could probably be a big pain in the butt, but he was instrumental in keeping the BB together when Dennis was out of control, Brian was a recluse and self medicating, even Carl, had some issued with his own drug dependency. Mike, Al and Bruce didn't use drugs and they kept it together for the rest of them.
@@johncraig7548 there is no justifying mike love and his actions. What he’s done recently is totally unacceptable and he should not even be allowed to use the name The Beach Boys when touring
whenever i hear this song i think of a dancing santa progressively getting smaller with each time they say "It's the little saint nick"
This is the kind of song you dont want it to end
2 short
I agree!
*THIS IS MY FAVORITE CHRISTMAS SONG OMG IM SO EXCITED!!!*
Cool song, fun video, it really lifted my spirits today!
Sameeeeee!!! This is EASILY my favorite Christmas song!
Check out my new Christmas song (2020) ua-cam.com/video/i25f4gz2UO0/v-deo.html
Mine too!!!
This video was made a week ago. This comment says, “2 weeks ago”.
0:47 they even included Dennis’s drumming mouth movement thingy he used to do.
Love the defeated Surfs Up horse getting made out of sand. Those are some messed up kids with great taste 😂
For me they will always be America’s Band. RIP Dennis and Carl. You left us way too soon.
This song always makes me smile.
My very favorite holiday tune ,
Same here
Very nice and upbeat
Me too😊 I absolutely Love this song!! Now having this animation makes it even better!!! 🌊🌲☀️
That should be for everyone
That's about as close to perfection as you can get.
I LOVED THE LOVE YOU REFERENCE AT THE END
Oh hi mark
@@thomasstevenson1402 do you understand liiifee
@@thomasstevenson1402 do you?
The beach boys in 1976 be like: *invents synthpop*
@@thomasstevenson1402 hello
The Beach Boys rock Christmas just like everything else! Although the majority might disagree, their best era to me was 1967-1973, (not withstanding Pet Sounds, of course, in '66.) They were rolling along with the Holland album, but then came a greatest hits double album, Endless Summer, in '74, released by their former record company, Capital Records. As great as that album was (went to #1 in '74 and then #20 in '75), it was a double edged sword that turned the BB into an oldies band. Miss you, Carl and Dennis.
u couldnt extend that period to 66 for pet sounds?!
I personally like their early stuff from 1962-1967.
After SMiLE fell apart in '67 things went downhill pretty fast... at least in my opinion.
@@utub1473 completely agree, still some good music it might have been way better if smile was finished
@@Simbetam Yeah there's still some alright songs after 67' but not many. Til' I Die is excellent and that's from 71' I think.
rip carl and dennis
they lives in this animation and our heart buddy
This song and one of their last hits, Kokomo, are honestly some of the greatest songs ever created. The opening of both live in my head internally, sometimes I'll just be doing something completely unrelated and the "Aruba, Jamaica, ooh I wanna take ya" will pop into my thoughts.
Excellent harmonies! I’m almost 70 and still love the BB!
This would be so cool back in 60's if they would done this love the cartoons of this and Heroes and Villains
1:00 this part was really creative and well done
This is so cute! I loved the striped shirts and how Dennis' hair bounced while he played, LOL. And all the references! Very well done.
"Little Saint Nick" is a Christmas CLASSIC. I have it on my Christmas playlist in my iTunes account. Great animation here....THANKS for sharing and Merry Christmas to all.
I was working overnight at Home Depot the first time I heard this, and I just thought "This sounds like the Beach Boys...did they make a Christmas song?"
I adore this song so much. The first and second “ooooooooh” before Mike starts singing is melancholy. Beach boys forever
Christmas 1963 was a melancholy time I recall. This was the first Christmas after Pres. Kennedy was assassinated--a rare event back then, unlike nowadays.
@@darlahaines6928 unfortunately I was born late 90s.. so jealous of you all who got to grow up with the Beatles.. beach boys.. Fleetwood mac.. etc.
This is just so good!!
Merry Christmas to all Beach Boys fans around the globe!
Cheers from Peru 🇵🇪
Merry Christmas to you thank you
Same to you from Michigan 🤣😁
same, from Brazil :V
Same to you from Beaumont CA.
Same back at you from the UK. BB are truly a band for all nations. Only wish Carl and Dennis were still with us.
Good to see Dennis and Carl again.
RIP to them!
This one's for all the Surfin' Santas and their elves! Merry Christmas 2020 to Southern California, The Beach Boys and to everyone -- everywhere!
This is like...A triple mono mix. The instrumental track is mono on the right, the vocals sound mono in the center, and then the sleigh bells are mono on the left
It's messing with my head.
(Shure SRH440 closed back monitoring headphones)
Mike Love is by far the most underappreciated member of this band. Without his voice this band wouldn't have gotten as big people..he sang lead on like 75 percent of their most essential tracks. I'm so sick of the bashing from whiny "fans". Give the man the respect he deserves for making this band the "fun" band you remember. That was his influence on the group
