2:50 so something to keep in mind when looking at EPA this way, it is not opponent adjusted. The Ravens first half schedule was substantially harder than the second half schedule, at least in terms of the offenses they played. So the jump in EPA is exaggerated simply because of that. If you look at DVOA, they were like 16th in defensive DVOA through the first 10 weeks (higher than unadjusted stats because of the powerhouse offenses they played) and are 4th in defensive DVOA by the end of the season (lower than unadjusted because of the poor offenses they played). Improvement is still real but the the "worst to first" narrative only exists if you don't take into account all the contexts.
I just pointed this out too. They played the giants, browns, steelers, and texans. All those offenses are horrible besides the texans, and the texans offense is still pretty bad
Im a Ravens fan and I was thinking the same thing. In the start of the season it was exaggerated because of course Chase is going to get his yards. And in the back half it's exaggerated the other way. But the improvement is definitely still real.
I still can't get over all thede new bills fans that came out of left field 2 years ago. If you are older than 9 years old and all of a sudden wearing a bills jersey, you will never ever truly understand what it's like. to be a bills fan. I know a true bills fan when i talk to one. I’m only 14 but I’ve been jumping through tables sense I came out the womb. My dads been watching sense he was a boy and he said he’s sick seeing all the hate for a team this good
Josh is going to have to run and scramble because if they don’t target Brandon Stephens he’s not throwing to any open targets. Marlo got straps and Wiggins does too. I even forgot to mention Kyle and AD patrolling deep. Buffalo needs to scheme some short throws and check downs.
You expecting the Ravens to do what nobody has done. Allen has consistently been putting up 30 in every game against the best defenses. Also, bills can take over dominating by the run. I think it all comes down to if the Bills can stop Henry. That's super hard to do, but if they can it's Bills win. If not, it's a shootout.
Cut Eddie Jackson, put Humphrey in the slot, and moved Hamilton to a more free safety position. Greatly limited explosive plays. However, they also played some of the best offenses in the first half of the year (Bengals 2x, Commanders, Bucs, Bills too), and some not-that-great ones later in the year, so the effect this had is a big exaggerated.
I think you missed the Bills Defense having their players back. In the Ravens game, No Milano, No Bernard, No Taron Johnson, Lost rapp early in game, No Jordan Phillips. Going to be much closer then last time for sure. I still give the edge to the bills because if the game is tied and only 4 to 5 minutes left in the game I trust Josh Allen more to execute a 5 minute drive with a FG to win. The big thing that would completely favor the Bills is if they get a lead early in the game, how will the Ravens offense look? Because Lamar playing with a lead is unstoppable but when he plays from behind, less Derrick henry and more Lamar passing which is what I think they want. This is going to be one hell of a game, but Bills definitely have a chance.
Lamar has never had an issue playing from behind. It's more of when the coordinator stops calling run plays. When we are behind and we still run we win.

Broncos defense is good, but their lack of an offense gave the Bills offense a lot more chances. Bo Nix looked good, but the receivers sucked and dropped a lot. If the Bills can't slow down the Ravens run game like last time, their offense won't see the field much. It's a snow game that'll be run-heavy, that favors Bmore + their TEs. Their run defense is also a lot better than Buffalo's, and they got their best run stuffer back (he was out last time). I'm leaning Ravens, Brady's gonna have to scheme a run game to control TOP. I'd expect screens & stretch runs since Ravens DL will slow a lot of the run down, it's gonna come down to if Bills' front 7 can slow Henry down enough without also getting burned by Lamar and the TEs. Kicking's also gonna be a factor in this weather.

As a Bills fan, I really appreciate Jackson's balance. I don't think their first game is relevant since those were all backup LBs and defensive backs, not who will play Sunday. Also, Bills didn't gel yet, like we did scoring 30+ in about 8 games in a row against top playoff trams.
Ravens also got considerably better since that game. DC had only 3 games of playcalling experience, Tucker's improved his yips. They replaced half their starting secondary (who at the time allowed the most pass yds & pass TDs), got better at LB, and got their best run stuffer NT Michael Pierce back. He's a big part of their run defense and pass rush. Bills run defense should be better but they still have to defend Lamar's running + the TEs. Tough assignment for the LBs. This game could go either way, but given the weather I'd give the edge to the Ravens' run game.
The real problem is that they only put up 10 points against the Ravens defense, which is now better in every way. Allen has to be superman and the bills defense has to sell out to the run, while still containing the intermediate pass game. Lamar is great when blitzed so the pass game will be on for the ravens. The bills don't match up well in this game, and it'll take a massive effort from allen, cook and their line to stay in it.
