It was to be a day of frustration for the defending Premier League champions.
Wolves had played well in a number of games without luck this season, but today they rode their luck - as well as playing out of their skin.
Pedro Neto's cross was turned past Ederson by Ruben Dias in the first-half as City struggled to create any clear-cut chances.
With so many key players missing, the Blues were far from their fluent best but still kept plugging away until Julian Alvarez levelled with a superb free-kick.
However, it was Wolves who grabbed the third goal of the game when Hee-chan - who many felt should have been dismissed for second bookable offence - prodded home from close range eight minutes later.

Alvarez is a world class player who has various skills like pace, dribbling, technique, vision and composure. He is going to be a superstar for many years to come. He will win you clutch matches, needs to be appreciated and treasured. He will be a longtime player for City, if he is appreciated and respected.
Haaland is a deadly goalscorer who needs good supply and services from his teammates. His skill set is finishing. He has of now, doesn't have the creative ability to create something out of nothing. He will struggle, if opponents box him or his team in tight spaces. I always felt he is a better version of Inzaghi, basically strikers who are in the right place at the right time. Benzema and Lewandoski have superior skillset and can't be compared to Haaland. But, several important factors that are in Haaland's favour, he is very young, friendly and ego-less. Such players will learn new skills and will be vital to a team for their team spirit.
People should have patience with Haaland, and they should appreciate his amazing goal scoring ability and also.accept his limitations. He will improve definitely. He and Alavarez are going to be a backbone of City for many years to come. Show the patience and respect to them. They will learn and improve.

Fr I can't believe he didn't play Stones like that just crazy, he played 2 CDM's that weren't natural grown into it. Stones was but idk what Pep's doing, I don't see him say much in the past weeks. Like he wasn't even the manager today he just watched. Obviously he should rest but he needs to make better decisions and not underestimate positions. Like maybe giving Lewis some gametime would change things, he doesn't have the strength like very one else but he's very fast so he can keep up with the others and wait for Ruben or Akanji.

Unpopular opinion :- Alvarez is far better than Halland. Halland can't dribble, can't score a free kick, always stays in the box area, never backs down. You have to make a good ball for him to score. As a staunch CITY supporter, I am sad we lost. However, I want people to see how important Rodri is. We all need to see how Alvarez is more impressive than Haaland (If Haaland has no support or assist, he is useless and he misses chances too much of late). City must admit that you can't loose your firing squad and not feel it- Mahrez, Gundogan, Sterling, Zinchenko, Jesus, Cancelo- Also, Stones, B.Silva, Debruyne all injured. This CITY team is winning because of the coach, motivation and good spirits. We mustn't be hard on them. It's good we are humbled on time.
We might have won Treble but we must acknowledge that we had many players that always show up when we least expected. The only players doing that this season is Alvarez and Foden- Rodri is consistent.

First i commend Ederson for the improvement in his goal saving this season, i used to criticize him for that but he's been amazing this season. It's time for Haaland to step up. Being a player in a great team like city is not just about scoring goals. You press the opposing team to not just try and dispossess them but affect their rhythm

I tell you...When De Bruyne returns, let Álvarez take Haaland's place. The team is going to have more goals than with the Norwegian, because the Argentine in that position is as lethal as Haaland, but at the same time he will continue to be a playmaker, something that Haaland does not know how to do....
Alvarez can never score more than 50 goals in a season. Haaland is so good that his goals look so bad and average. Check your football knowledge.

Haaland is having a below par season and thats something to worry about. This goes to show the value of KDB to this team. He was directly responsible for alot of his goals, with a lot more coming from penalties, last season. I think the only other city player who had the forward vision that would have benefitted Haaland was Cancelo, but somehow, Guardiola doesn't need him no more.. Hopefully Guardiola can come up with a strategy.
