This may be the greatest, most underrated UA-cam video I have ever seen. There are so many things to love. There's drama (who's Henry and what's he done?). There's mystery (why can't his wife know about trimming the edges?), and,of course, the most ingenious little table ever. I only regret that I have but one thumb's up to give.
Where have I been , stumbled across this video a couple of days ago and have made a couple of tables already, albeit with the slight mod of rounding the table corners …great video 👍
Hey. Another great little project for me keep them coming Nobby that was a great one , looking forward to the next one pal. Thanks for sharing and keep safe pal.
now thats woke me up to having a go myself. seeing as my work on peoples extension drawings has dried up i am going to put the cad machine to use and make a table. if it works well will post it on line for everyone to use
Very clever ! Gonna use that..... I watched the cascade vid before ending up here, and yours seems to have the edge, because it doesn't bow upwards in the middle..... only a minor thing, but irritating if you want to put something very lightweight on the table. All the best....👍
Really helpful video mate.. thank you. Don't want to alarm you but about 2 minutes in a hideous looking swamp monster crept in .. (bottom right of screen) and with all these horrible things going on we should all be aware of intruders...
Thanks for sharing this, it took a while til I realised why not tell the wife haha. It won't stain! Tell her what? Lol. I wonder if there's a way to support the edges, instead of cutting them, making more space. Do you know if they're recyclable? I hadn't realised they're so cheap!!
Your table is basically a rough copy of the Cascade Wild ultralight folding table I invented and started selling in the US in 2016 and have now shipped to more than 40 countries. The Cascade Wild table I make weighs 60 grams, I can see from the design that your table likely weighs about 140 grams. I hope you will google and find the Cascade Wild table and check it out. Thank you.
Hi Jim, I did mention the cascade in the vid and said it was good value. You are welcome to link it in the comments I'll pin the response so people can see.
@@xxgg I appreciate the suggestion and took a quick look, FBA at Amazon.CA definitely is a viable option and should be fairly simple since we do use Amazon FBA in the US. The non-profit that assembles the Cascade Wild table is operating at reduced capacity due to the pandemic so we are having sporadic inventory shortages. When more normal production returns I will look into FBA Canada. In the meantime, we do subsidize international shipping when you order from our website, cascadewild.com. Thank you, Jim Hamel
I can see you making a bit of cash making these....doh, not now you've posted this though.......got my eye on next door but ones ''for sale sign'', although they are shit neighbours and I'll like to see them gone so its off to Amazon i'll go, great vid......stay safe, look after the family........cheers...Stu....👍👌
'Slow descent into madness' ? ... Stop trying to make it sound as though you and nutter'hood are strangers. Pretty obvious you and it have been walking hand in hand for a decent length of time. Nifty little table there. And - I love any burst of 'owt for nowt'. Mind you, estate agents everywhere may end up head-scratching about a sudden epidemic of signs gone missing . Hope you and your little 'tribe' stay safe and well , and relatively sane, through this time of misadventure .

nice one , Im loving that idea

A lot of the corex is flame retardant as I used it to cover stuff up when welding, so it should be good around heat,
Mrs put a pan on it from the hob and it was fine
Very clever that!

I'm not sure about recycling. They last a while tho
Great vid Nobby. Do you think if made larger it would double up as a back support in a frameless bag? Was thinking about getting one.
Possibly but have yet to try a framless bag so wouldn't want to lead you up the swanny

corrugated card board?
