Been to Vegas only 4 or 5 times with my wife the past 10 years. Good times fir sure. Watching your videos brings back those wonderful memories as my wife has a terrible illness and we can't travel anymore. Thanks guys, keep winning!
This was a nice idea. Looking forward to seeing the next casino. Boy, wish there were quarter machines to play. I remember when you played 2 quarters. Then 5 line, 5 quarters. And going with $100 for the day did last. The good old days! 😊
VP!!!! i almost cried...ha! Thnx for shout out/play!! Now, SP layout ain't great but can overlook cuz great deals & VP heaven...fyi, game u were playing was 99%, great payback but not many people can play correctly on Dueces. Also, Mark called 3 hands rite...Discard all, 2 hands for the straight draw...the hand u weren't sure of where u said u had 4 to a straight, actually only had 3 to a straight, so correct play was to only hold Duece...i kno u dont care but just an fyi. Great beginning of series!!👍
@@liljoe7171 thanks for the input joe, we have been very clear it’s not our game and we don’t play it. But now we can say we did and everyone will agree we should not again :)
Thanks for taking us along on this trip, Dave and Marc! I also agree that not having the old school, lower denom machines closer together in a casino is a negative whenever it happens. I'd rather know where everything I want to play is easily instead of having to hunt in every nook and cranny to find those games.
I got to meet Marc today and sadly i think i was a fanboy :) he seemed like a super nice man and i'm sure was asking himself why is this guy fanboying me lol Thanks for letting me chat you up some Marc. I love your channel and wish you continued success. Ron from the grocery store.
South Point is the first casino I go to comming up from California. They are slowly upgrading their slots (they got rid of my favorite slot Spy vs Spy). The table games are great, they even have 5.00 minimum Craps! The cupcakes at the Deli are wonderful and don't forget the 1.25 hot dogs next to the Sportsbook!
Since this was filmed in May? I think you said. Maybe pin a post on each of the videos listing any offers you have recieved since? Be interested to see what some of these places offer you based on a $50 bankroll. i figured you'll at least get a little free play and room rebates
I hope you guys go to The Orleans which is my favorite off-strip casino by far. I won jackpots on bets of less than $3 twice...it also has great eats for reasonable prices and is kid-friendly (which some folks don't like, but my kids love going).
Good Morning Marc and Dave. 50.00 is about what I can do at one time. Well y'all was having a off time at that one. Never know if you went back you might win. I understand there's just some Casino's that you don't click with. See y'all on the Flipside.
Tons of old school, but see what you are saying. I do have to say, I did hit $9200 on $2 denom $4 bet on double triple strike, second highest hit. Was not expecting it, nor the slot boss.
For all but a few professional gamblers, the South Point is head and shoulders above all the other casinos. The VP goes up to 99.7% and the cash back is a generous 0.3%. Places like the Stations and Boyd only give 0.1% or less and offer nothing to the video poker player. Other decent options are The M, Arizona Charlies and Silverton. But the high quality cheap food at the South Point gives them the nod in my book. None of that stupid 6:5 blackjack either.
My experience with double diamond, which I try to play each time I'm at the casino is mostly dead spins. This is anecdotal of course, but I've had more luck with Triple double diamond, triple stars etc. Double diamond thus far, has been very lacking. So goes random. :p I'll still feed it most times I'm there though for just a little bit - it's the only DD there. Highly contested amongst the geriatric crowd.
The only slot machines that I like are the original classic Wheel of Fortune. There are some on Fremont Street. If you guys know of any other casinos that have them let me know. Thanks.
For me off strip vs on strip, I have nothing but losses off strip I do have losses on strip but off set by several jackpots. I’ve seen no upside to playing off strip.
They don't change the odds for the weekends - it's a very big process they have to go through in order to get that done. It just feels that way sometimes :)
You NEVER bet just one credit in VP!!!!!! If you get a RF with no deuces betting 1 credit, you'd win only 250 credits. Betting Max you'd get 4000!! As you have often noted on some slot games, if you can't bet max, don't play! You are doing it all wrong!

