Straight vibes. This podcast is so chill if you're into gardening. I didn't even know garlic scapes were a thing.

Everyone goes on about how easy garlic is, but I have a terrible problem with allium root maggots…lost a good portion of my first ever crop. Now that I know these nasty creatures exist, I’m pretty sure I’ve had them for years. If a vegetable can get a pest, they find my garden 😭😭😭 so sad. I’m not growing any alliums (other than maybe bunching onions picked small) for a few years and will probably also try beneficial nematodes. But now I’m also worried that my ornamental alliums might be part of the problem…Gardening is a STRUGGLE, but I’m still trying.