The Beach Boys and their Christmas hits will never get old!
Love how the drumming is simple enough to drum along at home
One of my all time favorites! Why? It's a fun song, and you can dance to it, AND it appeals to kids... ALL ages! Thank you Brian, Al, Mike, Bruce, Carl, and Dennis.
The animators somehow made Mike Love look like a decent human being
lmao
Probably because he is just a normal, flawed human being, despite how this fandom portrays him.
@@tommyl.dayandtherunaways820 Bless, Tom. You and yours. For we All FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD.
@@tommyl.dayandtherunaways820 this pathetic fanbase is one of the whiniest I've ever seen. almost makes it impossible to enjoy the band. jesus. Mike Love is the man
@@StonedMeadowOfDoom They should win an oscar. You are a sucker if you think that
Simply wonderful... Love the 'wild honey' plane flag and the 'loves you' end titles! 👍
This is not a song in South Florida. It's life down here !!!! Merry Christmas y'all from South Florida !!!!!
Tons of respect to whoever animated this. I love the references to the Brother logo, Love You, etc
Released by The Beach Boys on December 9, 1963...got to #3 on the Billboard Xmas singles charts. It was also released in November 1964 as part of the "Beach Boys Christmas Album" using a different mix.
Brian Douglas, this is Scott Douglas (from Inglewood - circa 1956), and you (and the gang) were my Beatles before the Beatles, and some years after your great melodies, I also became a huge fan of the Four Freshmen (having caught the music bug), later collaborated with Eddie Cochran's fiance, Sharon Sheeley (writer of Rick Nelson's, Poor Little Fool, and She's Somethin' Else), and decades later, I never took the time to thank you for your having introduced me to MUSIC, and for having been been blessed to have shared making music in the same studios you once created some of your greatest works! Just had to say, Hi, that we both had similarly screwed-up dads, and that you still amaze, and nurture me, like the older brother I wish I'd had. I don't have a whole of of time left (heart stuff), but your melodies/harmonies/arrangements absolutely changed how I saw this world, and for that, I owe you everything. We all die, but I only hope I die before you do, as I sincerely couldn't take that amount of hurt in one shot. Live long and prosper, dear friend! ♥
"The Beach Boys love you."
Love that
In Peru Christmas is on summertime, so the beach and summer vibes and jolly decorations matche exactly our concept of december, this is so relatable
the “Run, Run, Reindeer!” and “Little Saint Nick..” is my favorite part :D
Sameeereeeer
I meant sameeeeeeeee
Ooooooh, Merry Christmas Saint Nick!
Christmas comes this time each year
I enjoy that they got Dennis' drumming style right and threw in a lot of references to the Beach Boys albums, songs and the Paradise Cover photoshoot. Like every frame has a Beach Boys reference in it. I liked the Beach Boys Love You album cover at the end as that's my favorite Beach Boys album. I had a Beach Boys-gasm
@oiuet souiu Pet Sounds, maybe.
@oiuet souiu GOAT=Greatest of All Time
Nobody has any idea how much this song to me. I hold this song dear more than any other. The memories I hold to this song are like no other, grandpa grandpa mom dad auntie uncle.. good times.. god bless the beach boys.. these guys and this song mean so much to me. I will hold this song dearly to myself forever
Yep, I loved The Beach Boys in their early years, I still have their Christmas Album. For Vinyl fans, that album was made in HiFi NOT stereo, and the disc is remarkably heavier/thicker, too. Album sleeve, still in great shape.
I love this. I love how the person who animated this included some of their records. Wild Honey, Pet Sounds, The Beach Boys Love You. All of it is perfect
Brian giving Christmas the full treatment! 😊
Brian Wilson is the most fantastic and joyful voice, in the history of the usa
Sometimes just randomly throughout the year this song will pop up in my head and I just need to hear it. I love this song!
Do you smoke weed?
Can never get tired of listening and watching these legends. Thank you guys for what you have and continue to do for GREAT MUSIC!
@Curtisszymczyk1339, two words best describe these guys, even at Christmas... Pricelessly Timeless!
The pride of Hawthorne, CA.!!!
My twenty-something year old son Trevor was humming this song today on Christmas Day 2021, which inspired me to find the "Little Saint Nick" song and I found this FANTASTIC animated video! WOW. What a lovely treat to see and hear on Xmas. Thank YOU so much! Amazing Details only Fans would notice. LOVED IT! Blessings to All.
THE BEST VIDEO IN UA-cam IN 2020!!!
Why does this song make me bounce my head side to side 🤣 Brian's harmony at the end nice!
This is one of the few holiday songs I actually enjoy. I was just looking for an AMV, and stumbled upon this. Looking forward to it. 😎
My 6 year old is obsessed with the Beach Boys and can't get enough of this 😄
Wait till he gets in his first car, it starts over again!
I’m 14 and listened to beach boys since I was 4 it’s good your child is listening to them there songs help

