Grateful to have just recently discovered Derek Prince's teachings .. I was lost and only recently became born again in my own path.. I was possessed with the spirit of death.. ive had dreams .dealt with internal demins. demons.. survived 6 suicide attempts and suffered from rage.. abandonment..addiction.. and had welcomed in the occult.. I cast out Satan ...I asked my lord for forgiveness..and forgave all who ever hurt me.. and I believe God heard me.. I have peace in my home.. I lack nothing..I trust Jesus will continue to guide me on a more holy..humbled path. I no longer grieve my dead..as I know..they are loved .forgiven and in gods grace.
@min. 606, satan got the Church Fathers to view themselves as self-important then the Lord's brethren and established themselves as overlords to the church. Like Balaam persuaded the Israelites to fornicate against God, which brings a downfall. This time the Lord in Spirit intervened with Grace and Truth where we can personally say, as for me and my house we will serve the LORD!!!
So I'm getting further and he is talking more about religious rules rather than God's Word. Because Anglican, Episcopal, Catholics will have different "rules" , but either way: religious practices in different denominations or Christian perspectives, or even if you want to say what I previously said, we will call the entirety of God's Word's "the rules" , I think it doesn't work, yes it ends up carnal and impossible. A person who has God's Spirit in them, they don't obey God's Word and keep it like that

I haven't finished watching this video, but I am going to in a second, so far I really like D.Prince. But my thought was what if legalism refers to : keeping a set of rules, but lets say , that set of rules is God's Word? Would that be a legitmate way of thinking about walking by faith and walking with God? My thinking was, no, because the bible is just too massive and it would be impossible unless God were supernaturally empowering someone to keep His Word. So, the person repents and trusts in Jesus, God puts His Spirit in them, through the Holy Spirit they can obey God's Word
The Church has been crucified to the law, the world system, the old Adamic nature, evil forces etc Guilt has been defeated. The penalty, power and pollution of sin has no more power over the Church. Sin has been nailed to a tree. Isaiah 53 has what the Hebraic mind, wounded, bruised, chastisement and stripes are different ways of saying the same thing. Isaiah 53 is about sin.
