I’ve got both: GG B100 1ADR and GWG 1000 1A3. Love both of them but the GWG 1000 is a work of art. The most badass watch ever. Makes you feel good when you look at it. Has that tactical, military, manly look. Simply love it. Worth every cent.
Hey man, love your videos and enthusiasm, I subscribed instantly. I'm going to buy my first ever Casio watch on Monday and it's a GWG-1000-1A3ER. Can't wait. It's 660 EUR here in my country for brand new. It's the cheapest I could find since they are quite hard to find these days. But I think it's worth every penny. It's going to replace my Suunto 9 Baro as a everyday watch.
Man great video as always. I did a similar topic on my channel comparing the GG-B100 vs the GWG-1000. It's almost surprising they are both called a Mudmaster as they are so different. But both great pieces. Cheers...
Hello Stormrider have a nice day. I want to ask you 2 questions. The luminescence of the gwg-1000 why it discharges so quickly. I charge it with the sun or a strong light and within minutes it discharges. And the other question is that sometimes the multi-band 6 doesn't always connect, and I heard in this video that you use the cell phone to synchronize the gwg-1000, I want to know how you do that.
Solid review on my favorite watch. I’ve got Rolex, breitling and by far the GWG is my got to. Living on a mountain and hiking all the time I constantly use it’s functions. I also do metal work wearing it and have yet to hurt the watch. Just wish they would release a luxury model of the GWG kind of like the MR-G. Only complaint I’ve ever had about the watch is proprietary straps and the barometer doesn’t calculate for altitude.
@@LordTechPro incorrect, the barometer reading is calculated for sea level and doesn’t make in watch adjustments for altitude. And there’s only one strap adapter that I know of and it’s junk.
@@LordTechPro yes I know but I don’t think you have a firm understanding of what living in a mountain town means. If I’m always going up and down 100 to several hundred and often times thousands of feet throughout the day it’s useless. My point was, this watch has the computing power to adjust for altitude to show proper pressures because it knows the altitude yet its not a built in function. I know how to use the watch and set a base. But what good does that do if I’m constantly going up and down. I drive daily to slc as well which is a couple thousand feet lower than my house and it’s not like I’m always at 4400 or 4600 or 7600. Ultimately you’re not understanding, the watch should be making these calculations and displaying the pressure accordingly
@@KidRichmond No it should not. Also I think it's highly unlikely that you go upto 7600 meters as it is nearly impossible for humans to survive above 6000m. Do you take oxygen tanks and distributors with you? The Triple sensor features are not meant to be used alone, if you really need an accurate barometer there are other options. This is to avoid legal liability. Does any other G-SHOCK or Casio watch have the functionality you are talking about? Also why would you want to install third party straps? The straps are part of the G-SHOCK shock resistant structure, by removing the band you are removing the most important part of the shock resistance. Each part on a G-SHOCK is designed to absorb and spread out shocks, third part straps would simply destroy the lugs and expose the movement to unnecessarily high shocks
Im the same man, i just like wearing a g shock! I dont have nearly as many as you but i do have 10 gshock watches! Right now im wearing the GG-B100-1a3 and I absolutely love this watch

Gbb100 for me... I just like new stuff. The latest model is just way more updated for me. The gwg is a neo-classic. Good for future antique collectors.
I ordered the gg-b100 as a possible replacement for the GW-9300 (Japan version with radio). After a week I am back to the GW-9300. The GG-B100 is a beautiful watch but readability and operation there is nothing about my digital Mudmaster also wearing comfort at least, in the Japan version is better. And that I must think at some point to battery change and that not all watchmakers perform, because relatively complicated with the GG-B100. And since I'm also not a big Bluetooth fan. I sold them on cheap.
Why your wtach b-100 glow in dark so bright .. mine only when got sunlight then couple minute it done glow.. not even when i push light button still not glow dark
I like it in black too. …….. Did you ever check out the MR-G? I think I remember your video about getting the red one. …. By the way, it doesn't look oversized on you.
If only the new Carbon Core Mudmasters (and their siblings) had tough solar, they would be perfect. But since they don't The best is still the GWG-1000.
Believe me .. you don't want it solar ... if you don't wear it, the battery goes down ... you can't put it with other watches in the closet .. you have to wear it regularly
As someone who owns and has thoroughly tested both and done a video on my channel in this I believe they are both great and have their own place depending on what you want - functionality is significantly different. I personally wouldn't be too concerned about solar or not. I love solar too but because of the Power Save (PS) Mode on both you will be very unlikely to ever get caught out by low battery on either. Cheers!