@@antigriefingfanatics4172 thanks! My son now 17 listens to same stuff I grew up with 60s into 80s.
He helped learn to read by singing along to BB and EWF from printed lyrics in car! Neat trick to anyone reading this! He was reading at high school level in elementary school! BB was part of reason.
@@yourmanufacturingguru001 my grandpa showed me the song and now I’m a 14 year old that loves the 60s decade
Beach Boys harmony just can't be beat!!
The Beach Boys will always and forever be my favorite group!!
My compliments to the ones who did this video. Lots of attention to detail. Brought back great memories.
I loved the sky background from 'Friends.'

Merry Christmas 2021 everyone! Regardless of if you're listening to this song for nostalgia sake or if you're hearing it for the first time, let's sit back and enjoy this groovy tune this holiday season!
Love the Feel Flows mention early in the piece. Terrific.
And today's animation styles are so cute in these videos! I can't wait to see how they express the song in animation.
This song randomly popped into my head. I just had to listen to it.
It’s just that good!!
True Detective Season 4 Episode 2
So cool. Don't know too many ppl that didn't like the Beach Boys. They were so laid back.
The Beach Boys Christmas Song I Can't Wait This Is Happening
so cute!
This is the best Christmas song ever. The Beach Boys will live in our hearts forever, brings back all those memories from my youth, growing up in the Sixties, thanks for the memories
Boy, Fantoons is crushing it with these animated videos.
Amazing! Only been my favorite Christmas song, for about
60 years now!
OK, I may be an old fart, but I never realized Little Deuce
Coupe, and Little Saint Nick had the same score! Until
now!
steve
Honest to goodness fun. Merry Christmas everyone!!
This song is never in any Christmas playlist on UA-cam, it deserves to be.
Merry Christmas to Lee and all Beach Boy fans across the world. We pray and wish for a great 2021. 2020 is a year all of us will want to forget.
I wish for more music videos of this animation or different animators.
This is one my favorite Christmas songs of all time. That is saying alot because there are many classics!
This is one of my FAVOURITE Christmas songs!
The Beach Boys are brilliant. This is a classic Christmas song and the video is cool.
I ain't Christmas till I hear this one...all time favorite. 😉
Remember when it came out in '63

Yes thank You...for their "warm" music. Always been a big fan of their sound. Have a lots of their albums and are playing the music specially now in this cold winter here i Sweden..

I also noticed that there is a poster for the movie " Almost Famous " on the wall. Perhaps the airplane could represent the airplanes that were on the poster for " Endless Summer " ??
The sky from Friends album too.
I love those calafornian Beatles. Their harmonics in the voices is unbeaten. It always gives me that happy feeling and especially today, when it's dark, rainy and windy outside, the hope of a new, bright, sunny and lovely spring/ summertime. ❤️
Brian, Mike, Carl, Dennis and Al, the ORIGINAL and ONLY Beach Boys🍸🎄
This was absolutely incredible. It’s a week into the new year and I want Christmas again just to play this a ton!
I love the hidden references (especially the brother records logo at the end). Amazing
My favorite Christmas song.
This is so fantastic! What a great tribute to The Beach Boys. Bravo!
This song is sooooo good with such a fantastic groove it's impossible to describe, or top....

My favorite song from The Beach Boys Christmas album. Greetings from Chile. 👋
The Greatest Rock band in the World ...🇺🇸🎹🌴🏄♂️🎸🎤
This is my 4 year olds favorite Christmas song and I wish I could tell my Dad who loved the Beach Boys and passed this September. The hard parts of life make you realize how great life can be.
Who couldn't love this? The entire Christmas album's great!
Takes me straight back to my childhood. This is an incredible song and this video does this song justice. A very well done to the creators
