Keeping a Promise: Returning Sonoran Pronghorn to Mexico

In the early 2000s, Arizona's endangered Sonoran pronghorn population plummeted to 21 animals. Sonora, Mexico sent six animals to Arizona to start a captive breeding program. The Arizona Game and Fish Dept. promised to return the favor one day. That day came at the end of 2022.
