Hidden in the outer Himalayan range of the Kumaoni mountains is an emerald-colored jewel called Khurpatal Lake in the Khurpatal town. This lesser famous town is a tourist's and photographer's paradise as the emerald-colored waters of this lake offer the best pictures, with backdrop as good as a postcard. Located 10 km away from the Nainital city, Khurpatal town is a beautiful town surrounded by lush green forests and sky-high trees.
The elevation of 1635 meters above sea level makes this place a perfect spot for a vacation in the peaceful abode of Himalayas. This place serves to be an excellent example where man and nature co-exist in perfect harmony.
कुमाऊंनी पहाड़ों की बाहरी हिमालय श्रृंखला में छिपा हुआ एक पन्ना रंग का रत्न है जिसे खुर्पाताल शहर में खुर्पाताल झील कहा जाता है। यह कम प्रसिद्ध शहर पर्यटकों और फ़ोटोग्राफ़रों के लिए स्वर्ग है क्योंकि इस झील का पन्ना रंग का पानी बेहतरीन तस्वीरें पेश करता है, जिसकी पृष्ठभूमि पोस्टकार्ड जितनी अच्छी होती है। नैनीताल शहर से 10 किमी दूर स्थित खुर्पाताल शहर हरे-भरे जंगलों और गगनचुंबी पेड़ों से घिरा एक खूबसूरत शहर है।
