For some reason i have always been interested in this part of rock n roll history, with Frank Zappas music as something i felt i could trust in a artistic way. Its sort of like archeology, all the details becomes important to fully enjoy this material, so thanks for this inside!
The Jim Morrison reference in Tinseltown Rebellion has always made me think of a recurring radio ad for Gazzarri’s nightclub on Sunset Strip which was broadcast at that time on Rock FM stations KMET and KLOS. Owner Bill Gazzarri would hawk new acts by stating “Come see these bands on the same stage where Van Halen and The Doors were discovered !” I always figured Frank was mocking that often played radio spot.
My first Zappa record. Still one of my absolute favourites. The best version of Peaches and Brown shoes.
Thanks for watching!

Good review Mr. Wazoo. I saw FZ front row at the famous Madison Panty Rap!! My friends and I waited all night to get that front row too!
Nice! Thanks for watching!
Cool that you saw Frank at the U of A. I went there for grad school!
Main Auditorium was a great place for the shows. Thanks for watching!
Love this record. I saw Frank in Toronto when he toured this album.
Thanks for watching!

Ha ha, exactly! Thanks for watching!
I sure wish this video talked more with the music! I’m about eight minutes in and I’m unsure if there any sounds on this particular record.
it was not a businnes man in the song, it was a member of governemt, someonme who worked in city hall.
Right! Yeah, I misspoke. City Hall Fred. Thanks for watching!
@@calvinwazoo misspoke? 1st category blunder, do some research next time ;)
LOL, yes, it's not the first time I've misspoke and likely will not be the last.
Zappa one album at a time. Where are you going to find the energy to make 7,384 videos?
It’s not a question of energy, but whether I’ll live long enough
Did not find it inspiring att, too speak of it softly, basically the last FZ album I liked was Joe's Garage. But.. to each their own.
