Great video gents .... what I like is that you guys drive the truck and discuss some of its features. Liked your comments on braking. All the other channels just show the truck .... very rare that someone drives the truck.
HELL YEAH Love The Before and After Pictures Thank You!!!! Truck Looks So Much better with the Chrome added to the Truck Looks Awesome!!!! You did a Perfect Job just enough Chrome on a Black Truck
The truck at the beginning from a distance looks like it could be a UPS truck. Definitely not feeling the Black out look! Give me chrome, stainless and polished aluminum!
That's an awesome looking truck. But that dodge dually in the background at 5:50 is my kinda truck. Im partial to the duramax, but I love all duallies. Have you considered super singles for the 579? Or maybe you dont like them. If not, why not?
Truck looks great but Roadworks needs to rethink the stainless flags. The Stars & Stripes are facing the wrong way. Stars should always be facing forward. 👍🏼
I have a 579. Used to have a 13spd Eaton Ultrashift. Needless to say, 16k later in stooopid electrical repairs to it, I spent another 6k converting it to a 13spd manual. Those are ticking time bombs for owner ops…
That White 567 in the background looks sharp! I'm surprised that Peterbilt hasn't come out with a truck like the 567 with the hood of a 389 on it. Like what Kenworth has done with the W990.
@@prestonrubin94 The 367 in in line with the 388 and 389 if you as me because of the cab. The 567 and 579 have the wider 2.1 meter cabs so the platform is different. @@prestonrubin94 Yep, most Peterbilts share the same parts and the headlights are definitely something that transitioned over to the 567. Being that the cab is wider on the 567 the hood is wider, but it still might share characteristics of other Peterbilt models.
Beautiful truck. But for the life of me, I do not understand why an OTR truck that drives thousands of miles every week would not have smart steering wheel with east access to cruise control. Also, with so much space in the ultra loft, I would expect to see a larger fridge, or at least space for a larger fridge. This fridge looks significantly smaller than the ones in F.L. or Volvos.
Can you please give the empty weight comparison of 579 567 and 389 Can not find any 579 weight at all let alone comparison YOU are the go to guys for Peterbuilt information Thanks
Pete trys to build an aerodynamic truck so we add a hillbilly sunvisor. Black wheels are impossible to keep clean and all the chrome plated plastic bits won't last.
Guys you had me worrying for a moment, when you guys said 579, and behind you was a 389😂, , send best part of the video was when both of you were like that’s a nice Pete that just went by. The rest of was history.
Peterbilt keeps advertising in print & video that you can get the ultraloft with a Dinette but, I’ve yet to see one. I’m not sitting on the edge of a mattress to do paperwork or read, or computer work. Offer dinette & I will order one.
@@sanghelli53 yea anything automatic is good in traffic but when they start slipping gears have your pockets ready already had automatic went back to a 10 sp good luck man see you on the roads
Can't wait to see a tricked out 567! It's too bad Peterbilt doesn't do like a large integrated aerodyne sleeper on the 567. Kinda like a KW 900. Just sayin... best of both worlds, old school meets aero.
Had an automated transmission a few years ago. Hated it in traffic! Always had to use manual mode. I'm sure the newer ones are significantly better, but still boring to drive.
Gave a thumbs up for the video, not the truck. I like the 579, but not in this layout. Legendary Blue with polished wheels would have been sweet! Or for this truck Legendary Black with polished wheels.
Good morning Thank You for sharing this video. I feel I need to say this, keep both hands on the steering wheel . I may say it just for the sake of perfection. All Your videos are so amazing that I just want to keep You being all the time the best. Happy new Year 2021
The 567 looks confused. I see what they're trying to do but it doesn't look good. I recommend a 579. I love my black 2021 579 mid roof with faring and many more factory and post factory goodies than this one. The X15 605hp/2050tq works terrific. Way more quite and strong than my old Freightliner Columbia! 🤫
I can understand the fuel mileage. But the 579 drives nothing like a 389. Also fuel mileage is mostly how you drive. A lot of 389s are getting high 6s.
Automated transmission is the only way to go!
Best of both worlds

Thanks for the review update of the newer 579 . Wanted to see the difference in the new and older ones .
That Pete looks really good after with all the chrome on and it has so much room on the inside I like it I want one in electric blue

I was wondering what I hated about it, it would actually be an improvement to go UPS brown.
Yep ups 🤮
I like everything about the hood emblem.
looks amazing im infatuated with this truck especially after the chrome looks amazing.
Tommy I agree you need to do a custom 567.
As a dump truck driver I'll be looking forward to seeing the dump truck video.
Reminds me of the TMC trucks that go past my house every 10 minutes hauling drywall.
My friends that have one told me that it's big boy and big gal approved. So I approved👍They run for a local carrier around your neck of the woods

Great looking truck for the OTR guy for sure!!!! I Agree truck needs stacks and more chrome!!!! 😎✌️
Would like to see it all lit up after the sun goes down!
Yes..agree. Where is the money shot with the under glow and chicken lights after dusk!!!
Happy New Year! 🚛🚛🚛🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Happy New year
Which road works drop visor is that? I am building a new model 579 and want a good visor but not have it be too oversized like some out there are.
567 ultraloft would be interesting
Nice video
Thanks!

I think the smart steering wheel is an option. I've seen it in other 579
Reminds me of my dad's pete 387.
It needs stacks and a manual transmission. Like what y'all doing with most of these trucks.
I really liked the super man 567
I have a 2022 579 ultraloft. I want to know if I can remove to top storage bin & lift the closet to add a 4.5 Cu refrigerator? If so how?
What model was the new Pete in red and blue ?
I like it but feel as you guys do about it ! Great Videos ! I like the 567 but they’re the same weight as a 379 , So you know where I’m goin!
I’ll spec a 567 with an ultra loft sleeper that’s definitely my dream built
How fast does that truck goes ? What’s the horse power? And how it costs ? Please
TN is beautiful! My home state!
I have a 567 and would love to see you trick one out
I have the same one and I still don’t know how to adjust those mirrors. Can you please help?
579 is more of a aero dynamic deal and there's more space on the inside.
Can you get all Paccar drive train in 567 model?
Yes

What is the purpose of buying the blackout edition?
So you don't have to wash it
Just curious. What are your actual jobs at Fitzgerald. Love the channel

Please build some 567's
Need to paint the parts black

That’s a nice looking Pete. But I’m a VNL 860 man myself.
Still needs a bull bar and stainless steel fenders.

Still no 13 speed for Tommy. 🤦🏼♂️ It’s a beautiful truck. The guys did a great job. I hope you guys get a 567 to customize.
Looks better than it did but still to much black. Chrome grill and mirrors would have help alot more just break up all the black

Im for the classic 389 looks from outside, but with the interior colurs of a 579.. Its 2021, no fake wood for me 🤮 thanks👍
They basically put a bumper over the windshield

These ultralofts look so friggin dorky and the added space did very little for interior storage.
