I'm having the problem with the light bulb blowing out due to high voltage do you have any idea what's going on with my ct110 I have a new battery new stator. Can you give me any idea what's wrong?
Hi Troy. First thing, which year model is your CT110? Earlier models ran on a 6V battery/circuit so my first thought is that you have a 12V battery in a system designed for 6V. If that is all fine, check the electrical voltage output of the generator to make sure it matches your circuit.
I took the headlight off, followed the orange wire back from the speaker, followed it to a four way connection and unplugged it.. no more horrible sound.. bliss 😇👏

Use a multimeter to check for voltage spikes at the light bulb. If you have the correct voltage then it just must be the bulbs.
Love a postie bike. Does it really make that sound when the blinkers flash?
Yes, the ex post office ones do. It is great for when you leave the blinker on after turning.
Wondering if you can get a clicker sound instead of this God awful ear piercing screech?
One thing is for sure, you never forget to leave the blinker on with this noise. And it's not so bad with a helmet on, outside in traffic.