Best breakfast and seafood buffet for the money in Vegas. All the restaurants also have great happy hour specials. The Poker room is always slammed.
Really enjoy your reviews of off strip casinos...thank you.
Loved southpoint this year. We’ll be going back.we had good food, good wins, good movie theater. Relaxing

Good morning thank you for allowing us to tag along with you
The triple diamond machine right behind that double diamond was friendly to me... Makes some nice grinding noises too haha
No on inside straights with duces wild
Good to know! You can tell we aren’t VP players :)
@@GambleSmart OK. I can teach you both video poker!🃏
Weird, the trainer I use says to try for inside straights.

Ron - it was great to meet you today! I really appreciate your support of the channel and it was an honor to meet you!
Fun watching you guys at Southpoint. I was there two weeks ago.
I love South Point! I stay there during the NASCAR race weekends.
Thanks for info! I wanted some other properties to go to if MGM comps get any worst. Keep these coming - good times woowho!
South Point reminds me of being on a cruise ship. Everything you need is on the premises.
Good analogy!

Southpoint is cool. I was there not too long ago. Cowboy themed casino

South Point has a great Race & Sports book areas.
I agree! It’s huge.
Everytime I play VP in my mind I keep saying "I think I am doing this wrong" Listening to your VP bater gave me deja vu at least I am not alone.😃
LOL
Have you been to the Orleans? Done 6 trips there since November 2022. What are your thoughts on Megabucks?

where are Double Diamond games located in the casino please.
Very back towards the sportsbook and poker tables.
Poker ? I went into a place that had Liquor in the front & Poker in the rear 😮
i see what you did there 🤣🤣
I’m surprised at the attitude of the drink servers, not even asking if you want one 😮
not all drink servers are created equal.
Tons of old school, but see what you are saying. I do have to say, I did hit $9200 on $2 denom $4 bet on double triple strike, second highest hit. Was not expecting it, nor the slot boss.
#replay Now this is my kind of gaming 😂❤😂

Hey Marc, I found an old 5 line Top Dollar in .25 denom on the Strip! Do you want to know where to find it?
Is it at TI? heard the rumor about it being there but we did not make it on our last trip.
@@GambleSmart yes it’s there!
South Point is the best video poker house in Las Vegas.
Enjoy the video thanks

good morning
Morning
How do you get to video in a casino?
Ask permissions or have a property that has a good open filming policy
Id hold the ace in Double double bonus poker.
WE played at Delta Downs on $20...for hours until we left the double diamonds and moved up to penny slots loosing $500 .88 Cents at a time...😂❤😂
The only slot machines that I like are the original classic Wheel of Fortune. There are some on Fremont Street. If you guys know of any other casinos that have them let me know. Thanks.
Those are some of my favorite too, but I also have only seen them downtown.
Southpoint was the 1st place I went to and lost all my money fast! Never went back there ever again.
Don’t blame you with that experience, but the brunch is good. Hope the next trip went better.
For me off strip vs on strip, I have nothing but losses off strip I do have losses on strip but off set by several jackpots. I’ve seen no upside to playing off strip.
I go to South Point all the time but never made more than $150 seems as if the slots are tighter on the big holiday weekends.
They don't change the odds for the weekends - it's a very big process they have to go through in order to get that done. It just feels that way sometimes :)
Lol i know people already griefed you here but always bet max bet. .25 cent is the sweet spot denom
One credit?
Holding KsJs6s with a wild?
You really should be ashamed to post this video.
Relax, we said multiple times in the video we are not Video Poker players.
You NEVER bet just one credit in VP!!!!!! If you get a RF with no deuces betting 1 credit, you'd win only 250 credits. Betting Max you'd get 4000!! As you have often noted on some slot games, if you can't bet max, don't play!

I have said i don’t video poker but people ask for video poker. it’s never something i put the time into.
