IDK if anyone's told you, but there IS a mod that allows you to romance the 'older' singles of Pelican Town -including Gus. It's called 'Looking For Love Redux' on Nexus

You can place the torches on the sprinklers now to help light up your garden at night.
Omni Geodes. Trade at desert trader (3) for desert warp totem. This gets to the desert early. I mean early. Necessary for getting deep in skull. That and a down, down, down, ignore everything mentality. You always get at least 3 omni on any skull run, so the desert warp totem is self sustaining.
also 10 iridium bars for the desert warp recipe: 4 iridium ore, one coconut and 1 or 2 hardwood!

Since you started this series you got me into Stardew. So far I have put over 400 hours into the game
Tailoring using the sewing machine: if you want a black leather jacket, any kind of alcohol will work. Use a bomb to get a bomber jacket (it goes well with the fedora!) You can use a powdermelon to make long pants. Rainbow shells can be used to dye the pants whatever color you want.

I just got the final mastery yesterday actually :D Best hint I could give anyone is to use the Galaxy hammer when you unlock the sword. They sell it in the adventure guild aftr you unlock the sword as I only just found out. It is slower than the sword but it has a nice big bonk that sends annoying enemies flying and its got an amazing defence boost on it. The defence really makes the difference for clumsy buggers like me who face tank everything. It is like +5 defence when you hold the hammer. Absolutely amazing
I married Elliott on my most recent farm and he is such a good husband, so romantic. Makes me swoon. I need an Elliott IRL. 😅AND, he never gives up his dream, he gets to become an author and travel, so I am so damn happy there’s one bachelor that doesn’t have to give up anything or change to be with the farmer. I don’t know. I just love Elliott. I still can’t believe a bunch of pixels can make me swoon 😂😂😂
You don't need Void Mayo for Krobus. Krobus loves void eggs. If the void egg has a star quality then you will get more friendship points. Also, Krobus loves Horseradish so any of those foraged in Spring are good and they can have a star quality. With botanist (forage 10) they will be iridium quality. Big friendship points.
edit: BTW the rock crab spawn rate difference is 15% for the lower levels and 25% for the 80+ levels. Even at 25% the rock crab is the last monster to attempt to spawn so the effective result(%) is less than the 25% attempt. This being last is a contributor for why rock crabs are hard to find. Also more monsters types possible on 80+.

Yep, I recall buttering Krobus up with horseradish. Similar for other people, Robin likes hardwood, so good and plentiful enough to gift her, no need to gift only the bestest items
I know everyone hates on the slingshot but the master slingshot lets you use explosive ammo (can craft or buy) and it makes finding holes/ladders in the skull mines sooo much easier and saves your bombs for bigger more concentrated areas in the middle
The ammo explodes when it hits a wall or enemy so it makes blowing up rocks along the edges way faster!!
You have the good mummy sword so you won’t need it for them but I never use it for combat haha other than mummies, i solely keep it on me just for exploding some rocks
Gab you can tell the diference by the shadows, a normal rock has a pointy edge on the left of the shadow while a rock-crab has a round shadow
With the rock crabs, I notice where they are based on placement. They're always slightly off with the row they're in

Since Gab completed the Crafts Room of the Community Center, wanted to share the first time we did that in our group, someone was stuck behind a chair that appeared when it was finished and thus he wasn't able to go to bed, ha
You know in 1.6 you can put those candles on top of the sprinklers so your garden is lit, but don't take up space. I love this feature.
You know you are playing Stardew a lot as well, when you subconsciously try to move her mouse to look hover over an item in the hot bar and forget this is her game not yours xD

I’m sure someone’s mentioned it, but carrots are good to give your horse! You get an extra speed boost

A tip for ancient fruit planting if you're not planting them all at once. If you plant ancient fruit seeds on the same day as the fruit appears on an existing ancient fruit plant, the seeds will mature and grow fruit on the same cycle as the existing ones.

Watching you play Stardew for the last however long has made me want to try and actually complete the game for the first time. I'm on Summer year 4 which is the longest I've ever played, and I've completed the Community Centre, the museum and I've almost gotten all the obelisks. I'm so proud of myself, thank you making this game even more enjoyable to play! You're the best ❤
Has anyone told you that you can fish diagonally? If you move wasd after you cast the bobber and before it hits the water you might be able to reach spots you couldn't before :) Love your videos, thanks for Goobus 1.6!!
I know it has been said before, but Gab's luck at this game is ridiculously amazing!!! She just finds ancient seeds like they are mixed seeds, like wow!!!

I remember lingcods! One of the hardest fish to catch. I always had to have dish o the sea and special bobbers to even have a chance.

There are coal nodes in the new quarry dungeon area. You need a gold pickaxe to bust the boulder to get into that area. Stones spawn fresh once a day in the quarry dungeon.
Help requests from the bulletin board in town are always 2 days! If you pick it up in the evening you essentially only have a couple of hours and then the next day will be the final day. Hope this helps 👵🌱✨

You can find snow yams in any diggable snow, it's the crocus that's the trickiest part of the bundle. I'm going to try making winter seeds and getting the forage early from the greenhouse. That's the big brain play I hope I don't forget.

Wizard lives quarts, you can use the gem you got from the lava in his room, you need to get to four hearts first with the wizard in order to unlock it. I won’t tell you what happens next!

idk if it's changed with the 1.6 patch, but I used to crack open the mystic stone first thing in the morning and see if I get a prismatic shard. If I don't get one, I reset the day and try again the following morning until I get a shard.
Just found out that you can fish out a iridium Krobus statue!!!!! This has really nothing to do with what is going on but I thought it'd be nice to know
