You don’t know me Alex but I’m an army veteran and live in San Antonio Tx where Josh will be doing his BMT. If he ever needs anything, feel free to reach out. Your family has become a little part of my family over the years. Welcome to the military family Josh.
Love this
Thank you for your service
That is so kind of you! Thank you for your service! 🙏
No fr that's how it be right. It's like one day u just randomly come across one of there videos. Than u find your self wanting more. Oh then after that u just absolutely love the whole keep it crazy family.. they also became a part of my family as well. BTW thank u so much for your service..
Thank you for your Service & offer of help. True Gentleman. 💕
Thank your brother for his services. We need more people like him in the world!!
Make sure you write him letters. Mail call is a big deal. Send a couple pictures too. When he graduated boot camp you can send him care packages which is great. In my son's navy boot camp they got razzed badly for packages during actual boot so I'd keep it to letters and pictures. I'll pray for safety, courage and strength.
Yes! 🇺🇲
As did my husband for his time in boot camp
Yes mail is crazy important, highlight of your whole day!
And not post cards. When I was in they read those out loud.
Make sure you go and visit your brother's baby while he is away. It will mean a lot to him and you will be a special part of that little girls life❤❤
Tell Josh we thank him for his service and his family's sacrifices. God Bless all of you.
Don't worry about Josh too much Alex, he picked a good branch and m.o.s. to use his brain instead of his brawn. He also made a wise decision for himself and his family, it can be a great career and if he wants he can stick if out for 20yrs and have a nice retirement and still be young enough to do whatever he wants! You and Savanna holding your niece was so cute! Sending love from Wilsonville Oregon
Now Alex would be a great father and Savana a fantastic mother. Good luck Josh congratulations!!
Congratulations to Josh. Thank you for your service sir. You are appreciated. My husband is an army vet.
Write him letters, send pictures and if you can make it to his graduation go.
Your niece is beautiful! Such sweet cheeks! I love them!
Your niece is adorable. Congratulations Josh! Thank you for your service.
Congratulations to josh and thank you for your service
That’s a beautiful baby I am so impressed with you and your brother and the love you have for each other it’s a beautiful thing ❤
So my son literally just came home from his final training for the Army. Write him LOTS AND LOTS of letters. At basic training they love to have so many letters I wrote my son 2 letters a week every week he was gone. Tell him how proud you are of him all the time. Everytime I wrote my son I left him at the end a little bit of encouragement like I would start off saying remember…. Than things like hard work always pays off!!!
Great job Josh I was adopted too. I am glad you and Alex found each other. Thank you for your service. SOAR . Step Out Above the Rest
Congratulations Josh. All the best in the future. Alex your niece is sooooooo adorable. Love your pictures of you and Savanna. They were awesome. Hugs 💕💕
Great video! 🇺🇲 That's really amazing about your brother! Lord bless him and keep him safe. Proud brother! 💙 Definitely write and send care packages like I read in a previous message! It will mean so much to him. God bless you all! Cute baby too! Sweet chubby cheekers!🎀
Congrats to Josh and thank you for his service. Your niece is so adorable
As an Army Veterans wife! We thank him! Thank you for supporting your brother!! God bless
Pray he stays safe!!!
Your both building memories to look back on-congrats Josh-the baby so cute God Bless you Both
Congratulations Josh.
I’m so proud of and happy for you. My son is just retiring after 20 years. He made it to MST SGT and is now starting as civilian for AF, Northrop Drummun*.
You will be open to so many opportunities. 👍🏻🤗🇺🇸🇺🇸
My best friends father did that both stayed in the military 20 plus years and then he worked another 20 years at Northrup. He really enjoyed both retirements...lol.
Bonnie, many thanks to your son for his service to our country and dedication to his career (and to you as well for raising him to be a strong, courageous, unselfish young man and supporting him through it all). Like your son, my brother has been in the military (Army) for 22 years and is beginning to consider retiring. He now has two beautiful girls (7 years old and 7.5 months old) and a wonderful, loving, kind and supportive wife.
