Just married my triple cap man, last month. We both bump heads here and there but we’ve both learned to be really expressive and verbally communicative with each other so we can see things from the others perspective. Truly feels like a match made in heaven.

I am a capricorn and my husband and daughter are both virgo. They are so much more EMOTIONAL than I am. Let's take shopping, I don't just run out an buy stuff. I like to research and take my time. This drives my husband nuts. He also keeps stuff around to use later. This drives me nuts. Over all, though, our relationship has survived because we both have our strengths, and the fact that we love each other deeply.
I'm a Virgo who has a lot of Capricorns in her life. All I have to say is that I appreciate Capricorns for what they are, their work ethic is top notch and highly admirable. There's a natural draw to them for me, sometimes it isn't even on a conscious level. As in I don't notice myself being attracted until after the fact. There's just something very reassuring about Capricorns as I think the two signs really get each other on a different level. Capricorns are very put together and very serious and Virgos like that. Sometimes with my Capricorn friends and ex-lovers it just seems that we operate on the same frequency and that kind of connection can feel magical to a Virgo whom doesn't get to establish that kind of relationship with many people, not out of shyness but it's just we're very selective as to whom we let in and whom we really care about. With Capricorns I feel that because we agree on so many of the same things, it's hard to not be friendly towards them.
Compatibility wise, I would say overall, Virgo/Capricorn are better off as friends. Virgos in love are very caring and very giving, but from my personal experience is that we're perhaps always going to be the one giving and tending after the Capricorn whom are always 'busy'. At first a Virgo might be moved by this and might want to go and improve the life of their Capricorn, but unless otherwise reinforced, the Virgo will see that this is unnecessary, as it is not their job to do so, and I've often noticed, Capricorns don't show the same attention to detail as Virgos do so this creates an imbalance in the relationship.
I tend to find the Capricorns are cold and unexpressive. They're hard to read when it comes to their feelings and never seem to want to open up. I remember more than once I look at some of the Capricorns I know and wonder if they actually have feelings at all. For Virgos we're very realistic. It is one thing to be fascinated or in deep admiration of someone, but totally another when you ask yourself if you actually want to be in a committed, long term relationship with a Capricorn, who will always have other things first and put you second. Personally, as perfect as they seem to check off in the other departments I find Capricorns too detached and too into themselves and their goals to be an appealing romantic partner. I'm sure they're capable of deep commitment and love but their style and approach to love is just not for me.
Thea Mjolnir Thea Mjolnir i like your comment. Im a virgo moon&rising with capricorn sun and capricorn cusp on venus and mercury. Everyone has just as many emotions as someone else but not expressing them doesnt make somebody unemotional. With caps its like u gotta get trough all those walls that they've built. But under that reserved aura theres a joyus and humorous character. Rare people bring that out in a capricorn
You do have a valid point. I was writing in general the things I observed in Capricorns. I do notice that with the Capricorns I'm close with they can be very patient and can be quite humorous to be around. And I do notice that if you can get a Capricorn to laugh and have fun with you then you probably mean quite a bit to them (I know this from personal experience) because like you said, usually with other people they're quite serious and reserved. And of course there are other subtle signs they give off when they like you, but everything is very much subtle, as if they EXPECT you to pick it up and just 'know'. Um... doesn't always work??
Another thing is, I find that they can also shut right off just like that when something happens (also from personal experience). Any idea why this is? I am a Virgo with a mind that often overthinks and my Mercury is in Libra which means I like to weighs things out in pros and cons, and I think to myself do I always want to be doing something, like giving more of myself than the other person in a relationship, being the understanding one, or always having to work for certain things just to get somewhere with a Capricorn who holds other people up to such a high standard as well (just like Virgos, but at least we show through action and keeping our promises that we care for you and LOVE you) with Capricorns I'm never sure as to what is the grand gesture of love...is it making plans with you, sending you gifts or just even just talking to you when they're busy and checking in on you? You see all of these things would just be your everyday with every other sign in the zodiac...so I'm NEVER sure.
So I ask myself do I want to give myself a break and not have to work for it all the time just for them to show me some evidence of how they're really feeling towards me cause they're so guarded with their emotions and go for something easier to manage, because I'd rather not be second guessing everything. I mean it is very flattering to have someone like a Capricorn to open up to you and commit to you, but it is also annoying to be pushed to the side and having to BEG for them to open up to you when something comes up and not knowing where you stand with them. Just my thoughts.

It sounds to me like you hang around with immature out of touch capricorns. I for one, am a Capricorn and I'm just dying inside to find people (especially virgos) to open my heart out too. I would love to tell someone everything I'm feeling without being hurt and misunderstood. It's really sad when I can't even open up to my own family. 😥
Imagine being in a prison that you can't ever leave, unless the "perfect" person you need to get you to come out, comes along with the key to unlock you from your own torture. Thats a very long dreadful wait. That's what feels like everyday, I'm not willing to sacrifice who I am to let people know all of my deepest darkest secrets unless.... unless I trust and care about you enough to do so. Because I hate being caught of guard, it hurts a lot.
Of course capricorns have really high standards, and this can be very annoying to air and fire signs because Capricorns don't like low quality experiences. No offense to anyone that does. But it's who we are, it's what we are here for, to shoot for the stars, to be the best. I will never settle for less, I enjoy having the best. I figure as long as I'm not an asshole about it, and try to control everyone to reach my goals like hitler or some other dictator. (Hitler had a Capricorn moon btw) Then I'm doing good in my eyes, and definitely in everyone else's eyes I believe. But As long as I'm NOT stepping on everybody else's toes then everything's cool.
It's real easy to say everybody who has a certain sun sign is bad. Believe me I really have to work to imagine that there's other Aquarians out there that are much better than the ones I have to deal with. Take Hannah for example, a much nicer respectful person than most aquarians in general. But that can happen to any sign, any sign can get a bad reputation. It's inevitable. That's the challenge in life, is to separate the good from the bad. Cause honestly... there's more bad capricorns, aquarians, virgos, pisces, Leo's, libras or any sign you can think of, and that's because the world we live in today is full of really mean, insane, unloving douchebags and let me tell ya, there born on everyday of the year.
So I challenge you my lovely virgo friend, don't give up hope, but don't let your guard down either. Look for better high quality, non asshole Capricorns cause in case you haven't noticed... I'm one of the good ones. I can assure you.

