To me, measure of faith means that God has come through to everyone of us in His promises of goodness through His words and by His Spirit. If we look around us, we can see that the Confidence He instilled in us, leads us to victory in our everyday life despite the circumstances and challenges we face and it grows as we exercise it the more in everyday life challenges just like the muscle of a weight lifter. What we need to identify it is to not live in fear and anxiety and be still, observant, patient and see His victorious hands working out possible answers for us. Shalom
The term "measure of faith" reminds me of your teaching on the omer. The children of Israel could gather as much or as little as they liked but when they measured it they all had the same - an omer (the tithe portion) representing Jesus the tithe given by God so that we might be provided with life. The tithe that was laid up in the storehouse was for the orphan, the widow and the alien. That covers all!
It sounds like splitting hairs to me, but at least it's splitting hairs about the Gospel of Christ Jesus of Nazareth. Praise and hope and thanks to the GOD of all creation.
