The price is competitive whereas all other brands with similar features charge extremely high. The car prices in India of all manufacturers is very high and unjustified. Foreign manufacturers make fool of Indian buyers.Look at the price of i20! I want to update and studied almost all hatchbacks. Tata boasts of safety, but look at the price - very high and unjustified. Maruti charges lesser for more features. The only hitch is build quality, but in case of accidents all cars get damaged. At high speed no car is safe. When we talk of safety, consider that point with two wheelers. 90% of our population rides two wheelers! Tata should think of making car prices affordable. The only car with all good features, 4star rating and reasonably priced SUV is Brezaa. If my budget permits me I would indeed go for it point blank. In my final analysis, I have selected SWIFT VXI which satisfies the need of a middle class family and no car comes near it so far as design, features, price and crowning glory, mileage is concerned. In India middle class is still struggling with the Idea of owning a car. No manufacturer has matching points with Swift. No wonder no other brand can beat Maruti sales figures. Safety is a lacking point, though.
