I was the Paladin player in this game and I just wanted to say thanks for the great game sir and i'm glad to see you had as much fun as I did during it. =P
+androidsychoshocker Tip: Don't trade all the time. When you notice your opponent can't deal with your board and he is under pressure health wise, just go face and force him to draw the answer. I think you played way too conservatively ;)
+TheAzertjuh I just didn't know what he was running exactly. I was afraid of valens, holy nova shinanagens since I hadn't left his board up in a long time. Looking at it, I probably should have gotten that few more damage in but the unknown scared me off of it. :P
Looking back at Brians's videos, what I really love is how positive he is, if the opponent has a really good turn he just laughs it off and appreciates the fun and not being salty af.
It's crazy how an entire expansion didn't really shake the meta up at all with TGT, but League of Explorers does so much fun stuff with just 40ish cards..
+OnlyRoke Yeah, TGT added virtually nothing apart from a couple of key cards like Twilight Guardian and Justicar. Blizzard really missed the mark with Inspire (although it did change arena), and the less said about Joust the better. Discover on the other hand is great, and the design of all the LoE legendaries is some of the best we've seen from team 5.
+OnlyRoke the thing is that you put down a lot of gold or a few bugs and get the hole LOE but you can spend 100 bugs or more withouth having all the TGT cards. this way more people have the cards and can experiment with them
+YelLOLGames There can also be other influences... Kind of what NM47 said, after I play a game vs a priest and he super jacks a 1-1 minion. The next game vs priest I vow I will not let a single thing live on his board......
+luis escobar I'm no hearthstone expert but leaving a cleric on the board that can trade with your 1/1s AND accelerate card draw isn't worth 6 damage to the face - especially against a *priest* at 18 life. Priest is the one class you need to be sure as hell you're gonna kill when you go for it, because being one damage short and losing the board will lose you the game.
What a great game. This goes to prove that Hearthstone really is a game of skill, and I (a rank 5 player) found myself thinking "wow, that is the right play, isn't it?" all throughout the game. Well played.
+Benjamin Adler if you thought that, then you made the same mistakes or "not thoughts" as kibler xD for example he did not count the secrets correct and thought there was a 2nd noble sacrifice possible, when both were allready popped. and that was his reasoning for not playing a pyromancer that one turn. in hindsight it turned out better since there was a peacekeeper, but that was something he did not consider and did not base his play on. so it should be considered a mistake either way. another thing was: when he played pyro/circle/shield/shield he did not consider that his pyro would go down to 1 health and there there is a juggle from the redemption! so he got very lucky the juggle went face. I think his play was still ok, going riski like "either this works or I loose anyway". but from a standpoint of like "higher justice" I feel he should have been punished for not even considering that it could go horribly wrong...
See, it's pretty simple; the title isn't misleading at all! It says, "Epic Golden Monkey Priest Comeback", which means that it's an epic comeback by a Golden Monkey Priest deck. ^^
To all the people complaining about the vids title - the deck (i imagine) is called Golden Monkey, the game overall was a decent comeback, the title of the deck was just included
thats just dumb. he already won the game even before he played the golden monkey. It contributed nothing to the comeback. opponent was out of cards and last 2 attack minibot cant deal enough damage through priest heal. golden monkey basically did nothing except forced him to play 3/5 for 4 that did nothing to the board. so he survived through entire paladin deck and put pally into fatigue just so that you can play the golden monkey? if he wanted the win condition, he already got it: fatigue. elise is actually such an unnecessary card. would much rather run cabal/thoughtsteal/velens/harrison instead of it
This is an odd comment, but it pertains to your video quality. I think having the deck list on the left is a great idea for these videos. It makes things considerably easier to follow, and emulate, at a glance.
+Vinnie Swaglington He spent a card and 10 mana for nothing btw, if elise would've been just a decent 4 drop, like a shredder, he would've won earlier.
+Vinnie Swaglington Even if you consider it a comeback, it's not a "Golden Monkey Comeback"... he literally couldn't lose before even playing the monkey. Only 2 damage per turn for the opponent and he was a priest with 3 health. Even playing nothing but hero power for... 5 turns(?) would have won it from fatigue alone.
curious as to the reason behind the change of one nova for one excavated evil. is the one point of damage more the value? or is it more in the fact that it ends up in both decks?
+Neil Excavated Evil is just an insanely good card. It destroys aggro and tempo and is pretty good against midrange too. 3 damage versus 2 is HUGE. 2 copies is probably a mistake in a fatigue build but as a 1 of alternative to holy nova I think it's a great card.
+Neil I think is not only those two good reasons but having not many things to heal except himself and deathlords. Nova is great not only for removal and healing but also drawing with cleric; in this deck there are only a few minions who survive long enough I think.
+Neil It is much better in spell-centric priests. In Dragon Priest for example I think the card is a lot worse since your gameplan is highly efficient minions.
+Neil I've experimented with a bunch of different versions of the deck. Evil is very good against Shaman Aggro in particular, since it kills Tunnel Trogg and Feral Spirits. The downside is less overall self-healing and card draw with Clerics, as well as awkwardness in fatigue matchups, but Monkey changes the latter a great deal.
I'm a relatively new player and i don't have justicar or a second lightbomb. Is it still possible to play this deck? I put in a light of Nauru and Emperor Thausurian.
+Matěj Pospíšek After completing the Heroic mode of an adventure, you can then craft the Golden versions of that adventure's cards for the same price as crafting normal golden cards. So, it's a combination of both what you said (must complete Heroic mode) and what James said (must craft the cards).
Just my opinion, but I think the background music is a little loud and drowns you out at some points. Just stumbled upon your channel and you seem really chill and interesting to watch!
it was hard to here your voice in between the game noise and the music ... it was extremely hard to hear you when you were talking about the donation from germany
this game was kinda done 5-10 minutes in. No comeback really happened, just a priest clearing out secret pally with spells. Nice to see it happening but nothing too interesting
we dont need a big update like TGT actually. Not because I dont want lots of cards. Its because Blizzard always contributes only few good cards and a ton of shitty one! Look at all Adventures, Just about 3 cards per class and less than 20 neutral cards, they change the entire meta! Ex: Sludge Belcher, Mad scientist, Emperor Thaurissan, Loatheb, Reno, Brann........
It is really difficult to understand him, with the music, the game sound effects, him talking very calm and sometimes breathing the words out rather than putting some voice into them. Also him leaning back and probably being far away from the mic doesn't help^^ The reason I'm mentioning it is, that I really like how he explains the options and reasons his choices, but half of the time I just can't understand enough for the sentence to make sense to me :(
I was the Paladin player in this game and I just wanted to say thanks for the great game sir and i'm glad to see you had as much fun as I did during it. =P
+androidsychoshocker Good game! :)
+androidsychoshocker Tip: Don't trade all the time. When you notice your opponent can't deal with your board and he is under pressure health wise, just go face and force him to draw the answer. I think you played way too conservatively ;)
+androidsychoshocker great attitude dude :)
+androidsychoshocker I was the Priest player and I also enjoyed it as much as I did. thanks a bunch.
+TheAzertjuh I just didn't know what he was running exactly. I was afraid of valens, holy nova shinanagens since I hadn't left his board up in a long time. Looking at it, I probably should have gotten that few more damage in but the unknown scared me off of it. :P