I honestly believe that he would re-enlist again if he were guaranteed to stay where he is located now (which may be an option, I’m not sure if he has looked into this yet or not), but I know he does not want to be PCS’d to another base because they LOVE where they are living now and own a very nice lakefront home. They also don’t want to uproot their 7 y.o. from her school and friends (she has already had 2 major moves due to the military, one from the country she was born in while he and his wife were stationed overseas and one to where they live now).
Hopefully your son enjoys his second career working at Northrop Grumman. They are an amazing company and give A LOT of vets a great career after their departures from the military. I wish that a lot more companies had such a strong commitment to hiring veterans!
@@nodaknorskie1486 ❤️
@@nodaknorskie1486 Thank him for his service. My son will be 59 when he retires from two careers.
I’m a proud momma❤️🤗
@@luv2icesk8lots Thank you so much for your kind words, that means the world to me.
Growing up as a foster child, to becoming a single mom at 19. My son made me to best mom I am today. 👍🏻
Please thank him for his service.
I pray that he can stay in for another three years. 3/4 retirement will help his family a lot.
PCSing is not easy!
Anthony has been moved from S. Korea, Germany, Guam, Mississippi, (now one son) Pennsylvania, (now two sons) and now to Illinois! My Daughter in law is a Staff Sgt. Its been very hard at times, but the rewards have out weighed it all! ❤️🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸
Thanks Josh for your service. You have an adorable niece.
Congratulations and thanks Josh for your service., the baby is super cute xx
That baby is GORGEOUS! Good luck Josh.
Alex, please tell Josh that many people who watch your channel are praying for him and thank him for his service. I have the utmost respect for all of the courageous men and women who choose to serve our country by joining the military (along with those in law enforcement and other emergency services).
Take every chance you get to talk to Josh, and make a habit of writing to him and sending pictures while he is in basic training. Realize that phone calls will be limited and brief while he is training, so he will likely call his fiancée and daughter more than he will call you, but you can call her (or she can call you) to get updates on him. My older brother is in the Army and I remember when he was in basic he called home one night crying and told my mom that the drill instructors hated him and the Army was gonna kick him out. When he called, no one was supposed to be using the phone...he had snuck out and made the call from a pay phone with a calling card my parents had provided him. My mom told him to hang up and go back inside to bed. A few minutes later our phone rang again and it was one of his command staff. He asked my mom if my brother had just called and if he said the Army was going to discharge him. My mom told him that he had, and the sergeant said that he was NOT being kicked out, that they would make him into a good soldier but that we wouldn’t hear from my brother for a period of time as a form of punishment. My mom thanked him, said she understood and hung up.
He graduated from basic a few months later (if my memory is right, Army basic training for the infantry is 14 weeks) and shortly after he went to Airborne school to learn how to jump out of airplanes and helicopters and into a potential war zone. As an airborne infantryman, he literally gets paid to jump out of airplanes and be the “boots on the ground”. He had ADHD as a child, so that job matched his energy and personality perfectly!
My brother is still serving in the Army and has been enlisted since he graduated from high school in the year 2000 (obviously this will be his 23rd year). He has been deployed 4 or 5 times (I think it is 5, but I could be wrong), once to Kosovo and the rest to Afghanistan. He also had the opportunity to be stationed and live in Italy two separate times. That is where he met his beautiful wife (a wonderful Italian woman) and they had their first child. He moved back to the US with his family about 5 years ago (maybe 6) if my memory is correct and lived in Colorado for a few years but now lives and works out of a base on the east coast.
