I started college about 3 years ago and I find that time has slowed down a bit since then.If you do the same things over and over again they start to become everyday and mundane. All memory is, is a recollection of somewhat significant events in your life; all the normal everyday stuff is usually forgotten. If, for example, the last significant thing you done was have a big get-together with some friends that you remember very well, and 6 months later you haven't done anything except playing video games everyday. When you think back to that get-together 6 month ago you've likely forgotten about most of the days spent play video games, so between now and then you don't remember much and that 6 month seems like it when by a lot faster. I find the best thing to do is try new and different things from time to time, take up new hobbies, hangout with friends more, anything that well create a significant memory.

As someone that can attest to remembering 1985 I miss it everyday.and I can attest to the fact that time does indeed make fools of us all.
and please note that it's not because of the music that I missed 1985 it was right before my grandmother died and I miss her every day. The music just has the added advantage to make me remember all that.

I find that it helps if you mix things up a bit. I started college about 3 years ago and I find that time has slowed down a bit since then.If you do the same things over and over again they start to become everyday and mundane. All memory is, is a recollection of somewhat significant events in your life; all the normal everyday stuff is usually forgotten.
If, for example, the last significant thing you done was have a big get-together with some friends that you remember very well, and 6 months later you haven't done anything except playing video games everyday. When you think back to that get-together 6 month ago you've likely forgotten about most of the days spent play video games, so between now and then you don't remember much and that 6 month seems like it when by a lot faster. I find the best thing to do is try new and different things from time to time, take up new hobbies, hangout with friends more, anything that well create a significant memory.