It's crazy how an entire expansion didn't really shake the meta up at all with TGT, but League of Explorers does so much fun stuff with just 40ish cards..
+OnlyRoke Quality over quantity :) And there were a lot more legendary/class cards compared to neutrals in LoE I think, which are always higher power.
+OnlyRoke Because the joust effect was awful for the current meta. Basically added stuff that wouldn't stop the aggression.
+Big Moms Right hand Mysterious 6 is a broken ass card that just rewarded paladins with no drawback. That card should be like 9 mana tbh.
+OnlyRoke the thing is that you put down a lot of gold or a few bugs and get the hole LOE but you can spend 100 bugs or more withouth having all the TGT cards. this way more people have the cards and can experiment with them
Watching kibler's old videos in quarantine
Man, this Paladin just lost because he wanted to trade with everything!
exatly
+YelLOLGames
Dont act like you knew the opponents cards.
its not wise to let minios on board especially against priest
I know, but he had the board in 9:33 and with the vantage of cards, so he should have gone face, instead of have trading with everything '-'
+YelLOLGames There can also be other influences... Kind of what NM47 said, after I play a game vs a priest and he super jacks a 1-1 minion. The next game vs priest I vow I will not let a single thing live on his board......

+Benjamin Adler heartstone is game of skill ;p yess sure ;p;p;p Watch this fight zero luck 100% skill. yess sure
+sajmon7 You just suck at Hearthstone really... You play facehunter, Yes? That's why you suck lol.
+WaaoW CatLike Well he is not completly wrong , luck is a big factor in hs ^^
Actually luck is the big factor of all card games.
Glad this popped up today! What a great time in Hearthstone!
I can't get enough of the curator attack sound. Dibidi-don't...touch that...
December 2020 recommendations be like
April 2021 recommendation here 😁
Same! It's weird how this is more than 5 years ago, but when watching this video I'm right back in the game like it was yesterday.
See, it's pretty simple; the title isn't misleading at all! It says, "Epic Golden Monkey Priest Comeback", which means that it's an epic comeback by a Golden Monkey Priest deck. ^^
To all the people complaining about the vids title - the deck (i imagine) is called Golden Monkey, the game overall was a decent comeback, the title of the deck was just included
you came a long way music-wise :D
This is what we like to call a Control deck stabilizing! This is why control decks are so much fun in Hearthstone.
7:47 What a sherlock-like question! Of couse it is Blessing of Kings. OMFG!
Kibbles and bits reminds me of Prince charming in Shrek.
thats just dumb. he already won the game even before he played the golden monkey. Pally hero power
+Isaac Intner Priest hero power and Ashbringer. Kibler had it in a bag.
+james byun Not everything is about winning you idiot.
+Josh Marion He is one of those people that has the fun in his sights. It's called a tryhard

