For anyone else watching this: Please always use welding goggles or a shield. Using a welder without that protection is extremely dangerous and very bad for your eyesight.

Why don't you weld the bottom in position instead of an overhead and downhill welds? Seems like there would be less start and stops.

I think some stitch welds would’ve been ok, that’s so much wire and gas for one project.

JaviejayNew yeah but I wanted it to be “sealed” on every side and an extra 15$ for gas and wire doesn’t bother me

Hey I have a question, do big steel planters such as this one need drainage holes? Where does the excess water go?🤔

I thought I showed it in the video but I put two drains in with a 3/4 inch pipe welded on so you can connect a hose to it

just normal steel it rusts but I get it power coated black. I sell them for 400$ but that doesn’t included painting