Stephens is genuinely 1 of the weakest starting CBs in the league this year. Athletic and sticky, but never turns his head and can't make a play on the ball. The mvp is such a joke of an award these days Allen shouldve won it 2 years ago. Joe burrow deserves it imo. It should go to the player most valuable to their team. Lamar has 8-10 pro bowlers on offense mvp doesnt make sense for lamar
As a Bills fan, I wish this game was in a dome... We could air it out and have a chance; Allens stats in a dome are amazing... But an air raid offense in buffalo in January spells disaster.... Ravens probably win by 10
Man I also wish they could play inna weather controlled environment. I want to watch the heavyweights fight, not play in abnormal conditions. Never understood people that like watching non-peak performances.
I think the game is going to go like it did last time. It might sound like a cop out considering it was week 4 but Derrick Henry in his last 5 games is averaging around 140 YPG. We know how influential Lamar and Henry are to each others games and I think the play action and RPO’s are going to be too much. As long as the defense stays consistent to how it has been since week 11 and Jeremy Stephen’s doesn’t give up big plays and multiple touchdowns. 30-21 Ravens
@@sarahchristine2345over confidence is killer 😂 im not dumb enough to think this game is a forgone conclusion in either direction. This will be a good game.

@@noahmichael2213 The Ravens 🐦⬛ did “hang”with the Bills this year oooo . Yeah the Ravens rolled the Bills up and smoked them. But I know the Bills isn’t a great team
I just don't think the Bills match up very well with the Ravens. Everything the Ravens do well on offense the Bills struggle with on defense and the Bills don't have the personnel this year to just chuck it around against the Baltimore secondary like a Cincy, Philly or Detroit. Baltimore is very stout in the trenches as well, so I doubt Cook will be as dominant as he was against Denver, which will just result in the same ol' Bills script of needing Josh Allen to be Superman. Baltimore 31 Bills 21
@@chopin1990 ravens fan here good luck to yall man . i disagree with the chiefs take tho i don’t think they can stop are run game like they could before due to them being like 10th in the league against the run they also aren’t very good against the pass like last year being 18th in the league i think us or the bills beat them in the afc the only worry id say is the chiefs have gotten a great deal healthier on the offensive side of the ball
I think we are losing. It sucks to say. My thoughts is this reminds me of the bangles vs bills ironically division round. The reason I think it is if u look back at that season the bills beat KC by 2 in the regular season but, would have lost to bangles if Damar’a tragedy. Which was no one’s fault. However, the bills got crushed in divisional round.
I do think overall the ravens are a more balanced team than the bills, i think the Ravens have a better chance to win, the bills kinda need to make it a shootout to win
(1) Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen are not "two great quarterbacks." At this point neither would be voted into the Hall of Fame. Neither has won a Super Bowl. Neither has even played in a Super Bowl. Lamar has a losing career playoff record, 3-4. (2) Because they're playing at Buffalo where the Bills are 9-0 this year, and because Buffalo is playing well, I'm picking the Bills to beat the Ravens.
Lamar has two mvps and and three first team all pros at this moment. He would go in the hall if he retired today. And the ravens have a winning matchup. I am not saying it is a blowout, but the ravens win this. Stop the cope.
@@MateoMcCathern-i2r, (1) MVPs are difference makers who help their team win championships. If Lamar is really MVP then the Ravens should win this game and Lamar should be the reason why the Ravens win, right? (2) That said, nobody gave Lamar and the Ravens the opportunity to play in this weekend's game. They went out and earned the right to do that. So maybe, finally, Lamar will win an important playoff game on the road.
The ravens have played the following teams since the bye. Steelers, browns, texans, and giants. Those are some of the worst offenses in the league by far. The only exception is Houston, and their offense has still been pretty bad. The ravens defense is not fixed. Joe brady and the bills are putting at least a 30 burger on em. Ravens will need to score to win.
@ I agree, it’s likely gonna be a shootout. But not necessarily, I still think lamar can just choke the game away. If he doesn’t, then the game will be extremely close. I wouldn’t be shocked if the game isn’t that close and the bills win convincingly.
Where do you dweebs come up with the copy and paste arguments?? Lol, the Ravens are playing way better football than they were in week 4. Lamar has 2 interceptions since week 4. Get ready for the real MV3 to pull up and show out.
The defense is definitely largely improved, but you're right that it looks exaggerated because of their opponents. I don't buy that they're really the best defense in the league now, but I also think they're much better than the worst passing defense they were at the start of the year. Should be a good game.