Ilidaran it was just about your english^^
he does make the best faces when he is surprised so whats wrong ?
Happy Feast of Winterveil!
Im so upset I de constructed a elise starseeker because the card never did anything for me... Now I know, I fucked up...
5 years later Kibler turned Ultra Instinct trying to dodge the bad decisions team 5 made
that paladin player wasted 8+6+6 damage to the face. you served this win on the golden tray bro congrats.
This is an odd comment, but it pertains to your video quality. I think having the deck list on the left is a great idea for these videos. It makes things considerably easier to follow, and emulate, at a glance.
dang behold the freaking might of stormwind.
Wow this video is nearly 3 years old...
This makes me wanna learn priest.
17 min video with a misleading title. i mean yeah...
+Vinnie Swaglington it wasn't a comeback per say. He would've won without it.
+Vinnie Swaglington Paladin was out of cards by the 5 hp mark though
+paintedhat Someone got lazy on the editing.
+Vinnie Swaglington He spent a card and 10 mana for nothing btw, if elise would've been just a decent 4 drop, like a shredder, he would've won earlier.

i miss this era
that deck is good helped me alot with ranked
dad comes to save the day
weird that he didn't wild pyro and the circle , that would have cleared the entire board and left you with the runts as well
Ohh YT algorithm, here we meet again haha
This guy reminds me of Devin from gta 5
I'm whatching this in 2017 (:
Would have been tragic if he had spawned in two Baron Geddons and your opponent had one extra health
This game was won on the second pyro
BY THE LIGHT

Im still trying to find out where the comeback part is..

+GAGANBable Because he is a good player, duh? I thought that was obvious.
Entomb, OP as fuck...

16:44 best moment in video.

+FullCircleStories tanks, miserably shaved my wife
That noise on background wich some people called "music", it's killing me! Literally, it's hurt. Thanks for your videos. Srr about my english...
Can I get the soundtrack you're listening to?
I'm a relatively new player and i don't have justicar or a second lightbomb. Is it still possible to play this deck? I put in a light of Nauru and Emperor Thausurian.
sound effects/music down. voice up in volume please! great game :D
music too loud~
Why didnt he play pyromancer to clear the board with circle of healing?
Is this deck hard to play
I know its maybe dumb question, but how did you get the golden LOE and Naxx cards? is it by completing the heroic mode?
+Matěj Pospíšek After completing the Heroic mode of an adventure, you can then craft the Golden versions of that adventure's cards for the same price as crafting normal golden cards. So, it's a combination of both what you said (must complete Heroic mode) and what James said (must craft the cards).
now the palladins I FACE wont trade elise or northshire... they just go face i win the f game
does he have a fucking dead stuffed dog next to him (top left)
Brian = Anduin?
you won from that turn with deathlord and excavated evil....so it's not a comeback!
What you all came for 15:20 enjoy
what is your name of hearthstone
Always funny videos from what I've seen, subbed for sure. Always enjoy Hearthstone UA-camrs. Kripp isn't as entertaining.
Just my opinion, but I think the background music is a little loud and drowns you out at some points. Just stumbled upon your channel and you seem really chill and interesting to watch!
that face
who else just skipped to the comeback
hahaha Vicarious joy.
Your music is way too loud. Nice vid man:)
pretty good rofl
I wish the paladin won
it was hard to here your voice in between the game noise and the music ... it was extremely hard to hear you when you were talking about the donation from germany
How does I get cards like Sluge Belcher in golden???
+Zombie Heart craft them duh
this game was kinda done 5-10 minutes in. No comeback really happened, just a priest clearing out secret pally with spells. Nice to see it happening but nothing too interesting

to be fair this is NOT an "!epic comeback" ... u win with like every card with taunt or high attack xD
Music 09:10 anyone
SO FK TOP DECK
It is really difficult to understand him, with the music, the game sound effects, him talking very calm and sometimes breathing the words out rather than putting some voice into them. Also him leaning back and probably being far away from the mic doesn't help^^

Secret Paladins deserve to die for not being creative enough to craft their own decks.