He is currently teaching for the Army, and as a teacher he is non deployable, so he will remain in the US for now. He REALLY loves where he is living now, and his family does not want to move again, so when it comes time for him to re-enlist if the Army will guarantee him the chance to stay where he is at I can see him considering it. However, since he has put in over 20 years and now has two AMAZING kids ages 7 years and 7.5 months, I think he will seriously consider retiring and getting a civilian job (perhaps he will continue to teach the same subject he is currently teaching at the college level but as a civilian vs. enlisted). Since he is only 41, he is young enough to go on and have a second career and eventually have two retirement checks coming in each month.
Sorry for rambling. Again, please tell Josh we thank him for his service and will be praying for him and his family as they begin this new chapter in their lives.
I love how between you and your brother it’s such gold sibling’s relationship
Omg now that Josh has had his haircut I can’t believe how much you look like him Alex! Best of luck Josh on your new adventure🎉
Thank you Josh for your service 🙏
Josh Thank you for your service. Alex writing back and forth with your brother to keep in contact. Lots hugs.
Oh Alex ur little niece is beautiful.
Josh will do amazing u will still get to see him and hey when and if they move it’s always a great reason for a holiday.
Josh stay safe out there.
Make sure you send letters and care packages Alex. You also need to make sure that you check in regularly with your niece if they do stay locally. I'm sure your brother would appreciate you looking after his family while he's gone.
Thank you for your service josh
Your niece is so cute! Congratulations to your brother and best wishes to him!❤
Ive been a military wife for 24 yrs.. my husband has been deployed four times while our kids were little. I use to write him nightly in a notebook and once the notebook was finished then i would send it.. i told him what the kids did daily and included pictures of them or ones they drew. By the time he had time to read it i was ready to send another notebook. When they move away make sure you send updated pictures of yourself for your niece so she grows up knowing who you are. Theres so many gift ideas you can do with pictures of yourself online.. google deployment gift ideas
It's amazing how much Josh looks like a dad now compared to previous videos.
I love Juniper's cheeks! You just want to squeeze them! 💗

What a cute niece , uncle Alex. Good luck Josh
It’s hard to see loved ones leave. And in the military it’s worse because they are gone longer. But I thank your brother for going into the military. Without our military we would not have the freedoms we currently have.❤
Arizona is such a lovely state! Love that Savannah named the dead fish! Sad that Josh is going away and gone for so long! You can definitely keep in touch via mail! Excited that you get to meet your niece! I love babies too! Cute baby! Why does she have a brace? I hope she is okay and doesn't have to wear it long! The pic of Alex and Juniper was adorable!
I wish Josh the best for bootcamp and beyond!!
Sadly I have to say engineers do go to war too. I know because I trained with a lot of them and also because I was support for engineers at an infantry division. The good news is that he will have the training that he needs to make it work. And if and when he chooses to leave the military the transition would be much smoother. >>> write a lot of letters. I don't know how basic is know but in my time the letters make my days so much better.
Congratulations to Josh and your niece is so cute
Tell Josh congratulations and Thank him for his service. He picked a great branch. 🎉 My son has been in the Air Force for 15 years and my daughter in law for 17 years. They just both finished there Master Degrees while taking care of my 2 grandkids. They are both Chief Master Sergeants and hope to retire in there 20 yr anniversary. “ AIM HIGH FLY-FIGHT-WIN AIRPOWER ANYTIME, ANYWHERE” ❤💪🏼🙏🏻 🇺🇸
The look of panic when the baby started to make noise 😂😂
Congratulations Josh! You will like the military for its many opportunities. Alex due letters and face time. Have a good day.
Stop your pictures were so cute!!!!! Ugh love it ! 🥰💪
You're videos are generally Amazing 🙂 I love watching them
Good luck to him the military is a great career and you get to see a lot of places. The best thing is you can travel to see him wherever he gets stationed. My dad was in the army and I got to see so many amazing places as I grew up.
Amazing Josh is joining the military and engineering is great. Your niece is cute
Letters, letters, letters!!!! My daughter just graduated Air Force basic a few years ago and letters were her life!! Once they get to tech they will be able to call and stuff.
