@@BrendanOConnellWP No, I have never used it. But it immediately came to my mind that it could be potentially useful when migrating content from one WP site to another! 🤔
@@isaurasotoca Definitely! Cross posting blogs, or just migrating content. And you can combine flows in Activepieces - so you can update 2 different custom post types and their fields + automate an email/social post/etc. - all in a single flow
@@BrendanOConnellWP I haven't used it but one use case was syncing an Airtable base to WordPress. I thought of doing this for a few different use cases and planned to use a plugin (I think it's called "Air WP Sync"). The plugin didn't do all the things I needed so I haven't started.
@@ReubenHochstetler Nice, someone told me about AirTable Sync recently and we used it to mass populate locations and associated faqs, and it was so fast. It really does sync in an easier to use way than what I demo'd in this video. BUT there's trade offs in granular functions, and additional flows if you use a full feature automation tool vs one dedicated to a single task. Feel free to hit me up with questions if it's helpful
Nice video dude.. Mic is working well now.. Just had a quick look while awaiting a train. On the next fetch it will get all posts again. What methodology is used to ensure only new posts are transferred to the target site? Or is that he complex bit for the next video?
thank you my friend, haha that is only due to me -actually- editing a video for once and increasing volume 200% 🥲. Part 2 of this video I released today for hooking up ACF fields. EDIT: didn't see the rest of your comment - yes that is a problem there - in the video today, i used google sheets and that works very well and is a nice way to organize your import data, but that's slightly different than the first. i need to figure out how to only fetch the most recent post - and have it either fetch weekly (and not add a duplicate) or somehow trigger it when the first site posts. i'll have to dig into it
For the most part: yes. You can connect many apps, even those not officially listed, to do this same automation from a crm into ACF fields. you can fetch and display data with a number of other plugins, like dynamic shortcodes
Short, sweet, and simple. Great video. Excellent video showcasing ActivePieces.
Much appreciated!
Your on a roll Brendan! Love how you continuously share methods AND tools no one else does.
I appreciate that. Whom amongst us doesnt love a good tool that makes our lives easier!
Great video! Clear and to the point. Looking forward to the next one. 👍🏻😊
Awesome, thank you! Was worried it's overly technical and not explained enough. Happy to hear any suggestions you've got on whats useful
Super interesting, Brendan!! 👏
Merci Isaura! Are you utilizing REST API in your work? Any usecases come to mind?

Nice.....seems easy to follow!👍
I hope so! Check out video 2 for more detailed step by step, and more practical use case
Great stuff! Very interesting!!
Thanks Reuben! You ever use this? Got any interesting use cases?

Thanks @@BrendanOConnellWP! That's really helpful to know.
@@ReubenHochstetler ive got airtable working as cms in a few other front ends, like webstudio divhunt - very powerful stuff
