The fashion style would be based off of a business professional look for one outfit and then the casual look being a flannel, cow boy boots and jeans....(okay maybe a little themed after my life as a teacher) I wish they would come out with red/pink/gold/or other fun color eyes too!
For Dulce's curls, use perm rods, instead of foam rollers and let it dry fully or for a few days. I did it on my Kia doll and she had a really pretty afro for a few months before I put it back to its original style. Or maybe the nylon might have different properties,(some colors will hold a curl better than others, some are shiny, some are dull, etc.) I also did it with my S2 Amaya, I did the perm rods looser so the curls wouldn't be as tight and it worked. I'd also recommend using endpapers. Or just watch Zombiexcorn's video on doing Kia's hair.
Your customs are good! So creative. I actually have a few doubles that I’m terrified to custom because they are in really good condition. I’ve seen other UA-camrs finding RH dolls 2nd hand that are already busted from being played with, I would feel better trashing their hair…..hmmmm, haven’t found one yet….I love your idea of making your own series. Your customs are so fun and creative! I’ve done a few rainbow high customs and did the makeup it was very fun but it was a mess! If you need any help with makeup make sure you remove the eyes before the paint and make sure you layer the sealant very well! I recommend 4-5 layers while putting a plastic bag on the repainted head the paint may come off in the water if the bags gone but I 100% relate to filling out the rainbow with the low number colors my recent customs have been red and yellow as there haven’t been much for those colors 😅💞💖(also small addition once any makeup and repaint is done mostly the eyes be very careful while inserting the eyes as there’s a pretty likely chance the paint will be chipped off)

So, I stand by my Rit dyed customs, I have never had it backfire. But I will give you the fact that I can't paint the scalp when I dye the hair and it IS mildly irritating sometimes to see Sunny's goofy yellow scalp on Ash and Melody...

Have you tried using Goo Gone for Minty's hair? I use it all the time for gluey hair and seems to work great for me! I just leave it in for about 5-15 mins, or even 30 depending on how bad the glue seepage is before washing it out. It does have an odd smell when you apply it, but you should get it to disappear with some dryer sheets and/or scented shampoo/conditioner
The 4th custom with krystals eye shadow I think the contrast is AMAZING I love the eye shadow on her but I have my faith in u to choose a good colour instead of the purple

I do a lot of thrifting and hunting for good deals online/waiting for clearance as well. Mostly though if I want more stuff, I pick up another job or more hours if I can. I’ve been in school studying for my master’s degree but I just got hired at a salaried position in my field so I won’t have to do that anymore- thank goodness.

I have a question for you I have both series 1&2 plus the Amaya Raine studio and Kia Hart As much as I want to buy Jett I just can't justify spending that much on a doll that may have faults with it as im in Australia so the price tag has already doubled for me 🥺 Anyway I digress my question is how do I take the numbers and letters off of the cheer dolls because I decided that I want to have the second outfits used but can not afford to buy 2 of each doll when the cheer dolls are only $29 in our target here. To take off face paint use a nail polish remover with acetone in it. I would say boiling the head and popping out the eyes before you do this is the best plan since if you get a bit of the nail polish remover the eyes can be damaged
Have you seen the Rainbow High: Fantasy Friends dolls? Not a big fan of LOL adjacent dolls but I would love to hear your thoughts! Apparently they throw up glitter slime 🤣
I actually think they’re gorgeous. Never got them because I just prefer dolls. I have a few of the poopsie critters and they’re so well designed and pretty!
