There's an astonishingly low amount of content on youtube for people trying to learn this game, given how complex it secretly is. You're the only content creator I could find who makes dedicated videos for this game, and you clearly put a lot of effort into these videos. Criminally underrated channel you've got going here dude. Keep going.
Just picked this game up and I've been learning a lot of tech from these videos. Appreciate the great videos. Lauren is a beast. Soon as I get comfortable with her I'll have to add her to the squad
Wow this is just so cool, love how not only you break down her normals, specials and her movement properties you actually break up the comboes using each move individually and even pointing out what to practice. Stuff like that is perfect for me and my learning style so thank you. You got a new sub today dude.
I know it’s an old guide but anyone struggling with flame corridor, just push 2s first instead of 5s. Just something I noticed, helped me with execution
Of all the fighting games out right now, PFTG is highly underrated...coming from a busted Release to what it is now just shows how much confidence this team was of the product it had. To continually upgrade and improvise its game to meet the player’s expectations is just dope. Wish more companies learn from this
Wow as a sentai fan I'm got this game just for her and she is great also this guide is so good specially when you are new or rusty in fighting games. I followed this guide combo by combo and was able to get then all and even made some variations on my own. Thanks a lot!
There's a trini tod with assists idk if other will work, but I use Magna & R.J. assists. Jumping heavy into light low, light auto combo, crouching light, heavey restand, light into medium auto, jumping light into heavy, rejumping loght into heavy, couching low to catch, heavy auto for knock down, stand special (otg) into magna assist, standing special (otg) into R.J. assist, level 1, standing special (otg) into level 2, and it can be done at 1 bar. It does 1020 if done correctly! Please can you look more into it, because I want to see if you can optimise it more.
Yes. It's staggered timing between the L and M. L on the way up, M on the down. Check out my, "What changed", vid for Lauren too for more up-to-date changed and combos. Hope this helps.
Thts actually a good question. I need to play her more, but with what experience I currently have with her, she seems like an all-rounder, leaning more towards a point or anchor. Point: She does well behind assists with her air mobility and range and she can kill for 1 bar if u get a confirm off of flame carpet. Mid: her assist is serviceable. Butterflies can help out with a zoney playstyle and is good to tag into in some situations like off of hard knockdown. Assist is slow which keeps it from being great though. Anchor: She can kill u for 1 bar off of flame carpet confirm.
For the second combo I'm having trouble after the air light air mid straight into the air light mid heavy usually the opponent is already on the ground before I can get the second part of the air combo out how do u make it faster
Are u staggering the first airL/M? There is a slight stagger between the L and M. This will cause u to hit the opponent with M while ur descending. This should give u the time u need to jump back up for the airL/M/H. Hope this helps.
i dont understand how do u get to the corner with combo at 27.20 personally after that 2nd 5s im still midscreen does map size change because im in training room ?
I am absolutely BEGGING. BEGGING someone to help translate all the fight stick combo notation into xbox or numbered controller notation. I have been trying too on the wiki but it takes me forever because I don't speak fight stick notation naturally at all. I would give people so many hugs and cookies if someone would help do that notation in a way that I do not have the skills to do.
Hey there! I just linked my, "what changed" vid for lauren at the end of the tutorial. This tutorial was before I started using number notation. Check the, "what changed" vid. I have some combos with number notation. Hope this helps.
Lmao im sorry its just funny having trouble with those inputs fpr the command normal.... Try something like a pretzle or even a half circle back forward

That's the goal! Glad it helped and welcome to the grid!
people who make 30 minute character guides for semi-obscure kusoge fighting games are the underappreciated saviors of the FGC
Im getting sooooo many Naoto Kurogane vibes from this character
Yo facts
Keep up the great vids dude!
Thanks abunch!

Fr tho 😂, she rlly kills with a single bar
she's literally the best character in the game i love her so much
I just don't understand the sexond combo, like is there a timing to have with the first air l+m ? I just always don't get the time to jump
Yes. It's staggered timing between the L and M. L on the way up, M on the down. Check out my, "What changed", vid for Lauren too for more up-to-date changed and combos. Hope this helps.
@@ParkerLad88 wow thanks so much for the quick answer even on am older vid!
I'm being reminded of Corin from smash 4
lol
Is she a point, mid, or anchor?
