The topic of a M3 Touring regulary pops up in the BMW forums. But unfortunately BMW product management has lost their mind a while ago. They tell us ///M is a sports car, we can't build ///M EVs because batteries are too heavy. Fine, but why are they building monstrosities like the X ///M models? I really struggle with their recent huge kidney designs and the FWD 1, which i hate to the bone.
Because there's a difference between alot of people on the internet saying they want it than people who will actually buy it, and I think BMW is aware that people want to see an M Touring but know that in the end, they wont sell as much.
@@DanielStancex RS6 pretty much sold out in the US. Of all AMG customers, E63 Estate owners (from new) are on average in the wealthiest group of people on the planet compared to those buying hopped up crossovers M3 or M5 Touring would do great
Man I work at the port and seen an M3 CS that came through new from the factory it was gutted and the inside was a race car..It had slicks on it, exposed fuel tank, battery system and everything
Maybe with COVID-19 smashing sales BMW will finally put an M3 Touring into production - it’ll walk out the door. I’ve owned an F31 and and a B8 RS4 but think an M3 Touring would be the most desirable.
It is offered by BMW Individual, but that doesn’t make it a BMW colour. Just like our Verde Mantis M3, came from the factory like it, but it’s still a Lamborghini colour.
@@EvolveAutomotive what's the name of the original Audi color? I see Porsche has a very similar looking grey but not Audi. Nardo is much darker/blue grey
Why wanting a sports car looking like a touring? the sedan looks 1000x better. sportier.sharper than this. But i respect all the hard work behind this project.
blame family wagons of the 80s and 90s. We just don't buy them even though we think they are somewhat cool if the cars have all the performance goodies.
Bmw really have missed out not making a hot wagon with the 3 and 5 series