I don't believe the Capricorn in question is an asshole by choice, but then again
that might just be me making up excuses for them, since I absolutely adore them
and I want to support them in the things they do, since we Virgos have a giving
nature and we're extremely generous when we do care about you.
But at the same time all the things I do, never seems good enough to them, or maybe that's just
their way of motivating me to meet their expectations. By not really praising me for the things
that I do verbally, even though I give them the chance to. Are Capricorns not easily impressed
or are they just sparse with compliments like Virgos? Even though, This Capricorns thinks I'm extremely sweet and potentially knows I love them.
Capricorns are realistic and don't want to invest in things
they don't see potential returns in (I completely understand, I wouldn't want to either), but I'm stil hurt
because I'm emotionally attached and I believe the connection we have is once in a lifetime...even they
said it themselves...(but what are you supposed to do with that?) I guess I just have to try harder to meet
the requirements and persist.
The thing is though, the obstacles are many and I don't think I'm showing enough initiative
for them to consider me a serious option.
All things in short, I don't think we're going to change the status
of our friendship to something else anytime soon. But with that all said and done, I still can't stay away
at my own expense, though I do think this will eventually come to an end, because it's just gonna end up
being too hard on both of us. Alas, the thing I'm stuck on is losing this feeling and this connection
and never realizing its potential. Cause we could've been so fucking good together. And this is
the first time in my life I would honestly say that, and I'm by no means young. I guess I chose well,
but not well enough to fill all the requirements.

Hey there again Thea, I'm really sorry I took so long to answer back, cause when you first replied back to me, I was dreading the thought of how you would react cause I'm so use to getting hate on UA-cam. But after I read your comment I realized you were quite the contrary, which I was really surprised and happy to see.
I then took a while longer to answer back, because I've recently been depressed, and it comes in waves. Some days good, some days bad.
But now I'm ready to continue this brilliant conversation. And I'm also curious what your moon and rising sign is... I consider them just as important as your sun.
I'm a Capricorn Sun, with a Scorpio Moon, and a Pisces Rising.
So I'm sure you can understand that I'm just pure fucking darkness no less. 😈
But I figure as long as I'm putting all that darkness and negative energy towards the positive then I'm doing excellent I think.
Also if you don't mind me asking, how old are you? I'm 24 turning 25 in January.
But to get back on track I'm going to address all the points you made in each comment you made.
Now percentage wise I think everyone is an asshole by a certain percentage, but what I mean by asshole in this situation, is that the Capricorns you deal with in particular are assholes when it comes too being very open and honest about where they stand with you. But maybe by percentage most of them are good guys.
I also find it very interesting you specifically said, that I don't think this Capricorn is an asshole by choice. Now 2 points come up on this comment.
1. Do you really think anybody in their right or insane minds says they want to be an asshole? Lol
2. You must really love this guy, cause to make your point, I think you are making excuses for him actually.
Thus just as I thought you are, a Virgo for sure. Never truly happy or content if not doing the best you can to help and support others just like your opposite pisces.
Yes Capricorns I can say have a problem just giving compliments to everyone. It usually has to be a really good job well done for Capricorns to give them. I personally will not compliment someone if they don't deserve it. I don't waste time flattering people, if you did a good job and you put a lot of work and care into something. Expect a lot of praise from me, but just to give someone a quick boost of possibly false confidence. No.
If the Capricorns you are with, are never really showing you enough appreciation. That's a red flag for sure. Just because your compatible with them, doesn't excuse them from being negative like most people. I see you try way to hard to please them, and you just get hurt in the process. Cause it has a lot to do with who they are as an individual then what birth sign they are.
You think your the problem but that couldn't be further from the truth...
I suggest either just being friends with this person, or just cutting ties with him completely. Cause if he hasn't opened up to you yet, then he never will. He's taking you down a wild goose chase and using you. Now I know you love him, but relationships are a 2 way street. You deserve the same love and attention your dishing out, don't be fooled. Im a Virgo woman and I'm talking with a Capricorn man and let me just say he's the sweetest thing ever! Even though its only been 5 months he's surprisingly very emotional and always tells how he feels and how much I mean to him, which as I understand is not too common for caps in the beginning of relationships, so I really think he trusts me. I'm a capricorn and know a lot of other capricorns that just do not get along with virgos what so ever. Like oil and water or like liberals and conservatives. I put up with virgos because I'm force to either work with them or related to them. I'm sure not all virgos are the same, however, i noticed with virgos, i can't even wipe my own ass without a virgo saying, "your doing it wrong" or wash dishes, "this is how you wash dishes" or cleaning the sink, "your suppose to use this and scrub it clockwise with this scrubber". This capricorn is thinking, "BITCH! I know how to fucking take care of my damn self. Where the fuck were you before i met you? Exactly what I'm dealing with- my 1st client from L.A., she's a Goat and my MCE from my hometown is a Goat. Both of them do disciplining and career plans, but they make do great bosses. Side note: my MCE's birthday is January the 10th while my 1st client from L.A. has her birthday on the 25th of December.