I think people are underestimating just how "banged up" Buffalo was in week 4. We were missing Taylor Rapp, Terrel Bernard, Matt Milano, Taron Johnson, Amari Cooper, and Khalil Shakir had a high ankle sprain early in that game. Baltimore's offense is good enough to move the rock some, but it will be nothing like the cakewalk they had in week 4. Anyway, I see a high scoring game. Go Bills!!! 🦬 🦬 🦬
Anyway, it would be akin to Baltimore coming into Buffalo without: Kyle Hamilton, Marlon Humphrey, Roquan Smith, their next best LB, plus take out Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman. Ain't nobody (sane, lol) saying that the outcome would be the same without those gents playing. Obviously, missing that number of key players will have some impact. Now how much, ...exactly? Idk. Remains to be seen. I don't like seeing injuries used as an excuse, but c'mon now. Let's at least be realistic. 😂
One thing I would assume for you to do is PLEASE ADD CONTEXT. These past few weeks who have the ravens faced that jump out the screen to you that really makes you think oh the defense is leagues better now cause they stopped *checks notes* Russel Wilson and the fucking giants??? Lmao come on yall

I always have faith in 8, but its ignorant to ignore his oast performances. I think this will be a great game between 2 of the top 3 QBs in the league. Josh Allen will not have a game like week 4 again, hes too good for that. I think this will be a shootout weather permitting, if its bad and forces more running, im not sure the bills can keep pace with that. Either way im excited, forst playoff game im going to in person and I cant wait to freeze my ass off and experiencethe Bills mafia!
bills ravens game is just the battle of who losses to Mahomes next round… both teams way overrated
go bills
The mvp is such a joke of an award these days Allen shouldve won it 2 years ago. Joe burrow deserves it imo. It should go to the player most valuable to their team. Lamar has 8-10 pro bowlers on offense mvp doesnt make sense for lamar
As a Bills fan, I wish this game was in a dome... We could air it out and have a chance; Allens stats in a dome are amazing... But an air raid offense in buffalo in January spells disaster.... Ravens probably win by 10
Yeah Buffalo hasn’t had an “air raid” offense in 2 years. They’ve been one of the run heaviest teams in the league with Brady
Pretty sure they ran it 30 times Sunday.
Some “fan” you are…
Man I also wish they could play inna weather controlled environment.
Yeah against all trash teams… but we’ll see 😉
Who had the harder schedule?? Your team in the least competitive division in the NFL looked trash against us 😉
@@sarahchristine2345over confidence is killer 😂 im not dumb enough to think this game is a forgone conclusion in either direction. This will be a good game.
The Bills will win comfortably. The Ravens can't hang with really great teams and haven't been able to all year long. That's not suddenly going to change because it's the playoffs. Cap this post and in 5 days you can apologize
@@noahmichael2213 The Ravens 🐦⬛ did “hang”with the Bills this year oooo . Yeah the Ravens rolled the Bills up and smoked them. But I know the Bills isn’t a great team
WHAT? Bills are. 3-3 vs playoff teams, Ravens are 8-3
@@dmon100-k8zI think he sped
lol someone's bitter about the last blowout
@ The Eagles rolled the Ravens. Look for a game similar to that. I'd love for the Ravens to win but this iteration of the Ravens can't hang
Ravens beat Bills, Chiefs and win the Super Bowl. 🐦⬛😈🏆💍
Pretty accurate... And then the Ravens cant beat the Chiefs because the chiefs can neutralize the ravens run game... the cycle continues
@@SurlyDuff814 I got ravens 35-20
@@chopin1990 ravens fan here good luck to yall man . i disagree with the chiefs take tho i don’t think they can stop are run game like they could before due to them being like 10th in the league against the run they also aren’t very good against the pass like last year being 18th in the league i think us or the bills beat them in the afc the only worry id say is the chiefs have gotten a great deal healthier on the offensive side of the ball
goodbye lamar fraudman
I know u lying
I think we are losing. It sucks to say. My thoughts is this reminds me of the bangles vs bills ironically division round. The reason I think it is if u look back at that season the bills beat KC by 2 in the regular season but, would have lost to bangles if Damar’a tragedy. Which was no one’s fault. However, the bills got crushed in divisional round.
I do think overall the ravens are a more balanced team than the bills, i think the Ravens have a better chance to win, the bills kinda need to make it a shootout to win
@@timothycordwell1401 they are both great teams I like the Bills but my Ravens are super freak great 👍 💜🖤💜🖤🐦⬛
@ I like both teams I feel like this should be the afc champion game.
We don't need this film study because the Ravens are going to win. 💪🏿
Neither did Dan Marino......no SB wins
Lamar has two mvps and and three first team all pros at this moment. He would go in the hall if he retired today. And the ravens have a winning matchup. I am not saying it is a blowout, but the ravens win this. Stop the cope.
@@MateoMcCathern-i2rlol muh fake mvp
@@CoHeirMultimedia Dan Marino led his team to a Super Bowl
Steelers browns and Texans all have better def than the bills. They might put up 30 but so will the ravens