Thank you for sharing. There are so many places you can show or discover with Savannah and girls near by. And for an affordable price or free.
I'm glad you could see Josh and finally your niece Juniper.
As for recording, can you please look into the camera/lens , instead of off. Thanks; because the footage has much improved 👍🏼
Why does it matter to you where someone looks into a camera? Whatever they’re comforting doing, that’s what they will to.
@Dear Leah It matters to me, because I think it is important that the viewer feels eye contact.
@@lindadriessen9027 how many accounts do you have? Very weird. He’ll look wherever he feels comfortable looking.
@Dear Leah Of course Alex can look where he is comfortable with. As I answered you 7 days ago, when a person speaks directly to the viewers, it matters to me to have the feeling of eye contact.
@@lindadriessen9027 it’s about what he’s comfortable with on his own channel, not what we’re comfortable with. Why try to force him to do something he might not feel comfortable doing?
The stone Savanah picked up may have Petoskey Stone, found in upper Michigan. No idea how it got to Arizona. Goggle it to see they look the same.
You are so kind. And thank you for your service. I am not in nor have I ever been in the service. But I came here to find some happiness because I watch all the families channels. I am from San Antonio also. And just so down and miserable with life. Not able to get help getting med on Fri morn $196 bucks so really down but to find your kind of sweetness gives me hope.
God Bless him and please Thank Him For His Service
I lived in Tempe for 3 years. Had such fun good friends and great restaurants.
Your little niece probably is shocked and fascinated by the resemblance between you and her dad. You guys do look very alike 😊
Thanks for his service
Definitely write and send him pictures cause it will help him make it thru his training and even more so when he is stationed else where.
Love Savanna’s outfit!
I'm sorry to tell you, but being an engineer in the military doesn't mean not going to war. My husband was an engineer when he was in Iraq. And saw plenty of action.
Proud of him and thankful for him serving the military.
Been a military spouse for 20 years to a 38-year veteran. Was a military kid for 20 years before that. Youngest daughter is also a veteran. Military service runs deep in our family and spans 5 branches
The photo of you and your niece 💕 so gorgeous 😍
Not gonna lie, this one made me cry a little bit ❤️
Air Force is good to their soldiers and tell him take advantage if they send him over seas it will be a great experience.
I like Savana’s new look.Either it’s hair or eyebrows. The new looks suits her
Make sure you send him care packages. My brother was in the airforce and he said they were a lifeline to home. Send letters in the mail. Soldiers live for mail call. FaceTime and zoom calls are another way to go.
Congratulations and good luck Josh! 🎉🎉🎉Stay safe!🙏🤞🙏 I know it's going to be hard for you Alex but it will even be harder for Josh and his fiance with the baby. Alex right letters to Josh and I am sure he'll right back. Please us posted on how he is doing. Good luck to you all! Alex you should take Savannah to St John's I am sure she will love it. If you don't have a place to stay Shelley and Jared will probably let you stay with them.
We always interpret babies crying when they see us as a bad reaction, but remember, it also could’ve been because she saw you and wanted you to pick her up and hold her. And if you aren’t doing that, she’s gonna cry. She seemed so focused on you, it genuinely could’ve been her wanting to check you out and be held by you. Babies are curious lil chonkers especially at that age. I wouldn’t take it automatically as a “as she doesn’t like me!” Thing because it could literally be the opposite. Babies cry when they want their moms to pick them up. So don’t count it out Lol. It might’ve been a “yeah it’s about time, uncle Alex! Now come snuggle me RIGHT NOW! thing lol. Just “oh who’s that guy, I want him to pick me up, I’m curious about that guy”
Awesome video I really like it lot it was cool and you made awesome video and you are best UA-cam channel
Good luck to your brother and your niece is so cute

I love it. You don't hear the name Jennifer anymore (my name too) where it used to be so common. She's adorable.
